The building is typical U.S. grade 1980's style, maybe a little bigger than others. There are nice work areas to prep packages, several self service stations, shipping supplies and gift cards for sale. The place is clean inside. Like most post offices, there was only one clerk working, so the line was long......and slow. Post offices boxes are around the corner separated into several bays. A cool antique scale is out on a table. There was plenty of parking in the dedicated lot.

Usually I am able to use the self serve kiosks but occasionally I have to wait in the line. And the line can be very long, and very slow. One serious issue with this location that the mailboxes in front with the drive thru access are often full. I've seen both mailboxes completely stuffed with mail sticking out of the slot. Once it was raining hard and I could see mail stuffed inside that was getting wet. I don't ever drop my mail in the outside boxes anymore because they definitely don't collect the mail often enough. So I park and go inside to mail my letters.

While our snack shop at work typically carries stamps, they've been out for a bit and I finally made my way over here. It's pretty convenient as it's adjacent to the Target in Nora. It's simple to park at Target and just wheel on over to this branch. Like most branches, this has a private parking lot for delivery trucks. While I've seldom seen this branch without a line, parking is for the most part plentiful and there are a handful of accessible parking spots with a sidewalk that is level to the ground. This is an older branch for sure, however, per most federal requirements it does meet ADA (though I'd say it's on the low-end of ADA). Doors are not automatic. There's a double-sided entry that takes you into an area with quite a few mailboxes (for rent) along with a self-service kiosk. If you turn right, you get another set of double-doors where you can get customer service (or some version of it) and two more self-serve kiosks. They also sell lots of shipping supplies in here. The self-serve kiosks work pretty well, though one of the three was out of order today. This branch does all the basics - shipping, mailing, passport photos, sales (stamps/shipping/etc.), money orders, etc. As several have noted, customer service here is hit-and-miss. It's occasional quite good. Occasionally not. The lobby is open 24-hours and, as noted, there's a self-serve kiosk in the lobby (though today it was the one not working). Love the self-serve kiosks. Everything else here is a mid-range experience and practically the definition of it. Oddly enough, though, this is still one of my preferred branches and there's no doubt I'd return on those rare occasions when I need traditional mail services.

It is a small post office located on north…read moreside of West 16th Street between Lafayette Road & Tibbs Ave. Even with a small foot print you have enough room to conduct business easily. Carrying in a large box takes a little guidance though. The lobby area is comfortable size for preparing forms and labels.

As I pulled into the parking lot of the Westfield Post Office, I observed plenty of parking with…read moredisabled parking. As I entered, I observed a button to automatically open the door to give people with disabilities easy access. I had to mail some documents and was unsure of how to send them. A postal associate walked the line assisting people in the line. I then paid for the package. I was finished with this transaction in minutes. I was pleased with the trip to the Post Office! Gang, this experience was rough. For starters, they were super busy with a line that barely moved…read more(both inside and at the sec checkout kiosk). Second, the staff didnt seem very proactive in problem solving some of the issues that arose during our visit. I stepped up to the sec service kiosk and one of the workers was operating it (not so self service). She quickly tapped in my order of 80 postcard stamps and after it started realized that it was individually printing each stamp (with no folding edges). The process of printing each stamp ended up taking 20 minutes!! Keep in mind, this is after I already waited 15 min in line to get to the kiosk. I asked if she had postcard books that she could swap out so we wouldn't have to wait and she laughed and shook it off - "you're going to be here for awhile!". At this point, I was stick after spending nearly $50 on the stamps. I asked another worker who walked by if she could help and she said I'd have to go inside and wait in line (which would require leaving the stamps as they're printing...). Overall, a frustrating experience. It seems that this location could use a little more coaching/improvements. I'll be going elsewhere in the future.

I often find when I go to the post office downtown the process is somewhat overwhelming and frantic. Located not too far from the International Marketplace neighborhood, you'll find plenty of parking here and lines that move fairly quickly. It's not the prettiest or most historical looking location but it will get the job done. They have a small selection of stamps, packaging items and greeting cards available for purchase.

It had at one point reached my hometown then it was routed back to the Indianapolis hub where it's stranded until today. I submitted an inquiry, and received an email suggesting that I submit a claim for it. Unfortunately they wanted me to provide proof of insurance, shipping documents, etc... all those are difficult to get from the ebay seller. I find the USPS completely incompetent for losing my package and now I'm having to jump through hoops to submit the claim. I will ship UPS or Fedex next time.
