So I am reviewing this for the Canadian Brewhouse in the airport. Nothing is great at the airport for food. It is overpriced and generally not well done. However, if it done fast then I think that is enough to do the job. Food was fast here. My Eggs Benny was small for the portion however the Hollandaise sauce was creamy and the eggs were cooked well. I would say try this if you need a sit down place to collect yourself after the stressful situation of going through security. Price point not great. I have waited a long time to finally eat out without restrictions. A friend of mine is in town for a few weeks so today we went here for a late lunch. First it was great seeing the patio open and put astroturf on the ground to give it a more of a backyard feel. We started off with drinks - mine was a peach ice tea with vodka , which was absolutely delicious - i honestly could have had a few more if I wasnt driving ! Now onto the menu. So many times I see " MONTREAL SMOKED MEAT " sandwiches only to find out it is pastrami. There is a big difference between the two - trust me. And it is false advertising if its not the real deal. I asked the server if it is really Montreal Smoked meat. She checked with the head chef and came back and said yes it was. She then said customers have said it's pretty fatty ( Thats seals it right there ). When the server brought it over, I was already so excited to take that first bite. My friend really had a hard time deciding on what she wanted as the menu was pretty vast.. it's quite the menu, so she ordered deep fried pickles... thats what she decided ! Our server was amazing and made sure we got our drinks and food in a timely manner and it really helped to have a laugh with us. Three things though that are a bit annoying. 1. Busboy was constantly coming around to clear our table when we were still eating and having a conversation. 2. The menu is available when you ask, but mostly you have to take a photo of the UPC code on the table and then it opens an app for the menu.. it didnt work for both of us. So back to the menus. 3. When you walk in, it's pretty dark inside..then you go outside and back inside - this makes the eyeballs go crazy. Overall.. the patio is cozy and seats are comfy. Ok. I'm annoyed and I should likely wait to post this, but come on Canadian Brewhouse! This isn't your first rodeo. It's afternoon on a Saturday - not super busy. Slow service. Food wasn't terrific (I'm not 100% sure my chicken tenders were cooked through - the texture was weird but it was too dark to really tell) My husband said his burger had an odd flavour. The staff seemed pretty busy chit chatting. But I thought - oh well. Left a tip on the table. Went to the washroom ... paper towels all over the floor, towel dispenser didn't work so you have to roll out a towel from the damp roll in the counter (ew ew). Husband said Men's was the same. As I said, EARLY! on a Saturday. My feet were sticking to the floor. I wish I had reduced the tip. Just all around pretty meh ... likely won't be back. read more

Wow, this place has gone downhill. Service is incredibly disorganized, they are short staffed for sure. This is no offence to the severs. They are all working hard. It's just clear they do not have enough people and they are overworking the ones they have. so if you have to be somewhere, give yourself some extra time. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich and instead got a soggy one. I didn't complain because I felt sorry for the wait staff, and there didn't seem to be any management. It has definitely gone downhill, And the prices are so expensive for what you get, I think somebody is counting fries in the back!!!! If you want to pay more get less, this is the place for you!!! This sports bar is super cool! It is very sports oriented and the decor was awesome! This was our first food stop when we got here, and I'm glad we made this our first stop! It was pretty busy but didn't take long to get greeted. The menu is pretty big and we had to read it for a minute. One thing I really loved was the joke at the end of every menu item description! We started with some maple bacon shrimp that was to die for! The Smokey bacon shrimp dipped in the sweet maple syrup was banging! I ordered the Canadian burger which was a bacon cheese burger and fries also we ordered a fried chicken salad and bacon Mac and cheese! The burger was amazing! It didn't last very long at all. Thick burger patty, amazing Smokey thick bacon and the melted cheddar were awesome! My wife loved her salad and we all tried the Mac and cheese.... BEAT MAC AND CHEESE EVER! The customer service at Canadian Brewhouse (Leduc) is utter C R A P! For the second time we tried to get dinner there. The first time, we left after waiting for over an hour for our food. Our drinks didn't even come. Then this evening, our attempt to give The Canadian Brewhouse (Leduc) a second chance. We ordered online for pick up and were told it would be ready in 30 minutes. We go, arrive at the 30 minute mark and after an extra 40 minutes we got a refund. Do yourself a favour and go anywhere else. This place is an absolute joke. read more

