Smaller, wholesome family run shop, the owner patiently walked us through items and answered all of our questions, and he even helped us find something our youngest one would like. We tried pretty much everything except the soups on this trip. The kids and my wife and I all loved it. Bread was awesome, crisp, but still soft. I don't know how else to say it but Le's had all the qualities I want, from great food, to a fun friendly ambience, cleanliness, and I stayed back a little bit to hear some of the story of the start of this place. It's mainly a Bánh Mì spot, but they've got other Vietnamese dishes too, which is awesome. The customer service was top-notch. We had the pleasure of chatting with Lam, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. He took the time to tell us a bit about the community and shared some of his own story, which really made us feel at home in a new city. Weird place with low English language skills but loved the food- loved it - so go- and eat :)

The vegetarian sandwich was delicious- still very flavorful and the tofu was a very nice texture and flavor. I've never been able to prepare tofu like that :) Service was decent. They have really tried with the decor in there; lots of murals on pretty much every wall, but it did feel a little bit all over the place to me. A pleasan place to visit, which is pretty much across the street from Costco. You order at the counter, and they bring it out. I had the spring rolls and they were tasty spring rolls. They had both chicken and shrimp in them and were quite large. They have a few sauces on the table, but it comes out with a peanut sauce. read more

Highly recommend their chicken banh mi. The baguette was warm, perfectly crisped and the chicken was very flavorful. Love the crunch from the veggies (cilantro, carrots, cucumbers). The mayonnaise really tied it all together. The chicken vermicelli noodle bowl was fresh, light and healthy. It came with lettuce, slices of cucumber, carrots and a side of egg rolls. I was in Fargo last week, so I stopped by Le's Banh Mifor a quick lunch. I ordered Le's Special Sandwich, which includes pork marinated in Chinese barbecue & char xiu sauce. In addition, I ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee. The sandwich was ok, although rather small for the $7+ price tag. I generally prefer more of a crunch to my bread. First time here. I love Bahn Mi sandwiches. Bummer, they don't have Mock Duck. I ordered the Special one with pork. I don't like businesses that have a forced tip. I did other and gave $1. I asked if I pick up or they bring to table. They said they bring to my table. I ordered the combo for $14 which is sandwich, 2 egg rolls and a pop. The sandwich came toasted, which I don't like on hoagie type bread. The sandwich was good but skimpy on the meat. Egg rolls delivered when I was done with sandwich and were skinny. I can't stand the sweet chili sauce as it screams bottled Trader Joe's sauce. I brought them home. When I was done, I asked if they take waste as I didn't see a garbage can. They pointed me to front. I didn't see at first as there was a blind spot in dining room. I suggested adding Mock Duck Bahn Mi. They have Tofu Bahn mi. I keep telling myself to work my way through the menu but i just keep getting the pho. The broth is so rich and delicious it feels like you could live off of it and nothing else. If what you are looking for is authentic Vietnamese food that is out of this world, look no further. This was my second visit and I had the Beef Stew (Bo Kho) with rice noodles. It was absolutely amazing! Ingredients were very fresh and OH MY THAT BROTH! Very rich and flavorful. Sweet but also very robust and hearty. I love spicy and they gave me some hot paste which I believe was crushed up Thai peppers and maybe oil? PERFECT! All the meat in the stew was perfectly cooked, all the fatty pieces rendered into yummy goodness which just melts in your mouth. Also had the Le's Special Sandwich. Also very very good. Nice balance of crunch from the veggies to softness and chewiness of the pork. If you want to make it euphoric order both and dip the Banh Mi into the stew! I absolutely love Vietnamese food and this is the best I have had in the Fargo Moorhead area. Actually it's the best I have had anywhere. They currently don't serve Pho but I chatted and they confirmed it will be part of the menu in the future. Order the Stew.... TRUST ME. Besides the amazing food so is the staff! I like the bright, sunny, open industrial space. The business is geared towards take outs. Even meals served here are in disposable containers cheapening the experience a bit. The beef stew is no longer on the menu. The pho and spring rolls I tried were solid. I missed not getting a large Asian ceramic spoon to scoop up more broth at one time. Price was reasonable but only three stars because the vietnamese fries were a very small order, had been refried which I don't mind but they definitely get greasier when refried, and the key to a great Banh Mi sandwich is a great roll, and mine was too dry and crumbly on the outside indicating it was past its best, but it was still good and tasty. Fargo's newest Vietnamese restaurant. I've stopped here twice and each time I've had the grilled steak sandwich and my wife has tried several of the bowls. We haven't had anything bad here. The food is fresh, the bread for the sandwiches is extremely well made. The entire sandwich is filling but not heavy. The fresh jalapeño slice and vegetables make this one of the best sandwiches I've had here in Fargo. I'm excited to try the Pho but they were still waiting for a couple things to come in before they make it. The staff is friendly, polite and the interior is comfortable, open and well decorated. went to Le's Banh Mi recently. We had Le's special sandwich, egg rolls, and spring rolls. Boy was this food good. Le's special sandwich is many layers of flavors and textures. Highly recommend it. It has carrots, cucumbers, cilantro, season pork, the roll is buttered and crusty. it all pairs together very well. The egg rolls are flavorful and do not need any addition sauce. The Spring rolls are delicious. The included peanut sauce would be a great addition to any sandwich at this establishment. everybody should go this place. read more
