The vibes in there are great. We got our food in less than 8 minutes, just like the sign said. The food was pretty good, I got the Avocado Turkey, but the toppings were not evenly distributed, and not enough of them. Definitely a different style of sub than, say, Jimmy John's, but still good! read more

This place is the same concept as a which which sandwich shop. You order at the county and then get the food at the end of the counter. The sandwiches were good even though they were not made exactly as we ordered them. Mustard left off one and the other had onions even though I asked them to be left off. The young crew here is to busy yapping with each other to pay close attention and to clean the restaurant. The bathrooms surprisingly clean but the dining room was not . We found only one clean table and it had crumbs. The girl at the checkout was also rude in the way she thrust her hand out for my credit card and left her hand in the air waiting for this older person to give it to her. I'm bit of and arse my self so I slowed my role in presence of her rudeness. For future reference, wait till I offer the payment and don't act like you are too busy to be polite. read more

The soup is really good, lots of unique choices. The sandwiches are good, the normal sandwich shop type subs, but they are toasted. The store did mildly smelled like weed, and the bathrooms did too. I go here often and I'd recommend if you're in the area. read more

Quick and easy place to stop by for their delicious sandwiches that are made to order and tailored to you based off of your preference for their crusty bread (white or wheat) and condiments (e.g., mustard, tomatoes, pickles, etc.). Stopped in for a quick lunch bite. The set up to order is a little wonky but once you do it one time you will be good to go. I wasn't sure what potbelly would actually be about but as you enter there is a giant potbelly stove. I was thinking like pig themed. I had the pulled pork sandwich and the vegetable soup. The sandwich was ok. The soup was a little bland but overall decent. They had chili and I almost got that and I wish I had. The dining room was really clean and the staff was friendly. I would stop by again for a quick sandwich. The parking lot, as with most businesses on Fargo is oddly laid out. You can enter if you pass the establishment and turn down the side road then I to the parking lot and to exit you can't turn left it's a right turn only. read more

I love the Big Italian but almost always the sandwich I get is not what I ordered. Perhaps 1 out of every 4 sandwiches is correctly made. Its understandable that it happens occasionally but when its more likely to get the wrong order than right it gets annoying. This place is not good at all. There is not at all a variety to choose from and the peppers that they put on my sandwich were sweet. I assumed the hot sauce would be hot but it was sweet and gross. It was so gross I couldn't even eat my sandwich and I had to waste $5 on a nasty sandwich. I'm never going here again. This place is overpriced and there is no variety. The best sandwich shop by far in Fargo! I got the Italian and it was super delicious. It tasted almost like a Jersey sub. They even put mortadella on it. You also have the option of getting it on a thin roll if you wanna cut out all those extra carbs and calories. I also got the vanilla milkshake. I could tell this was made with real icecream. The subs here are really good. No doubt about it. Much better than your typical Subway or Jimmy John's style sub. The bread is soft and fresh, service is nice, and you can find a musician playing for entertainment from time to time. My absolute favorite is the smoked ham WITH BACON! They toast the sub and the smell of the bacon fills the place up. I see peoples mouths salivating when they cook this up for me because the bacon smell is intoxicating. Ham and bacon. Enough said.. He said: I ordered the Mediterranean sandwich on a multigrain bread. I asked for avocado on the side without knowing the sandwiches are placed into a bag at the end of condiments selection. So since there is no plate in an in-house order, no avocado. Wasn't charged for it, they just ignored it. The sandwiches are served heated in a typical sandwich oven. (Not really the best choice for a Greek oriented sandwich, but I'll know for next time). Price was a smidgen high but I'm ok with that as I think the ingredients were of good quality. There is no soda fountain so it's drinks from the cooler. The sandwich was ok but nothing spectacular. There was a young man playing a guitar and singing and he was doing a great job. I love there soup and sandwiches but tonight I had the worst service, they asked me multiple times what my order was, No one in the restaurant and it took 4 people 15 min to get our food. When they went to ring it they asked me what I had again and then proceeded to screw up the bill. I waited for the sandwiches and they told me they were on the counter and sent me back to grab them. I wish I could give a review on the food however I have not been given the opportunity. Lunch at my place of employment was going to be ordered from potbelly. When potbelly was called to order at about 930 am, we were told that they were short staffed and they would not serve us. A manager was asked for and we got someone who was "as close to a manager as we would get". This person also told us that lunch from them would not be happening. It's important to note that we called well in advance of our lunch time. It's also important to note that we were not offered a compromise in time, i.e. Food not ready until 100pm instead of noon. No we were told flat out that we could not get lunch from them. So today there are 19 Essentia hospital employees who are no longer interested in giving business to Potbelly at any time in the future. What kind of business is potbelly running. read more

I wasn't very impressed with my first sub, which was the pizza. I thought it was just very bland. This time I went with the Italian with hot peppers, mayo, and pickles. I thought it was fantastic! Potbelly has finally come to Fargo! Excellent sandwiches, fairly priced, with a friendly staff and a nice, homey environment. No "big" size sandwiches yet, although the staff says that they're coming. The regular size is enough for most people though. Great shakes and cookies too. Drive-thru available. read more
