It was a good salad. I requested honey for my tea, as I saw others having it and it was not on the table. I did not particularly care for some of the tea sandwiches offered this month. The rest of the food, and particularly my scone, were good. I would come back again but will pay close attention to the menu offered.

So what I'm saying here is let's say you buy an item for $20 and it's worth $40 at the time so $20 profit right ? That's good double your money so why is it so bad for you to just put that $40 on the item and leave it there your still getting the original profit you were originally fine with but your way of thinking is if that item went up $10 YOU need to get that extra $10 instead of letting what could be a loyal customer get a good deal and you still get the profit you intended from the beginning this is what I was trying to express to you in my last review I mean you have MANY items in your store that have been there for YEARS ! I'm not saying if you paid $5 for an item then it sky rockets to $500 to still sell it for $10 but I mean if you let that go for ....$300 then wouldn't you say you both win you only expected to get the original $10 but got $300 then your potential RETURN customer got an amazing deal to which you know he would brag about to EVERYONE! I paid $13,000 - for 8 trees and Derek had to be the most unfriendly, disrespectful and rude businessman I have ever met! The purpose of the tree removal was 2-fold. It was for safety around the home and also to provide LOTS of firewood! He knew this. He never introduced himself - I had to ask who was Derek when I went out to greet all the guys that showed up. Even once he raised his hand he still did not come over to me. I had to go to him and extend my hand to introduce myself. We had not met as this is my daughter & son-in-law's home. I came up from Virginia for this as I was the payor of the services, which he also knew. Derek started cutting the trees as we (my son in law & I were home) expected, including limbs of good size. Then things changed and we saw a number of pieces going into the chipper (easy for them as all they had to do with that was shoot them into the woods). I went out a total of 4 times to ask him to NOT chip those bigger limbs as they were such great pieces of firewood and even asked if they could just cut to pile or leave in on the ground by the tree. His answer repeatedly?: "IF IT FITS IN THE CHIPPER IT GOES IN THE CHIPPER!" Let me reiterate I was paying him $13,000!! I cannot begin to tell you how infuriating he was and what a great disappointment due the amount of firewood we lost due to his lack of giving a damn what the customer wanted. The same night he sprayed my yard we had a monsoon of a rainstorm and a lot of the green color has washed away. I did not know a lot about the process so I sent Nathan a message asking if it would need to be done again. He showed up a couple of hours later and sprayed the yard again at no additional cost. He stated that while the seed had already been embedded into the soil and the rain most likely did not effect the seed, he was in the area and had extra stuff in his tank and an extra coat wouldn't hurt anything and would ensure a nice full lawn. I couldn't be happier with the service he has provided.

In late summer of 2025, I first visited Potter's for a gift and found a great selection of plants, pots, and care items. I found the perfect gift and found a place I knew I had to share about. Recently, I brought my husband to Potter's so he could experience what I had. You have a couple of forever customers! Raymond took the extra time and care to explain the nuances of the plants we picked, one being "Ruby" a plant that needs to stay put for 30 days to adjust to her new home (a fussy Ficus, if you will, lol). He replanted and treated each plant before packaging them with care. The passion and dedication are evident in every interaction. BEWARE of hidden costs with this company. I'd made some costly purchases from SCN in past years, but I'd always transported my bushes and trees home myself and did the planting. This year, and with growing back issues, I'd decided to have the trees I purchased planted by the company. I purchased two different trees a few weeks apart, hoping to have them scheduled together. I spoke/dealt with two different employees and BOTH times, they explicitly told me the cost of planting and delivery were half the cost of the trees. Planting AND delivery. Both times I asked questions and both times they were told my address. Both times there were ample opportunities for transparency on any additional costs I could incur, but they were steadfast in telling me to expect half the cost of the trees. I waited seven weeks for them to reach me on their delivery schedule, but they did not confirm the day and time until TWENTY minutes before Jake was arriving at my home (he apologized that he forgot). I scrambled to rearrange my morning and had to cancel a work teams call. Jake was great and professional, however, when I went to write out my check, he quoted me an additional $100. When I told him this was entirely unexpected and I wasn't exactly happy about it, he didn't have much to say, staring at his feet and saying that sometimes 'they forget to tell customers' and it's 'based on many factors'. To clarify, we are a straight shot down the highway just a few exits from SCN. Depending on the route, we are 12-14 miles from them. That's it! If they wanted to upcharge for being out of a service radius, they could have been transparent, but they weren't- not to mention the fact that I have NEVER heard of such a short distance being out of a service radius. I have messaged them both through their Facebook portal and also directly to their sales department weeks ago and have heard NOTHING. A $100 gift card or credit for the erroneous upcharge would be a step to making this right, but they don't even respond. SCN has some nice inventory, but they are on the higher end with their pricing if you compare locally. With the added cost, I will have to seriously consider taking my business elsewhere.
