My main negative that is not on the business itself but the amount of flies you have to battle on patio makes enjoying meal difficult. The patio would be serene if not for this, I don't think I could sit out there again until the season changes. A local option for quick bite, bring a flyswatter or wait for indoor seating.

The chef salad had crisp lettuce , fresh tomato wedges and cucumber slices , ham and turkey were rolled together nicely and the egg was perfect (not that rubbery stuff you get) . The lemon bad was out of this world , absolutely the best I have ever had , doughnut was that good thick cake doughnut (only made on Saturday's). I got an espresso drink (caramel macchiato) and a brewed coffee . The macchiato was pretty good . That brewed coffee was amazing , it was a mix of house blend and the tiger coffee . Anytime you go to a place that treats you like you matter , appreciates you as a customer(on your first visit) and has good food and drinks it is worth raving about . The Blend Cafe is definitely worth going out of your way 10-15 mins for . If you're in the Newberry area I would head over and give them a try .

Sourdough bread, the bacon was thick and cooked perfectly i got the punch of blackberry with the gouda & all the flavors came together beautifully! It was a pleasant surprise! I also ordered hot tea- I'm usually running cold, so a hot cup of tea or coffee is always welcome- and especially since they serve Charleston Tea there! Also this location IS NOT a drive through even though it indicates that it is on Google maps and Yelp. It's such an irritating thing when a business, especially a coffee location, keeps the only menu available at the cash register. This means that the line backs up and everybody has to wait so that the the peeps at the front have to spend several minutes at the cash register to figure out what they want. That adds to the slowness of the baristas, which are pretty ho-hum about the whole endeavor. We each got lattes, I got the spicy honey-cinnamon and G got a regular. Nothing special about either, just middle of the road. In addition we asked for a "Pupa-chino", for our Puppy-Dog, which is usually a small cup of whipped cream that most coffee shops (and even McDonald's) give you for no charge. When we looked at the receipt they had charged us $1.50. Would have been nice to know they charge for it. It was huge, a full 12 ounce cup of which we ended up tossing out half of. Puppy-Dog certainly enjoyed what he got but it was just way too much greasy fatness for him. Finally, I'm not sure what the deal is, the people working there are as quiet as mice.
