I have had more trouble receiving my mail ! Never receiving from banking establishments especially! Missing new credit cards, checks, etc. Also, went to the office sent out two packages , one made it to its location, the other was completely lost until I put an investigation in! It only to go across state, I ended up in Tennessee! Why! Everything on the package was correct. Sad! read more

Imagine your child has cancer and you get medications shipped to your house. Now imagine twice in 1 week your mailman delivers your packages to the wrong house. I have no way to get into contact with this post office about seeing what the heck is going on with my local mailman because no one answers the phone. Thank god for honest neighbors who have brought my things over but TWICE in a week?! Can you not read numbers???? Clearly nothing will change until I go down there myself to say something since again no one answers the phone. But that's hard to do when you're sitting in the PICU with your child that has cancer! Although this post office is smaller, they are friendly and efficient. They have the everything setup for social distancing, with lines marked out. There is also a door that separates the lobby, only allowing 3 patrons at a time. Outside of the lobby there are flat rate boxes and envelopes, as well as a self mailing station and mail and package drop boxes. The lobby is open 24 hours, so if you simply need to drop off something, you don't need to worry about hours of operation. read more

Ugh...mailing a small package on a Saturday morning was literally painful. The employees who work on Saturdays are definitely not the A Team. The female worker wasted time giving her real estate agent daughter's contact info to a guy who was possibly moving to SCC. The guy helping me botched the process three times before someone else stepped in and helped him. The line grew longer and less patient as the employees' incompetence was on full display. Where is the supervision? Where is the training? And where is the customer service? His place totally sucks. read more

I have always had a great experience at the Sun City Post Office. The staff is always friendly and helpful. July 2, 21. I went in to get a new lock because my husband and I had lost our keys. The agent was so helpful and we joked about my husband losing everything. But of course, I lost mine too ! He took care of my needs and then referred me to the manager to check on a change of address and I had put in for an extended trip to CA. I left totally happy and felt all my needs had been addressed. A little later I realized I didn't have my wallet, the only place I used it was at the Post Office. I rushed back about an hour later. I asked and the agent who initially helped my said "who's forgetful" .... we all laughed! They went to get it and they had packaged it to be delivered to my mailbox Priority Mail, it would have been there the next day and the wonderful Mailwoman - Patti - would have given me to package. They constantly deliver my packages to the wrong location causing me to deal with this mess. I was left on hold for 1.5 hours to try and get assistance. When I drove to the location thinking that would be easier I was left to wait and wait to the point where the poor worker called 5 times for assistance. Still no package or updates 4 hours later. Worst location Next day update... This is the fourth package that has went missing in 6 months and they are never recovered nor call back. read more

Q. How can a USPS facility be worse than the one in Sun City? A. It can't. For two days now they have failed to deliver mail to The UPS Store in Apollo Beach. Yesterday the Sun City mail person showed up at 6:35pm after The UPS Store closed at 6:30pm. Today the mail person has not delivered Monday's mail or Tuesday's mail. Calls to the facility go unanswered. The mail person who picked up the mail today at The UPS Store said that the Sun City Postmaster decided to have the residential mail person also deliver to businesses in Apollo Beach. Not such a great idea it seems. So much for the letter carrier's creed of ``Neither snow nor rain nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.'' read more

I stopped in here and mailed some letters, so not too much excitement, but overall the place was clean, and the line was short when I was there. So all seemed good at this location. It is a bit hidden behind some other businesses in a strip mall, so although plenty of parking and easy access, it can be a bit tricky to find. The lobby is open 24/7 so you can check your box anytime. read more

Good luck getting your outgoing mail picked up. Today wasn't the first time and I'm sure it won't be the last time. I'm sick of it. I tried to file a complaint online and by calling. They defeat you by redirecting you to irrelevant pages and phone menus. I wish I could fire these incompetent slackers but I'm stuck with them. read more

I'd give negative stars if I could. I am CONSTANTLY getting mail for others and my mail is delivered to others at least three times per week. This most recent incident was the icing on the cake... I ordered a package priority shipping. Signature required. The mail delivery person placed the Signature Required slip in the locked mail box. I reschedule the delivery for today.... Guess what is in my locked mail box, the "sorry we missed you, you need to sign this to get your package" Called and waited over 35 mins to speak with someone. The man that FINALLY answered told me I'd have to call back tomorrow and then hung up. I may get a PO Box in another town or request delivery from the moon... it certainly wouldn't take as long to get my mail. So over this mail man and his stupid jeep. read more

I scheduled a pickup and no one came to get my package!! I tried to call the post office and they wouldn't answer the phone. I had to submit a complaint on the carrier and had to wait on hold for two hours to do so! read more

I received a package from the USPS on my front porch on November 30, 2021. It had a large gash 8 inches long cut clear through the box. There was a very noticeable red sticker on the box from the sender that read FRAGILE. There was no note of any kind on the box from the Post Office acknowledging the obvious damage to this box. I saw the postal worker several houses away and walked over with the box and handed it to him saying the condition of this box was unacceptable and I would not accept the box. I told him I expected someone from the post office to call me about the box. I then tried calling the post office at 813-634-1403. I called several times until it stopped ringing and went dead. These were about 3-4 minute calls of ringing and no one answering and no way to leave a message. This is pathetic, irresponsible, unethical behavior by a government agency that gets money from tax payers and then ignores its basic responsibilities. read more

Recently had a family member mail me a padded envelope from the Detroit, MI area to Sun CIty Center, FL. It was mailed priority. The postal service says priority mail items should be delivered in two to three days, It finally arrived 21 days, yes 21 days later. What a joke priority mail is. I could have walked in that distance faster. read more
