I found another company that charges a lot less for the same service. When I told them this they said they will match the price. That upset me even more. If they were willing to lower their price now why did they not lower it before? Does that mean I was over-charged all along? Should I be asking for a refund for all the years we were "over-charged"? A few weeks after I cancelled I got a bill for around $17. I called them and asked them what it was for. They said it was for picking up the cart. After I ranted at them for not informing me at the time of cancellation about this fee they removed it. I am very disappointed at Republic for their rates. I do not understand how they could charge so much ($100) when other companies with the same service charge much less.

When you cancel your service, you cannot do it online, you have to call them. That is so they can try to talk you into keeping your service. When I made my call, between being on hold, talking to two different people, and getting disconnected, having to redial, my process took a total of 25 minutes. I was told I'd be charged $40 for the pick up of the trashcan! I thought that was ridiculous. My service was all paid up for the usage at the time I cancelled. I received a bill for the next three months of service. I called them again, and I was told I would have to pay the three months and then get reimbursed!! I told the rep how can I trust you to give me my money back, you still haven't picked up your trashcan. After three calls, and 28 days the trashcan is still sitting here! Please save yourself some grief and choose another service.

Words cannot describe what poor service this company provides. After weeks of calling they finally decided to provide a quote. When I received the quote it stated I had to put $60,000 down so the company could purchase the pumps and materials needed to fix the units. I thought this was reasonable and provided a check in hopes to spark the company to begin moving on the process. Weeks again passed and I had to call again to ask for an update and was told the person I needed to speak to was on vacation and I would receive a call the following Monday. The following week passed and I never received a call. I called to ask for an update and was told no updates were available at this time. I'm now in the process of contacting the president of the company to hopefully achieve resolve of getting the units installed. Also, the person who provided a 5 star rating in the previous review is an employee of the company (Keith Bailey) and has been my contact through this process. They spill garbage often and 2 weeks ago there was a huge pile of excrement at the end of our driveway - there was garbage embedded in this.