Canadian Brewhouse just opened their most recent location in Leduc. I'd been to the one in the south side of Edmonton a year or so ago and liked it. The Leduc location is in Leduc Common, like pretty much every new store/restaurant opening up. It's easy enough to find, but being in the Common the traffic to get in/out might be a pain. This is a sports bar, so it is 18+ only. They have a lot of beers on tap, and different drink specials. Canadian Brewhouse is an Edmonton-based franchise with some locations throughout Alberta. They have a page of different local caesars like The Sherwood Park, The South Side, and The Camrose. I didn't get a drink, but it's nice to know there is a good variety to choose from. The menu is nothing ground breaking, but it's good bar food. My friend ordered some of the double dill pickle wings. She said they were ok, but not as good as the wings from her regular spot. I got an order of fried dill pickles that were delicious. Bonus points they were pickle wedges, which I prefer to deep fried dill pickle slices (the wedge gives you more pickley goodness per bite). They came with a tzatziki dipping sauce. We also got some sweet potato fries that have a chipotle dipping sauce. It had a mesquite flavour to it as well. One thing on the menu that did annoy me was seeing the poutine entries being made with shredded mozzarella and not cheese curds. Real poutine has cheese curds, and I don't understand why real curds can't be used. Up the price if need be, but shredded mozzarella does not a poutine make. The restaurant itself is very large, and there's lot's of seating, but it was very busy when my friend and I got there (there were only a few empty tables). Canadian Brewhouse has only been open for a couple of week, but our server said it was much busier the previous days. That being said our service was super quick, and the food came out right away. Being a sports bar they had several different games on (there are TVs everywhere). The games were all on mute, which was ok because it was loud enough without TVs blaring. The worst experience ever!!!! We just moved to Leduc and wanted to celebrate. We made the huge mistake of going to the Canadian Brew House in Leduc. They got their first and last $140 from me. The waitress was very inexperienced and very unprofessional. The manager was exactly the same! As we tend to go out and support local business quite frequently I hope there are much better places to go in Leduc. We lived close to the Windermere Canadian Brew House where we spent every weekend over the summer. You would think they were two different businesses. The Windermere location was always a pleasure to visit and one would think the same for all locations but don't let the name on the building fool you! If we ever step inside of another Canadian Brew House I can assure you all it will not be the Leduc location! read more

Wednesday wings and beer were good, however, the service is absolutely terrible. I would definitely not recommend wasting your time here strictly because the service was absolutely horrible. My family and I sat down at a table for 15 minutes before having to press the service button on the table to get a waiter. Even during our meal the servers would serve people around us when we had pressed the service button to get some assistance. At the end of the meal when it was time to get the check our server would ignore us when we pressed the check button so we had to get up from our table and let the rude individual know that we were ready for the check. I am not sure how this place has such a low star rating. I brought my best friend down here with me last night and we had an amazing time. The staff are all extremely nice and they let you seat yourself which is lovely as I find when waitresses sit a party of 2 they usually gravitate towards sitting them at a table when I much prefer a booth. For an establishment that is supposedly geared towards being a sports bar I still found the volume of noise to be manageable enough to have a conversation without raising my voice. It's also a pretty eclectic mix of ages eating and drinking here so if you want to enjoy the experience of delicious bar food without any of the drunken foolishness you might deal with down on Whyte this is a great place for you. My friend and I decided to split an order of nacho's with double cheese (this is the regular sized order mind you and not the double) and despite the fact neither of us had lunch prior to coming we still couldn't finish the whole thing between the two of us. I thought that was amazing value for the money! Plus their nacho's are so sooooo good. The ingredients are all so fresh and they make their chips in house. I also have to give extra brownie points to the fact their chef's follow the golden rule of proper nacho's here which is layer those ingredients and don't have everything sitting just on top! I think the only regret I have about these nacho's is they left me no room for dessert and let me tell you the desserts here sound amazing! Like the deep fried cookie dough for instance...carnival treats in November you say? Yes please! Ah well it just means I have a reason to come back again and I will definitely be coming back again. Was very very dissapointed with the steak supper we ordered. Ordered a medium steak and it came blue rare. Sent back to kitchen and it was returned to me rare. And the cook must have been dancing with the seasoning salt because the entire plate was