She is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, and naturally wonderful with newborns. Not only did our daughter thrive under her care, but my husband and I were finally able to get much needed rest and feel more confident as parents. Jacqui also taught us so much along the way and always made us feel supported, never judged. She was kind, caring, and always made us feel supported. She truly felt like the big sister I needed during such an important time. The only downside of my experience was the lactation support. I only attended two sessions because, unfortunately, they were very stressful. During the first visit, the lactation consultant arrived late, seemed rushed, and left me with a few nipple shields that ultimately didn't work well for me. At the end, I didn't end up using them because they weren't helpful. The second session felt very similar. It also felt rushed and stressful, and my baby became stressed as well. Because of those experiences, I decided not to continue with the lactation sessions. Overall, I'm very grateful for Katie's support, and she made a huge positive difference during our postpartum journey.

I was dealing with blood blisters, a poor latch, doubts and fears about supply, and a baby that was temporarily not gaining enough weight. As a first-time mom, it was extremely stressful, and there were many tears. However, Juliana's visits always left me feeling more informed, reassured, and capable. We also did a weighted feed during every visit, which confirmed that my baby was indeed getting enough to eat. I still remember the relief I felt when I learned that. Juliana is a big reason why I decided to stay the course with breastfeeding. (Thank goodness, because now I LOVE it.) My insurance covered the cost of the visits, so I just paid the $60 travel fee. I also attended her breastfeeding class with my husband before giving birth. This was super helpful, but I recommend taking the class within 1 month of your due date. We took it a bit too early in my pregnancy, and forgot a couple things by the time I gave birth. Overall, I would highly recommend booking a lactation consultation with Juliana if you're in need of support!

I was nearly 3 months postpartum, and even though I was past the early days, I still found myself second-guessing things and often felt like I didn't fully know what I was doing. Reaching out to them was one of the best choices I made. The visit was covered by my insurance, aside from a small travel fee, and it was absolutely worth it for the individualized care and peace of mind that Vicky and Golnar gave me. As a new mom who felt anxious about traveling with my baby, having a compassionate and knowledgeable lactation consultant come to my home made all the difference. She made me feel seen, heard, and supported without any judgment. She took her time explaining things in a way that was clear and reassuring. I left the visit with practical tools, a better understanding of what was going on, and, most importantly, a renewed sense of confidence in myself. If you're struggling, even a few months in, it is not too late to ask for help. This visit gave me exactly what I needed, and I can't recommend San Diego Breastfeeding Center enough. I look forward to continuing to work with them!

Seriously, I was at the point where it was pay for support or quit breastfeeding (which wasnt really an option as my daughter hates bottles and screams the house down!). When my daughter was screaming, getting gassy, having problems latching and I was in such pain it was time to call in the expert! I had spoken to two doctors and a number of lactation consultants at breastfeeding support groups and what kept coming up was "thrush" or poor latch. Sarah came to my house, watched how I fed my daughter, helped with some positioning and also checked how I pumped and my daughter's mouth. It was found that my daughter had a tongue tie (which had not been diagnosed by anyone previously...) and could easily be rectified. Additionally it was confirmed by Sarah that I was also experiencing Raynaud's. Sure enough we took my daughter to the doctor and she had the tongue tie operation and since then almost all of the problems have been solved. I really was at my wits end. Sarah is professional but friendly and is also very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend her services to anyone who is having any problem with breastfeeding. Sarah regularly contacts me for updates and provides information wherever needed. Amazing service which ensured we could continue feeding!
