Really quick and smooth and I didn't have to worry about filling in or submitting stuff wrong because they checked over everything for me. Call ahead for photo or notary though only specific people do it and if they're not there you can't get it done. read more

Very rude customer service and false advertising. We went here cause we needed passport pictures. It said online and at the front of the store we can do it here. We went inside and asked and lady said "we don't do that here" and to go to CVS. I asked why don't you do it here and she said very loudly and rude "CAMERA NOT WORKING". That's when I told her she should remove the sign in front. My recommendation is to not go here ever. Lady was rude. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Reply: It's clear that the owner is not reading what I posted, and clearly wasn't there. Because I never asked for an application for a new passport, I went in respectfully and asked for passport pictures, and I got a negative response immediately. She respectfully could have told me that the camera wasn't working at the moment instead of yelling it to me. The owner Trinity is not holding herself accountable. Instead she is lying and put a twist to my story. I hope this business does better soon, because given the reviews that I am seeing, everyone has had a negative experience here. read more

Do not use this location. It's a third-party shipping center, so packages must be scanned to appear in the FedEx or UPS system. In February and March, high-value packages were dropped off here and never scanned--there's no record of them ever entering the FedEx or UPS network. They appear to scan the packages in front of you, but the tracking numbers never show any activity. When multiple packages are dropped off at once, it seems they intentionally skip scanning some--making it harder to notice at the time when they give you a receipt. They then place the blame on the carriers when a package goes missing. I'm planning to file a police report. I strongly recommend avoiding this location. read more

I was at this location many times because of convenience. Always the same two Asian women with an attitude that you owe them something... and a LOT of something. The attitude got nastier over time to the point that I never want to come back! I cringe even passing by that place when I go to CVS... Ugh! And for passport photos go to CVS next door, it is cheaper and the guys there are always nice! I just wish they did accept packages like some other CVS stores do. Then I would have never stepped into this postal annex after the first experience. But they finally got to me with their nasty attitude, so forget the convenience! If you read the owner's responses to bad reviews you can see the attitude for yourself before you even go there. And you can definitely see the trend in bad reviews. I don't know how they got any 5* reviews at all... hmm... And reading the other reviews now I feel very lucky that all of my my packages made it to their destination when they were handled by those two! read more

The door was locked even though it was past opening time and the "OPEN" sign was lit up. The lady inside saw me and took her time tidying up the store and opening. There was no apology for the tardiness or for the subsequent information that everything I had waited for was inevitably not available. It would have saved both of us time if that OPEN sign had been accurate, or if the worker had just come to the door for a quick word instead of going through all the motions. read more

DO NOT GO THERE!! THIEVES!!! I had to ship a designer bag via fedex to return it. I came to the postal annex with the return label, but had to buy a box from them to put the bag in. The lady who helped me, Lina, sold me the box and we taped the box shut. I handed her the printed shipping label and asked her for a receipt and she said she doesn't give receipts, I just had to follow the tracking number on my fedex label. I stupidly accepted this answer and left. A few days later I checked the tracking and of course FedEx indicates the label was never used and as such this shipment never existed. I drove back to the postal annex, confronted Lina who just said she recognized me, and she is thinks the package was taken by FedEx so can't help me because they are not responsible. Wtf. FedEx says she should have scanned the label immediately after receiving it and never did. She most likely took the bag for her. I emailed the owner and never heard back (so if you are the owner, please contact me!). I am now going to go to the police. They have surveillance cameras in their store and can see me drop off the package. I feel dumb that I didn't insist on getting a receipt, but never would I have thought I would get this stolen. read more

This is the worst PostalAnnex I have ever used. The story is I was using them as my virtual mailbox, and they lost my returned package 2 times. The Lady there is not really in a good mood or attitude, I am not sure if she is an owner that's why she can treat her customers like that. If you don't like your customer, please go home and don't stay there, remember to hire the one who knows how to be nice. Because of those reasons, I decided to terminate my virtual mailbox with them and rent the mailbox at another location of PostalAnnex. If you are going to use any service from them, I recommend driving further to another PostalAnnex, please never consider this store until they are well-trained to provide good customer service". read more

Why's this place recommended for passport photos? I came in for passport photos, the staff was cold and didn't smile. After the photo was taken, customers don't get a chance to review at all. They also don't give or sell your digital photos. The photos came out bad, and they did not want to do anything about. Avoid this place. read more

