I needed to get my fingerprinting done and was referred to this location. Its in the shopping plaza with a bunch of other stores like Carter's, Modo Hawaii and right next to Target. They are limiting customers inside to 4 and have a protective screen set up between the customers and the employees. While I was there, 3 other customers were ahead of me and each one was being tended to by the other 3 employees working. Margarita is the woman who helped me with the fingerprinting and she is probably the reason I was referred to this location- she is absolutely wonderful and so patient! For some reason, my fingerprints would not be recognized on the scanner no many how many times I pressed down or rolled my fingers back and forth, but she was persistent and had me try multiple ways. In the end, we were finally able to get the prints needed and I'm so grateful for the time she spent trying to get it right! The space itself is very neat and organized. This place is just what I needed! I needed to get a document notarized and wanted to do it in the safest way possible, given the ongoing pandemic. I called and spoke with Margherita and she mentioned that they are able to do curbside notarizing. I drove over, and it was super easy! Margherita was friendly and professional. She asked me to bring my own pen so I can sign the notary book (she would offer one of hers if I didn't have one of my own), and it was $12. I rolled down my window, and voila! In all honesty, these kind of stores are dime a dozen. However this PostalAnnex+ store is weirdly different ... and in a good way too. I was looking to take some passport photos to renew my passport. Normally that would be an easy thing provided by store and it is. First thing you see is when you enter the store is a mess of boxes and people. I was surprised that they were on a first name with a few of the customers. After taking the photos, they even offered to help me fill out the form, cut a money order, and mail the application to the State Department. I was surprised at the offer and took them up on it. After a few minutes of work, it was all done and the application was in the mail. All this and helping other with mailing packages and renting out mail boxes. I want to first say that if there were any reviews before this one they were false. Marisa Rubio used my account while she and her Father Alfred Rubio were involved in mail fraud. The owner Margariete ( she has an accent) held my mail aside. She gave my mail to a female named Sally on a regular basis. I was completely unaware of this that this was going on. She added (Marisa ) to my card. I was missing mail, and mail was re-sealed sometimes. I missed main events , for instance, my Niece's Graduation, my other Nieces Baby Shower. This was in Florida, There was a big Family reunion. I missed out on Birthday cards, that had Gift Cards My bills became delinquent. They took IRS paperwork , and important College Grant money from my Box while I attended West Valley College. Marariete held a check under her register. I would still go in to get stamps and envelopes, and that is when Margariete said she had a check for me, but my Box was closed. She, "said so she sent it back" She lifted up her register that was in front of her a minute later, and gave me my check that was not in an envelope. I was happy to receive a check, and I said so, then I left the store. I have a Civil Rights case against Postal Annex now. I am also writing Consumer Affairs. Also, My family and friends wondered why I never said thank you , or acknowledged anything they sent. This may have happened to you too. It's worth while to look into. read more

Awesome experience. I went in for notary service and booked an appointment online to make sure the notary person would be there. The line was out the door when I got there, pretty common because people tend to stand 6ft apart inside. There were three employees working the front- I didn't have to wait too long in the line before I was directed to the notary staff member. The group before me was international- working with a translator and with international paperwork. I was very impressed with how much effort Andres put into making sure his notary services were perfect. Triple checking the paperwork it felt like he had a better understanding of what was required than the group. He took as much care with my common request as he did with the international papers. This place is pretty close to my house, I have shipped a cellphone to FL with them and used them for various other shipping things. The employees are human and I enjoyed their conversations as well. This was a top experience though and I wanted to share it. read more

Everyone here has been very nice and helpful. I never mail out or had to pick up packages because they're usually emailed or shipped directly to my house. This year because of work, I had to start mailing out packages. They get me in and out with no issue and helped me with whatever problem I had. I went in to buy some stamps. Got back to work only to be told I bought the wrong stamps. THERE'S DIFFERENT KINDS??? Margherita not only got back to me quickly on a Sunday, she had the best price and there was no extra cost for the witness signatures like others had quoted me. I went in on a Monday afternoon and got everything taken care of very efficiently. While there, the shop was was very busy and there seemed to be a lot of folks that were on a first name basis with her. I came here to get ink fingerprinting during COVID to renew a healthcare license. I was initially worried about coming here since the licensing requirement stated you need a law enforcement agency person to perform it. I called beforehand and was told they would be able to do it. When I came the PostalAnnex, I was helped very quickly! They were very professional and knew exactly what to do for fingerprinting. They even do a trial run to show you how much pressure to use. This was very reassuring since I've had fingerprint cards get rejected in the past. They recommend using both cards in case one set of prints don't come out as well. I was at first skeptical of PostalAnnex+ because their quotes were lower than any of the other places I looked at. My experience was completely positive! Went here to do the live scan and ink fingerprinting. The guy who assisted me was very kind and patient. He explained what to expect and guided me to have good fingerprint results. Paid $30 for ink fingerprinting including the card while live scan was $74 including DOJ/license fee. Before I went here, I also messaged them on Yelp and they were very responsive. Wonderful service by Magherita! I went in to get live scan fingerprint after getting my fingerprints rejected twice from the postal annex in downtown San Jose. The staff at downtown sj was very rude and didn't take the time to do my fingerprinting properly and was more expensive than this postal annex. Magherita offered great customer service and even apologized for me having to get my fingerprints redone even though it wasn't her fault. She was very thorough with each fingerprint and the fingerprints got approved. They even have corn huskers lotion to apply if your hands are dry like mine. -Location: It's located in a new plaza adjacent to Target. -Price: This place definitely offers a very affordable price when compared to other businesses for blue fingerprint cards (Form FD-258); $15/card. -Customer Service: Not sure if Thomas was trying to be funny but I don't think I know you well enough for you to joke about potentially using my SSN # or fingerprints... But either way, he was patient enough to redo my fingerprint card when he realized one of the prints didn't come out clear enough. However, I realized when I got home the form said to print information ONLY in black ink, but he used blue ink on some parts of the form. If I was submitting this form to a law enforcement position, my card would probably be declined. Since that isn't the case, hopefully, my organization will let it slide. TL;DR: Best prices for your blue fingerprint cards. Just bring yourself and your Driver's License, and Thomas will roll you away! read more
