If I could give this place negative stars I would. I've been to the Postal Annex a handful of times, mostly to drop off prepaid packages (which they seem to despise since they can't charge you an arm and a leg accept) and each time the owners are rude and dismissive when they actually speak to you. I get the feeling that they are just disgusted and inconvenienced with the fact that they have to work for a living, especially in service to those they deem lesser beings than themselves. They charge for every damn thing they can get away with. Come in without your boxes taped and ready to go? God have mercy on your soul. I'm going to drive a little farther and go to Pony Express and the UPS store in Mill Creek. The rudeness unprofessionalism is uncalled for, and is absolutely not worth the convenience. I will be making a complaint to corporate also. The Terror Twins need to find a new line of work. read more

The owners of this Postal Annex are extremely helpful and friendly. I had a big batch of Christmas presents to ship and they were very patient. It's nice to not have to go to a busy post office and deal with a crowd. read more

Been here a few times and I keep thinking it may get better, but Rob, one of the owners, is the grouchiest, rudest guy old man. Thought the first time I just caught him on a bad day, but clearly not the case. That, coupled with the fact that this little set up is WAY overpriced will make me steer clear. Even waiting in the long lines at the Mill Creek post office is better than dealing with this joke of a place. Terrible. read more

Went to make copies, thought I'd give them a try. Black and whites were ineligible, they must be using "draft" setting to save money. Horrible. Made some color copies, they came back on see-thru paper. Still have the nice glossy colored copies I made at UPS store on 164th a few weeks ago to compare. Sad copies, how can they stay in the copy business? My bill came to $14, robbery. All the copies I had made were twice as expensive as Staples or UPS. Who charges $.20 a copy for over 45 b&w? Lesson learned, will never return. read more

I am so sure why this Postal Annex gets only 2.5 stars. I read the one posted by Gabe M and I am not sure what his education has to do with his credibility as I have met many an educated person who really has little in the way or common sense or courtesy but I digress. I am also assuming that Jessica M. and Gabe M. are related. Anyway, I have been a customer at Postal Annex for the better part of five years. I have gone there for all types of things; passport photos, shipping, notary and so on. I have had nothing but excellent help. What I have observed in all of my time there is that there are many customers who enter the store and believe that they and/or their needs take priority over anyone else in the store. There are times when Postal Annex is very busy and many of the people in there have some complex issues with shipping, or worse yet, notary issues that pertain to legal issues.These take time and need to be done correctly. When other customers are trying to cut in line, ask questions when others need to have service, this is when the Postal Annex people let the others know that they are helping PEOPLE AHEAD OF THEM! Show some respect for the other customers people. There are lines all over the world; Disneyland, movie theaters, doctor's offices...get used to it. I have no doubt that if you show some respect to the people working behind the counter, they will return the favor. If we need to list our credentials, I have a Bachelor of Arts, and MPA, and 37 years of law enforcement experience with several of those years in the area of supervision and management. I know rude behavior. It was the driving force with many of the people with whom I dealt. And I have never seen it in Rob and Caroline at the Postal Annex, so it makes me wonder about all the people who post the bad reviews... read more

Went to check my new mailbox for the first time today. Place was closed but the guy was changing lightbulbs. My key wouldn't work, and after a ton of giggling it finally opened. Then the key couldn't be removed from the lock. He was kinda rude about it and basically blamed me for the fact that they had crappy keys/locks and that they hadn't checked them to make sure they work properly. Yeah, it's cheap..but I'm not sure it's worth it..i'll probably take my business elsewhere. read more

I guess I should have checked the other reviews before using this store. Everything I just read in other reviews about the people at Postal Annex being rude and unhelpful is true. I needed to return a package to a company via FedEx. Long story short, after dropping off the package at Postal Annex, I learned that there was an issue with the shipping label--the company to which I was returning the package accidentally canceled the shipping label and then issued me a new one. I went back to the Postal Annex while they still had the package so that I could put a new shipping label on it and they (a very grumpy woman and the owner, Rob) refused to be of any assistance at all. Rob refused to release the package back to me (though I had the original shipping receipt). FedEx called him three times on my behalf trying to get him to release the package. I was told by FedEx that he yelled at them and hung up on them. Rob stated over and over again that he doesn't make money off of shipping packages and so refused to be even the slightest bit helpful and told me I was wasting his time. I understood that it was an unusual situation and that I was inconveniencing him; however, my small issue could have been resolved in mere moments but Rob's refusal to help turned the issue into a confusing debacle. Unfortunately, Rob appears to be a bitter man who owns a sad, unprofitable company. I think he must be burnt out. He's uninterested in helping anyone but himself. I am new to this place and the company completely. Thought I give it a try since I buy grocery near by. As mentioned in other customer reviews i see, the vibe here is really; 'why are you here?' kind of a feeling the couple of times I was there. However this does not shrug me since people are different, I thought. I guess my gut feeling was realized when recently I question why I had to pay $1.50 for a receipt of my, prepaid, UPS drop off. I did not have to before. The old, half gray hair lady, said that they are losing money by printing the receipt and that this 'free' practice is not acceptable anymore these days due to rising cost. I informed her that she will be losing me as a customer if that is the case. Her response was another question: 'have you paid us anything?' My response was another question: 'Don't UPS pay you for the drop off?' Her final response was 'No'. Really? This place is taking drop off and handling it for free, and their income is on the optional $1.50 for a receipt or free without receipt? What a bunch of bull. Her tone was not rude, but her response and question was disrespectful and get the F out attitude. Will never go back or recommend anyone for any service! read more