The lady who helped us was not very nice. I asked if I could take a look at the passport photo she just took and it was a hard no. Getting a digital version is also a hard no. We had no chance of checking whether the photo looks satisfactory. She just printed two photos and asked us to pay. We felt very rushed and not satisfied with the photos. That was not the case, I went in today and the same lady was rude to me. I read some of the reviews and a lot of people feel the same. I used a different post office before that unfortunately closed down. Switched to this one over a year ago & very disappointed with services and reliability ! Most recent example : overnight FedEx package has been delivered & signed by T Trinity yesterday at 12 pm. I did not get notification . Went to check my mail box today ( Sunday ) - nothing in it!! I took two new IPhones here for them to pack and ship to Arizona. When the package arrived, the phones were not in the package. The only people who knew what was in the package was myself and the clerks at PostalAnnex. Funny thing is the did not ask if I wanted to insure the package when they sent it. So either they stole the phones (worth $1600) or somehow someone at UPS figured out what was in the package, opened it up, stole the phones, resealed the package and delivered it. PostalAnnex filed a claim with UPS and I have never heard anything from them again. PostalAnnex took no responsibility for the stolen phones, offered me no reimbursement of any kind and simple said that it wasn't their responsibility once they left their store. I don't know who stole the phones but I would never ever ship anything from this store again. read more

I came to the PostakAnnex at Mountain View for a Passport photo (in Taiwan phone size requirement - just an FYI - same as South Korea size of 35mm x 45mm) The staff is very professional and very good on giving direction on the posture, micro adjustment and ensuring you have the best picture showing on the identification for the next 10-year :) The whole process took less than 10 minutes. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. She even handed me free USPS envelopes for me to mail out the applications. I would recommend this service! read more

UPDATE: Care package was sent back to sender. My mother-in-law should get a refund. Smh. Our care package is lost in the Italian postal system because the person who helped my mother-in-law send it had no clue what she was doing. We are stationed at the naval base in Italy and have an FPO address. They should know that is domestic shipping. Instead, they charged her for international shipping, way more than she should have paid. We still do not have our care package. We don't know if we will ever get it. read more

Worst. Notary. Ever. Went in to get my Medical Durable Power forms signed and Trinity who is notary/owner said she needed to know why I was having these signed. Myself being a physician thought it was odd. I said I was having surgery. She then asked me what type of surgery I was having- I told her that was private information. She then refused to sign the papers. She does not need to know why I was having these forms signed- it is for ALL situations. She should not be a notary. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR PRIVACY. And I went to the #1 rated notary who took. care of me without requiring me to disclose private information. Trinity is a piece of work. She should stick to packages. Her response is disingenuous. Three times she asked me what type of surgery is was having. Three times I refused. I told her she did even need to know I was having surgery. I am filing a complaint with the State of California. Wonderful service. I had to re-apply for a passport and was totally confused with the document I needed. They took care of the picture (offered couple option and to take it again if I didn't like it), double checked that everything was done and signed properly, took care of sending the whole thing. My wife and I came here to get passport photos because the CVS next door was having technical difficulties. They told us it was $14 ($13.95 or whatever) for two photos. We said that we needed four photos each (rather than the usual two) and asked how much that is. They said it's the same price. We double-checked that and went ahead and had our photos taken. When it was time to pay, they wanted $56. That is far too expensive! (If I crop the photos myself, I can do this at CVS for under $1.) We reminded them that we had explicitly asked what the price was for four photos, but they denied this even though the conversation had only been 10 minutes earlier. We felt lied to. Instead of trying to resolve this, the shopkeeper rudely discarded half the photos and offered us two photos each for $28. This is useless to us, as we need four identical photos. At this point, we decided to walk out rather than waste more time. We will go to the CVS next door once their machine is working again. read more

Lost mails and irresponsible owner. I rented a mail box in this place since middle of this year and have never received any mails since then. When I was comparing different mailbox rentals, the owner was trying to lure business by saying "You don't need to put the word 'mail box' as in other places, you can just put 'Ste C xxx' (xxx is the mailbox number) and that will make your business look more professional". I went there 3 times inquiring about the lost mails, the owner said it's either the post office's fault or the sender didn't write the correct address as she suggested. I confirmed the address again with her and mailed a post card to myself putting in the "correct address" with "Ste C xxx" as she suggested. One week later the mailbox is still empty (we all know that within the same state, it takes only 3 days for the post office to deliver). I talked to the owner again about the situation and her response was there was nothing she can do about it and there would be no refund if I canceled the contract. I am going to make another mail next week with a certified mail this time and get more information from the post office. If the post office confirmed this mailbox rental is undeliverable and she refused to refund, I will report the incidence to Better Business Bureau. read more

Getting passport photos taken is a risky thing. How good they are really depends on the vendor you use. PostalAnnex did an excellent job. The lighting was just right and the staff who performed the task actually paid attention to what she was doing (unlike thee DMV photo taker). read more

My wife got a passport photo here that is not usable. When I went back to show the photo to the store, they were very argumentative and blamed the customer. They claimed to have taken extra photos, but could not show me any additional photos taken. Bottom line is product output is not usable. We will have to go take the photos again somewhere else. Buyer beware - store staff angry and push their view, not interested in the customer feedback in this case. Interested in proving they are right. read more
