This coffee shop has a huge selection of books . It is more like a small library with coffee . The coffee is a smooth and subtle . The drinks have fun cool names and you can make up your own drink like most places . All four employees were super sweet to my wife and I . I started talking about matcha flavor add ins with the guy working the register and ended up telling him to surprise me with any flavor. He made me a salted caramel matcha with strawberry cold foam and it was the best iced matcha I've ever had!!! read more

I got the Eeyore, a French vanilla and lavender latte. I wish it was more heavy on the lavender. Everyone enjoyed their drinks. 5 stars because they had a voter registration station! And they have books and Harry Potter signs. They get really into the Halloween decorations. It would be a good place to study! read more

we randomly happened upon this place while driving. Found it on yelp actually. What a cute place. First of all, it has a small parking lot which it shares with other places but there is plenty of place to park. It's not crowded. They have tons of books and it is a coffee shop and I believe they have some food as well. I don't remember what foods they had. Delicious drinks, variety of flavors and combinations. I highly recommend coming here. It may be a little bit out of your way but it's definitely worth the drive. Everyone is super friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks there and the prices are reasonable. They also have a restroom in the back. You can read, eat, drink or study if you want to. it has a nice quiet to low rumble which is nice. It's a great place for groups as well or to me the first date even. Unique selection of books there. Chapin is a neat town and they have a couple of charming coffee spots to choose from. This looked good and was open Sunday, so I hit this one up and wasn't disappointed! I had the Peppermint Mocha and my wife had a regular mocha. Both were excellent! Just the right sweetness without being overly sweet! I also picked up and blueberry and apple turnover. Awesome! It's also a small bookstore with a decent selection for its size. Very nice friendly staff too! Excellent choice! read more

I can't personally speak for the coffee as I'm not a coffee drinker. However, my wife really enjoys the coffee and they have a wide selection of themed drinks that she also likes to choose from. I do like their variety of pastries and their hot chocolate is really good as well. I also like browsing through the book selections they have there. The atmosphere is really nice and is a great place overall to visit. read more

The place is gem in Chapin. So many awesome drinks to choose from. Yurtle the Turtle is a favorite, but cappuccino with a squirt of raspberry syrup is great also. Many unusual and unique drinks. Here for the weekend for a wedding and we found this cute local coffee shop! All the baristas were incredibly nice & patient as we looked through the menu. For COVID times, they require masks & social distancing when you wait in line which was a plus. I got the cold brew with almond & coconut milk as well as cinnamon flavor - absolutely delicious. My sister got the White Witch of Narnia which tasted like ice cream! My sister's boyfriend got Yertle the Turtle which he loved. We are even going back for a second day in the row while we are still in South Carolina! Definitely would recommend. read more

This cute coffee shop is amazing! Jerry, the owner, is super friendly and can make all sorts of specialized coffees. They have pastries that are mouth-watering. I love the book displays, and it's a wonderful place to work or chat with friends. They use real coffee mugs for those who are drinking it in the shop. Tastefully decorated, and he has book signings and other events worth catching. One of the only places around where you can bring your laptop and do some work "away from home" in a welcoming environment. A real treat! read more

This is a cute little coffee shop with a small bookstore. Note: this place carries my all time favorite book "the book thief" and the next on my list to read so I may be a bit more excited than necessary. However, it's bright and quiet. It is very clean and there are a few options of comfy chairs. There are regular chairs, sofas, and comfy "bucket type" seating. The whole staff was very kind and it was quick as well. I watched the owner walk around the corner and offer to help a woman get her stroller in the door. The menu has a fair amount of good choices. I got the white mocha, hot, which was wonderful. They've got some great events including a poetry night and they are having a midnight release of Harry Potter, which makes them pretty awesome in my book. read more
