I know I'm not the only one that has been frequenting postal shops and the post office over the last 18 months. The postal annex is very convenient for me to drop by on my Target run to drop off packages. They will help print out labels for the charge of .25. They also tape up your package for shipping with no cost. They service for USPS, FedEx, UPS and other large providers. I've shipped via USPS and FedEx where they easily gave me different price quotes based on shipping time. The team members are always friendly and easy to work with. It was difficult to get an answer from them when I asked for a status update on the whereabouts of my passport renewal. One guy even hung up on me. They just kept saying to check the tracking number and I had and I told them it looks like it hasn't moved from Texas in the two months since I first mailed it out. They are the best! They are super helpful, will compare shipping rates, make passport photos, notary services etc. We got passport photos for our sons here when they were just a few weeks old. It's complicated to get a baby to lie still, open their eyes, look into the camera... The owner took her time and many photos to find one that satisfied requirements. We needed US and foreign passport photo measurements and they can look up the requirements for different countries. We do all our shipping, notary, and passport photos here. read more

I have been a Postal Annex customer in other locations here in the Bay Area, but have never had the personal service at the level provided by this team!! One example that I can share is that I had a critical Certified Mail letter that had to go out one day recently, and I missed their cutoff time for mail pickup! In fact, it was late in the afternoon and it was 15 minutes before the nearest P.O. Cutoff time. Margherita's business partner quickly processed my letter on their system and ran out the door ahead of me to make a special trip to the Post Office to drop off my Certified Letter!! I came here for a live scan fingerprinting service today and I am very pleased with the overall experience that transpired, which is my reason for writing this positive review. I checked on yelp for a reputable and high rated shop that offered live scan fingerprinting and fortunately I found PostalAnnex located off of El Camino Real and Scott Blvd in Santa Clara. The whole process was under 15 minutes and it's just that much more valuable when you have pleasant and helpful staff members providing excellent customer service to you. The live scan fee was $25 plus DOJ license fee was another $25. It was a bit of a commute for me but I'd rather make the further trip to have a pleasant experience while getting the job done than going to a poorly rated shop located next to my house any day. read more

I use this mail center via iPostal1 and their service is so bad so I am canceling my subscription. They just do not work. Every simple request takes them forever to compete. Very expensive overnight mail forwarding takes a week plus a bunch of phone calls, support chats and opened tickets. Every single time! I am staying in a hotel for a week and I order overnight for $50-$100 for a few envelopes just because it takes them so much time to handle the forwarding so only overnight fits the timeframe of a week. Can you imagine? And still on Wednesday I start worrying about my overnight (haha) requested on Sunday as it is still pending so I start calling asking to speed it up so maybe they will ship it on Thursday or Friday so I can maybe receive it upon checking out of the hotel I stayed at for a week. I have no idea why simple postal operations like putting a couple of envelopes in a bigger one need 3+ days for a specialized mail center, maybe they are lazy, maybe they just don't care about their customers. I do not recommend this mail center as your home office to anyone unless you want a very slow home office. read more

I went in to send an envelope by regular mail and cost was under $2. As I held out my phone to pay electronically she said they don't have Apple pay. Okay, in this pandemic I don't carry cash so I pull out my credit card and she tells me that they have a minimum credit payment of $3. She offered stamps or a pen that I didn't want or need. I ended up having to buy something because I needed the mail to go out ASAP. Next time I will take my chances at the post office. So just be aware to bring cash or make sure.your mail costs more than $3 read more

I came to PostalAnnex on El Camino for ink fingerprinting and notary. Because of my old age and frequent use of hand sanitizer, it has been difficult to get distinct fingerprinting. Andres was so patient and understanding that he guided me to do the fingerprints. without counting the time. I've never seen such patience and helpfulness in a young man before. Also, he's very professional and knows his notary job. The lady owner was very helpful too.Though I used up Andres' time, causing a number of customers to queue up. she didn't hurry us and took to helping other customers herself. They changed very reasonable prices. They really deliver what they have professed: helping customers in a professional way. I cannot thank Margherita enough. She saved the day! I was at the FedEx Office location on El Camino where I needed to fax 40 pages to the EDD (California Unemployment Department). As soon as I got to the fax machine, I saw that it was almost $2.50 per page! I went to the Postal Annex and asked Margherita how much it would cost to fax 40 pages. She asked me if I was faxing to the EDD and I said yes. She said that in these tough times, her location is faxing to the EDD for free to help folks out. Wow! I was so thankful. She proceeded to fax my 40 pages for me, and did not charge a dime! I have found a place to go to for all my office/postage needs. Thank you Margherita! I didn't get the representatives name but I heard someone call him Robert (not sure if that's his name though) anyhow he wasn't very pleasant. His customer service skills were very poor. We went first thing when they opened on a Saturday and fortunately they weren't busy.