overwhelmingly salty. Manager didn't charge us for the meal and we asked for a complimentary brew house mug to make up for the horrible food and the dissapointing meal out. They made us pay for the mug and when we told the manager how dissapointed we were that we spent 150$ in their restaurant and had a horrible dining experience he followed us out of the restaurant like we troublemakers. ....never spend my hard earned money there again. This place is solid. I've been here at all hours, and while not fancy, it's always delivered. The last time we went here, it was just before 10pm on a Friday night, and we were just getting off work, and HUNGRY (we had gone one other place before this, but the kitchen was already shut down). I tried the sangria and the blackened sandwich and I have to admit it was pretty tasty but my partners on the other hand was a different story.. He ordered the donair and when it arrived it had tomatoes pouring out of it and he hates tomatoes. We called the waitress over and asked if he could have a new one and that we would pay for BOTH donairs because it was his mistake not asking for no tomatoes. She gave a snarky comment and said she would be back to clear the plate. I dug a quick heart at the bottom of the donair wrap with my knife. When the new one arrived it was in the same wrap with the heart I dug into the tortilla and super soggy. When the bill came she charged us for 2 donairs when really we got a one old one. I can understand the concept of busy on a Wednesday, but having a waitress completely ignore you and serve people around you who arrived later is a bit of an issue. This is especially prevalent as you can push a little button provided to indicate you are ready for service. When you do this she looks at the watch indicating it and continues to ignore you. Normally the Brewhouse in Leduc is a decent place, but it sounds like they have poor management that allows such inept service to continue. read more

Seemed like a good idea to come here for wing night and beers during the Oilers Game. However, after sitting waiting for 15 minutes minimum to even be acknowledged, I realize it was not a good idea. After finally placing our order, the server never returned to check on us. We pressed the Service button numerous times and were ignored and ignored. Servers were not pleasant and courteous as one would expect. Sorry, I was visiting from the USA and do expect some decent service. Overall service sucked, food was okay, will likely go elsewhere next time. Thanks for making me realize not all my ideas are good. Anyways, Canadian Brewhouse, I've moved on. My fiancée had the canadian burger. Thought it was neat that the patty was in the shape of a maple leaf. I forget the name of it but I had the sandwichch that a mix between a beef dip and a pulled pork sandwich . Food was quick and portions were good. A lil excessive on the fries..but then again I love fries so no complaints. But our server was moody and too busy sitting with her friends and talking to them. I was in Canada for business and a colleague and I were looking for a place to go watch some sports and grab a few beers so I looked up and found The Canadian Brewhouse. It was your typical sports bar chain. Kind of a mix between Hooters and Buffalo Wild Wings but it was a good place to go and unwind. I tried a REALLY big beer and got to keep the stein that came with it. Our waitress was good and as attentive as she could be because it was slammed because the Edmonton Oilers were playing. I went there with my best friend who is in a wheelchair. We went up to the bar and I sat up on a stool and he moves a stool and pulls up .being really low in is chair mine you. We have some doubles. After about half an hour ,I'm looking down talking to him. I raise me head and order two more and the bar tender says I'm cut off! I say what? He said yes u were sleeping. Been here a few times now, and it's always been great. The menu is very extensive, and the prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is more 'sports bar' than I thought it would be, but maybe that's just my timing... they have a zillion TVs, and I guess sports is "what you put on" when you fill every available angle with a flat screen. Finding a table hasn't been an issue for me yet, as I have only been there as a "2", so I've been lucky. 8 of us went in for dinner (there are 12 in our group) This is a regular Friday event for us....the service was below average at best. server spilled wine all over my hand, my jeans, and my shoe. All I got was a sorry and a story about how she poured wine on herself at her mothers house. The prices were quite high and the food was not very good at all. $80 for one appetizer, two burgers, and two glasses of happy hour wine. I called the manager the next day. I explained in great detail what happened. He said he would talk to our server. Had Onion rings for an appetizer--they were way overdone. 2 minutes later our mains came out, so there wasn't any point in getting the rings fixed. Waitress mentioned that it was really busy and she was working 2 sections. No offer or suggestion regarding what could be done about our terrible rings. Couldn't find anyone to come with the bill when we wanted to pay and leave. Restaurant was about 80 - 85% full. Terrible service. Poor food read more
