I tried ordering food on the app, had it set for this store, and when I paid, I was told the order could be picked up at a store in downtown Milwaukee. Fortunately, I was able to call that store to cancel the order, and they said they would refund my money. But if you're going to order on the app, double check everything. read more

I ordered 8/27/2024 at 11:58 am for delivery. The app gave me an estimated delivery time of 12:23pm. I kept updating and checking the app and no updates. At 1:44 I still hadn't received my order so I called the store. Called about 5x back to back before someone answered sound half asleep saying "Potbelly's on Washington" I explained my situation. They asked for the name on my order and then the call was disconnected. Called back 5-6 more times until someone else answered. I asked to speak with the manager. Explained to him. He said "yea we have your order here. We deliver 3rd party with door dash and no one ever came to pick it up and deliver it. But you can come get it" I explained the reason I opted for delivery is because I am at work and can't come to pick it up and I don't want food that's been sitting for over 2 hours and would like a refund. Well today is 9/7/24 and I still haven't received that refund. I went on the app and hit contact us and filled out the questionnaire and selected to have someone call back and follow up....nothing. Sandwich's are good as always, i love them. But tried the "loaded" potato soup today and for being a creamy base it was the most watery potato soup i have had and im not too sure why they call it "loaded" when it's only potatoes and creamy broth. Just seems like false advertising or they could try to put some shredded cheese or bacon bits or scallions on top to at least give it the perception of it being loaded. read more

This is the ONLY sandwich shop establishment in the area!!! ... besides Panera, Subway, and Firehouse Subs... and any fast food restaurant if you want to count those too. I guess people really like their variety of sandwiches because all these restaurants are literally within walking distance of each other and all of them are still in business. I've been to Potbelly's twice now. They have some slightly different sandwich options (about as many as you can imagine with bread, meat, and toppings). I ordered the chicken cheddar sandwich with mushrooms, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and spicy peppers, topped with mustard. The thickness of the sandwich seemed on the slim side, but the toasted bread was amazing... a crispy crunch on the outside with a soft, flavorful inside. The size of the sandwich was roughly 8 inches long for about $6. The inside of Potbelly's is uniquely decorated with vintage decor and menu options hanging on the wall. The overall feel is warming and quite different from your run-of-the-mill sandwich shop. Besides customized sandwiches, you can also craft your own mac n cheese. I didn't order that, myself, but I plan to try that next time I stop in. Also, Potbelly's has a drive-thru service which sets it apart from all its sandwich competitors (AKA its next door neighbors). read more

Pot belly is known for their delicious sub sandwiches but I want to take this time to talk about their cookies. Their cookies are probably the most delicious cookies I have ever had. I remember some years ago I decided to try one of their cookies after I had one of their meatball subs. It was a sugar cookie that was perfectly baked. Not over baked and not underbaked, chewy and just right. I was so enamored that I called the downtown Milwaukee branch and ordered a whole box of 32 sugar cookies (a catering sized order)... Needless to say not my proudest moment (don't judge me ‍) but the cookies were still very delicious nonetheless and yes I ate them all but not at one time. Nowadays I'm buying considerably less cookies and yes I still enjoy them till this day. Go get you a snack from Potbelly read more

I ordered 2 sandwiches online at 7am for an 11am (approx) delivery. At 11:17 I "tracked" my delivery and it said the order had been "RECEIVED". I called the sandwich shop and they said the sandwiches were ready, but they use a 3rd party to deliver the sandwiches IF THE THIRD PARTY CHOOSES TO PICK UP THE ORDER??! No one called me to let me know YOU CAN'T ORDER ANYTHING ON THE POTBELLY SITE TO BE DELIVERED & "NO ONE AT CORPORATE CARES". I had to leave my caretaker duties to go and pick up sandwiches. I just moved here to Mount Pleasant and I WILL NOT BE eating or ordering from POTBELLY in the future. COMMUNICATION IS EVERYTHING. I would have been fine if someone had CALLED to let me know. DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY FROM THIS LOCATION!!! A coworker and I ordered lunch a couple days ago and never received our food. My coworker called and spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to resolve the issue. The driver "claimed" to have dropped it off: there are six receptionists in the medical office we work at and not one of them saw anyone from Potbelly's. We stopped here on our way back home to Milwaukee. Our son was asleep so we went through the drive-thru. The lady who took our order was polite and patient as we finalized our decision for what we wanted. I had the grilled chicken and cheddar and my husband ordered the Italian. Both of our sandwiches were DELICIOUS!!! I was very surprised that the chicken in mine was NOT dried out. The bread had the perfect amount of grill on it so it wasn't like sharp shards of bread in my mouth but just a nice crunch as you bit into the sandwich. My husband isn't too picky but he was in love with his sandwich and couldn't stop talking about how it far exceeded his expectations as well. We will most definitely be back again! read more

I like it as much as I like any chain sub shop. Except for Jimmy Johns. They suck. Quiznos, potbelly, firehouse, Earl of sandwich. They're all bringing the hot heat, and all slightly better than going to cousins or subway. They all BARELY qualify as restaurants I'll review. I had the chicken Mediterranean thingy. It was yummy. This place does it right...... they even core their tomatoes a step that is usually lost due to the labor cost. I ordered the turkey club with everything except for mustard. The sandwich was run through the oven which warmed the meat perfectly (even the bacon). I thought the roll was top knotch with the perfect balance toast and softness. Deafly would've given them a five star except the soda machine had a slight fermented/ calibration (?) issue. I also the the price for the quality to be extremely Fair! Keep it up and I will definitely be back to try that Philadelphia cheesesteak! read more

The last two times I have went to the Potbelly in Racine, WI. I have sat in the drive thru with no response. Today I went a third time to place an order and after waiting 5 mins an employee came over the drive thru and said "ummm we are not taking orders for the next 15 mins, bye." I asked why and the associate stated "we are short staffed, bye again". I drove around the building and saw all three associates outside talking. This is outrageous. I love Potbelly's. I've been eating here for years at the Bayshore location. I love that there is now a Racine one. The drive thru is great. I was there a couple days ago and ordered thru the drive thru. The woman taking my order was insanely kind. It was sooo refreshing. She made an error in informing me of their status on Pepsi but easily corrected it at the window. Basically I was blown away at how nice she was! :) read more
