I honestly saw the billboard for this place out on I26- like 80 miles out and thought, that sounds great! I made sure to note the exit number and knew it was before my exit, so off I went! As you wind your way through the antique store, you eventually come to the center divide between front and back- and there is the sign to point you to the cafe, but seriously, follow your nose. You can smell the deliciousness once you get to the center. The cafe is downstairs- but it looked like locals park and enter from a back door- like the building is on a hill and the basement back door is ground level. FOOD! There was a special on the board for a grilled turkey, bacon, gouda and I was tempted, but that would be a safe choice for me. When I saw the berry gouda grilled cheese, I decided to be adventurous!!! Sourdough bread, the bacon was thick and cooked perfectly i got the punch of blackberry with the gouda & all the flavors came together beautifully! It was a pleasant surprise! I also ordered hot tea- I'm usually running cold, so a hot cup of tea or coffee is always welcome- and especially since they serve Charleston Tea there! I had a cup of the raspberry tea, always delightful. Service was sparkling. I went back today to the antique store, but I missed the cafe hours- probably a good thing, I wasn't hungry- but I doubt I could've resisted the smells. What are hidden gem we found today! My sister and I stopped here for lunch based on a recommendation from a friend. What a variety of sandwiches and desserts! This cute market café is in the bottom of an antique mall. We had the sweetest waitress help us make a decision as to what to order. My sister got the Little Mountain PB&J. It definitely was not peanut butter and jelly! It had delicious, pimento cheese, bacon and jalapeño jelly on toasted wheat bread. Delicious! I ordered the chicken salad plate. I'm a very picky chicken salad person and this was fabulous! Afterwards, we decided to Try one of the desserts. My sister ordered the peanut butter pie. Thus generous piece of pie had the lightest and fluffiest filling I've ever Absolutely cannot wait to go back and try several of the other items on their menu! I wish I had taken more pictures, but everything looks so delicious when it arrived that we ate it straight away. read more

Excellent service! This is an adorable Café, but we found it hard to find from the antique mall because you have to go to the back of the shop, go down the stairs, go outside and around. Lots and lots of seating and the place was packed. Two ladies at one table were squabbling over "the last slice of tomato pie" so it must've really been good. When you're fighting your family member for food it's an excellent recommendation! We ordered the BLT on toasted sourdough with a side of ambrosia like tropical fruit salad. For dessert, we reserve a slice of carrot cake because it appeared to be popular as well. The BLT was delicious! Thick slices of real fresh tomato, nice piece of bacon, and crispy lettuce in nicely, toasted sourdough. The fruit salad was heavenly, like ambrosia, which I haven't had in decades. My Mom and I were camping at Dreher Island State Park (DISP) and found this hidden gem within the Little Mountain Unlimited Antique Mall (just 12 miles away from DISP). The cafe is just downstairs from the 25,000-sq ft antique shop. We stopped by Sun afternoon for lunch. This cafe was bustling with an after church crowd with wait staff scurrying from counter to tables, all while greeting new customers and either pointing them to available tables or putting them on the wait list. The dining room is surrounded on most sides by antique treasures and was a nice spot to take a break from shopping. My Mom & I did have a little wait to placing our order but that was more than understandable based on the crowd. Kelly was our waitress and she was really friendly, always looking out after us, and anticipating our needs. My Mom and I both ordered something from their Daily Special menu. Mom got the Tomato Bisque (with a chicken salad sandwich) and I got the Tomato, Bacon & Goat Cheese Quiche (with a side salad). Our order was quick to arrive, within 15 min. Both specials were excellent. Their southern sweet tea was on point. We did scope out the dessert counter with all their homemade cakes and pies, but were unfortunately too full to try one. Do not get any of the burgers. Meat is pre made patties like you would get at Walmart. Not worth $17 a person. Had to get up and ask for tea refill. Decor was antiques. I'll eat at a 7 11 before eating here again. read more

Such a fun and unique food experience! The food was super tasty, service was friendly and the ambiance is like no other. Very enjoyable!

Absolutely an embarrassment to restaurants in general. We waited for 30 minutes to be sat, waited a another hour for drinks, and another hour for food. The customer service was horrid. We had four employees talk to us. Only one was good. She was short, and blonde with braids. She was very nice and she apologized to us for the wait. I forgot to ask her name. One lady was extremely rude. She was fat and in a newberry college tshirt. She was snippy and rude the entire time. The Antique Mall Cafe is hard to find but easy to love. It's on the bottom floor of an antique store on a rural highway and doesn't have a separate sign, but once you drive around back you find a great meal at a great price. They offer lunch fare with a quiche of the day, a daily special sandwich, and a different soup each day. They also specialize in lovely pies and cakes.The service is friendly and efficient. Over two visits we enjoyed the grilled cheese, pimento burger, chicken salad, and the Southern PB&J along with cabbage soup, mushroom and gouda bisque, and apple pudding cake. read more
