Hidden gem, came here with friends for dinner one night. Very much a popular local hangout. The vibes are very much dive bar, but the food was great. Wings are on special every day after 2pm for 90 cents a wing. The service was slightly lacking. But it was pretty packed so it was understandable. I would definitely return here. read more

they dont know their crust ingredient, all cooks and servers. I am a pizza connoisseur and tried pizza in the fort this was a place I wanted to try unfortunately not very accommodating. the server thinks there is egg in the crust unbelievable. I don't recommend this place for vegan. unfortunately they lost a large order as normally I buy about 3-4 large pizzas. oh well just the way the world is these days. 0 for service 0 for food cause well I can't rate it if they don't sell can't rate ambiance so this rating is mostly based on accommodation. read more

Today I went to pots have gone ther for 13 years and loved the place but discussed me that me and my friends ordered alot of wings and i also ordered a bltc .but they would not let me take the wings i couldn't eat home .and straight told me that they just throw them in the garbage that is so terrible i was buying them to take to my family member that is sick right now and can't go out. But they would rather throw them out than to let a person take them home and get use out of them .absolutely terrible considering our economy. Must b nice that they can just throw ur food out that u pay for..i could have taken it home if i paid more though wow .every other restaurants in fort sask let u take what u pay for home ..terrible person as service. Poor people would kill for food and they just throw it away .just discuss me .support restaurants that want to give not take .. terrible experience!! read more

So, I'm now on a quest to see where the hidden gems in this tiny city really are, and Pots is definitely one of them. Having lived in the University of Alberta campus area for a number of years, I'd venture to say this place is probably most reminiscent of Avenue Pizza, but with WAY better food. They've got a huge amount of parking, and a nice, large dining room layout that looks like it'd be fantastic for huge groups or parties (and judging by the softball teams drifting in during our meal, that assessment was spot on). Plenty of TVs around to watch whatever game is on, but not blaring so that you can still carry on a conversation. I mentioned this in my tip, but they've got a number in their menu that if you text, you have the chance to win a free appetizer from their GIANT (borderline overwhelming) menu, obviously excluding the giant sampler platter. We opted for a free plate of nachos, which didn't disappoint, and actually came with bacon on it - one of those little things that is so simple and great in a "why the hell didn't I think of that" way. As I mentioned, the menu is extensive, and I was stuck between a number of different items (oh well, that just mean's I'll have to come back again!), but went with my gut. My club sandwich was probably enough for two people, which meant I had post-work leftovers for the next day, and our waitress was polite and kept our glasses filled consistently throughout the visit. This is my first review of Pots, but have been here about 6 or 7 times.. Pots is really an interesting place... You really never know what you're going to get.. Of the 5 times I have been there, I will say the venue was everything from CRAZY CRAZY busy to You could set off a Nuke and no one would get hurt.. Don't know or understand why, the food is decent, I really like the pizza there, its almost on par with Royal Pizza in my opinion. The service has always been TOP NOTCH, to the point one evening the waitress asked if my date and I would like some privacy and we said yes, she just said wave if you need anything, it was wonderful. Ok, so food: really good Seating: Not bad, the booths are ok (tables not moveable within the booths), the regular seeing is hard wood chairs so long durations will give you a numb butt (can be remedied by copious amounts of alcohol ;) ) The parking is really good, I have never had issue, there is a large parking lot next to the building and on the street as well as across the street is a mall parking lot. Pots has put on specialty events before (like mothers day brunch), and the brunches have always been good food.. My only complaints fall to the seating, the hard chairs are not inviting for a long visit with friends, the booth tables not being moveable are not good for larger folk (like myself), outside of that I like Pots and will continue to support a great local business! read more

Dine in is definitely better than the delivery. Dishes over priced and both delivery order I had were wrong. First time I ordered a wrap I had eaten dine in. It was half full (unlike the dine in experience where it was bursting full) and was short on the pricier ingredients. Figured it was a one off. Second order also missing items. Ordered the Pots beef dip got the regular Beef dip instead. No mushrooms & no cheese. Beef dip was drrrryyyy and lacked any real flavor as bland as bland could be. Their poutine is just plain weird. It's dry fries with a small amount of gravy only on the bottom. Then diced tomatoes, green onion and regular cheese on top. May taste ok but that is NOT poutine. When I called to complain I was put on hold til the Chef answered he only said "oh darn". Not even an apology. Beyond done with this over priced place. Won't dine in or ever do delivery again. read more

I have been a server at Pots for almost 10 years. This place is a second home to me. The regular/new customers I've become friends with, gained simple respect from, solely based on memorizing drink/food orders and genuinely caring and lending an ear when it's due, striving for prompt and perfect service based on everybody's needs is enough to explain how much I care and try to make everyone's experience the absolute best. This is a locally owned business, which I can be the first to say is never perfect, but we are always willing to make up for any faults. I only wish some people were as eager to review a business based on their several great experiences rather than their one bad, especially when half the details are left out. read more

Sometimes you wanna go where everyone knows your name. This is probably Edmonton area's closest thing to Cheers. Waitresses are amazing. Food is to die for. And the drinks are always amazing. World famous salt and pepper wings. Must try for sure! read more
