My work group is always looking for fun and unique ways to enjoy ourselves and build on our team dynamics. This place definitely fit the bill for a unique experience. They easily accommodated our group of 10 and we had the whole place to ourselves. They let you bring food and wine which was great. The instructor was fantastic and we each made our own bowl from scratch with her help of course. We had a really good time and I highly recommend this place for anyone who desires to spin the wheel.

My 8-year-old daughter and I went in. the waiting room alone was definitely something to see. even though the tickets were slightly expensive at the time they have gone down since then by half. we started to walk through the exhibit I was floored. the amount of time effort and energy and creativity the people that put this together did in this space is far from just saying its amazing! ITS FREAKING PHENOMENAL! Each exhibit is well thought out and they are all awesome photo ops. We had a blast! A year later I took my 17-year-old son. The price went down but also some of the exhibits were gone. I was informed that they were building something else in place of, but was disappointed because a couple of my favorite exhibits were now missing. the rain room was awesome, but it's gone now. I think they should bring it back because walking through a rainstorm and not getting a single drop of rain on you is mind blowing. The fact that I can bring both of my children with huge age gaps and interests and both of them found this place to be interesting, fun and unforgettable is really all that has to be said.

It took my friends and I approx. 45 mins., at most to walk through the entire place. And that's with us thoroughly exploring every nook and cranny. Kids will definitely have a blast here and will most likely spend more time playing with all the sensory effects but for my friends and I, we will most likely not visit again. Note: Adult admission fee is $34.99 + tax and child admission fee is $24.99 + tax.

Nikki Szeto is a Houston area artist that redefines the term "portrait". If more people were aware…read moreof the availability and choice of selecting a portrait art as opposed to a photograph, I think they would be delightfully surprised to find that Ms. Szeto's oil paintings convey so much more than either a photograph or the conventional concept of portrait, i.e. a staid, old fashion though treasured family keepsake or something one might see at a bank or business. Ms. Szeto is certainly worth examining if you are lucky enough to connect to an artist of this caliber. Nikki is formally educated and trained in fine arts and in addition she is an extremely good teacher. Whether you desire a likeness of a love one, yourself, or perhaps an exciting, new piece of art for your home, one would find a treasure in her work that would grow in both sentimentality as well as a collectable art. Ms. Szeto is a lovely, soft spoken woman, sensitive to her clients specific desires or able to suggest ideas as she is unusually empathic to a special allure or spirit that captures her subjects very essence. Her style can range from a more formal sitting to a spirited movement or lighting that totally enunciates that particular person's personality. Her painting would be become not only a generational treasure but a beautiful, innovative piece of art suitable and lovely at home or public display. I personally have two of Ms. Szeto's oil portraits of my daughters; each so different, yet both so innovative and absolutely wonderful works of art I am proud to have as a collector. I think anyone would be lucky to come into contact with Nikki Szeto both as an artist, teacher or for a interesting conversation about art and life.

She also has a selection of fine art available through her website or her gallery. Nothing is ordinary in the eyes of this artist. Through Nikki Szeto's compelling and evocative images, she distills the essence of her observations about our beautiful and complex world. Her style is representational and her medium is oil Depending on what is to be expressed, her works range from subtle and restrained to bold and exuberant. When it comes to painting portraits, she clearly communicates an individual's character and humanity.

Members can use their pass at either location. This location is actually ironically located in a fairly simplistic brick building that used to house a prison of all things. Parking is free. Inside there are just a few exhibits including life science, hall of technology, a special salt exhibit, hall of paleontology, space hall, and a few other exhibits that required a special extra fee like a dig pit. The exhibits are somewhat small but almost all have an interactive component which can be great for small kids. Part of our event included a very short tour of the second floor and our guide was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. I work in a very different type of industry so this was really refreshing to see. They do have private meeting rooms that can be reserved which made it easy to have some meeting events in addition to time to wonder the exhibits. Overall, I enjoyed the day and glad that I got the opportunity to "be a kid again." If you're in the area it's definitely worth checking out. If you're far away however, I am not sure that I would make a special drive.
