Ok. My house looks like it came out of a PB catalog according to one of our friends. Does that mean we're addicted? Hi, my name is Ed and I am a PB-aholic. Actually, my wife is the addicted one. I just approve her spending. This store is terrific with a great selection and a great staff. Deborah has been amazing in helping us decorate our new home. She has a good eye, and her personal touch in bringing items to our home to try has made the process easy. Complimentary design service, btw. Compare that to the snotty attitude we got at Restoration Hardware... "We won't come to your home unless you're going to spend $15K", the RH biatch said snarkily. How did she know we weren't going to spend that much? Oh well, we did, and RH's loss is PB's big gain - and ours too. Thanks, Pottery Barn and Deborah for taking design and customer service to a new level and making our home beautiful.

Perfect holiday table with plenty of space for the little ones.

WARM AND INVITING! Pottery barn is that store that immediately relaxes you upon entering. Regardless of location, you will find the store always on trend and beautifully decorated. I just love getting inspired by the staging of the various rooms. My taste runs a little different because I like darker pieces and they tend to use much lighter tones. I am looking forward to my son taking some of the existing furniture when he moves into his own space so that I can make room for more intimate pieces. At this time, I will be lightening things up so it is helpful to visit different stores and gather some ideas. Some of the displays were reflective of what I hope to accomplish in my own home. The farm table with benches and upholstered seating is a major trend right now and just reminds me of Kansas as they had several with distressed wood. They always have the best comforters and delicious linens. As fall approaches, I am always looking for ways to change and refresh my decor which can easily be done with new pillows, beautiful candles, art and other accessories like lamps, leather chairs and tables. When I was walking around the showrooms, I was thinking about the fact that people have often told me that my home looks very comfortable and that is exactly what I want to achieve in decorating. I want every room to be warm and inviting as there is no room in my home that is stagnant, (livingroom, formal dining room included) and guests are free to roam as they are at Pottery Barn. ***Great customer service to assist with ideas or any questions you may have. They will actually approach you and there is no need to go "hunting" for them.

They have an ok selection and the prices are fair. I had a sales person who was very personable…read moreuntil the paperwork was signed. Then, he did not remember who I was when I called the next day. Overall, I would give the shopping and buying experience 1.5 stars. Delivery was a nightmare. I was told I would receive an email two days before with an exact timeframe and EXPLICIT details. I did. And they were quite explicit. 11:30 AM to 2 PM. I even called to confirm everything. I was working from home that day and had scheduled clients up until 11 o'clock so that I could be to my office by 11:25. However, around 10 AM the delivery driver called me and told me he was there "waiting"(at my office). I was in the midst of a session with a client, but picked up the phone because I knew it would probably be my only chance to speaker the driver. He told me he was there and wanted to know why I wasn't there. He also wanted to know how quickly I could get there. I told him I was working and that I could possibly get there by 11:20 or more likely, 11:25. He was clearly frustrated with me, and heavily implied this mishap was my fault. He said that this would not work for him. I said there's nothing I can do and that I was told delivery would be between 11:30 and 2 pm AND that I planned my entire day around their guidelines. He again made it crystal clear that he was very frustrated with me, that he was upset. He told me to get there as fast as I could and hung up. I have never met a delivery person that was so rude. When I arrived, his work partner, who was sitting in the passenger seat, semi-apologized for the drivers attitude - but the driver could not have cared less. To add insult to injury, their delivery fee is $189. I paid $399 for the loveseat. Never expected the delivery fee to be so high. This is unheard of. It was for one small loveseat. Also about two days after I ordered the sofa, which wasn't going to be delivered for a week, I began getting harassing phone calls and emails wanting me to upgrade my purchase and get furniture protection. I told them no, but they just continued calling. And emailing. All in all - It was a horrible experience, except that I like the loveseat. I was treated with a complete lack of respect. The driver never apologized for his blatant disregard, and a frustration level that actually concerned me. Since this was being delivered to an office and there were plenty of people around, I felt relatively safe. However, had this occurred at my house, I would never have allowed him in. I asked for their names; the man sitting in the passenger seat gave me his name, but the driver completely ignored me and never responded. I will never shop at this store again. Once you sign your paperwork, you are no longer a human being, only a number and expected to act like such. I would give -10 stars if I had the option.

Very poor customer service and overall customer satisfaction. My experience with Georgia Furniture…read moreMart was extremely disappointing. The furniture quality is poor for the price. Some items appeared to be returned or duplicate versions of Ashley products, yet they were sold as original and new, which felt misleading and dishonest. Their insurance/warranty tie-up is also terrible. When problems came up, getting support was nearly impossible. What made things worse was the manager/management response -- when concerns about poor customer satisfaction were raised, management simply brushed them off by saying "that's your opinion" and made no real effort to fix the issues or offer proper solutions. There is no accountability, no follow-through, and no concern for customer satisfaction. Overall, poor quality furniture, poor service, and poor management. I would not recommend Georgia Furniture Mart to anyone.
