Really fresh and hearty subs.You have to get the chicken cordon bleu and their home fries. The baguette is French/Vietnamese style. Fluffy inside and a slight crunch on the outside. This is a casual dining spot and we mostly get our order to go. The inside is clean with seatings areas and there will be families here after a baseball game sometimes. It's so much better than big chain sub shops any given day. Even when it's hot inside from all the cooking and frying, it's still good. Service is decent as you are looking at ordering and get a buzzer when your food is ready. Generally fast and I don't expect much else. The order is accurate and it still feels like a home spot to come by whenever possible. Big portions too, so share or save the extra for later. read more

My other half has been telling me, for years, that we needed to get food from here. Today was the day. The menu has a wide variety of options and sandwich sizes to select from. The fries, amazing and worth the calories! We ended up each getting the new Caribbean Chicken sandwich. Flavor wise, delicious! Bread, perfect for the sandwich. The amount of filling in the sandwich seemed a bit sparse for the sandwich size and price. That being said the quality of ingredients- very good! Also, the two staff working were slammed- yet remained positive, attentive and genuinely seemed to enjoy their work. We will be back. read more

I'll start by saying their subs are actually pretty good. The low score is because the place is disgustingly dirty in the cooking area. I have been here twice and each time the sub tasted good, but I had a hard time eating it (couldn't finish, either time) because the food prep areas were just gross. When you walk in, there is the slight sour odor in the air, like they used a dirty rag to clean the tables, or old mop water to clean the floor, though the dining area looks clean enough. It's not until you walk along the counter, after ordering, when you see how dirty the kitchen is. There's bits of sandwich toppings scattered on the counter, as if they were in the middle of a rush but, since I arrived about 11, I think that is unlikely. The food stuck to the sides of the containers in the refrigerated counter area make me think they just refill the same containers over and over again, and they never get cleaned. The oil in the fryers is so dark, I half expect to see some oil derricks being brought down from The Bakken to help build up our nation's crude reserves, but the old fries floating in there would probably scare them off. The floor is covered in old ingredients and meat was left out on tables in the prep area. There were old blobs of sandwich sauces crusted to the counter. I gave them a couple chances, but each time, this place has just been disgusting. If anyone from the health department read this, please get them inspected. And often. I won't be back. Of all the Grand Junctions in the FM area this is by far the worst run. I can easily recant the number of times the cooks messed up my sandwich, served me burnt fries, refused to fix the malfunctioning pop machine or were simply so unkempt that I also didn't want to eat the sandwich... That being said, man alive those east coast style subs are delicious. I do not do pick up orders at this particular store because of the service, but I often take the sandwich to go and am very satisfied when finished. The veggie supreme is great for those of you who are vegetarian and the philly cheesesteak is one of a kind for the meat lovers. read more

Went in for a late lunch hoping it wasn't too busy, placed my order and watched as everyone who was behind me (7customers) had been served-I went to the counter to ask if my order was on its way only to find out it never made it to the order screen-thankfully I had my receipt - by this time I was 35 minutes to my 45 minute lunch break- instead of eating my order there had to make it to go - the help looked completely lost in what they were doing. It was like they were all more interested in going out to grab a smoke than take care of the customers. I used to go here all the time until every time I went my food took at least 20 mins. This last time I sent my wife there to grab a couple sandwiches for us and she waited for 50 mins for out food!! We both had awful headaches from being so hungry. I'll never go there again, it was an absolutely awful experience. read more

I love this place! The food is delicious. I like the crisp bread. Friendly service every time. #13 Hawaiian is my favorite. Great option to have malt vinegar for the fries. I would recommend anyone to visit this place at least once or 10 times. read more
