I traveled from St Augustine FL to northern GA and had to make a stop at this store on the way after following on Instagram for about a year. Not only is the new store stunning (I walked through many times), the product selection is overwhelming in the best way, and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Zoey and Kristen were both stand outs, and I wish I could remember the other gals name to give her a shout out as well. It was clear she had been there a long time as she was putting out new stock and was aware of previous products and items they had had in the past. I bought a few dresses and a shirt from this co Linen & Flax, a couple were returnable but the rest were final sale. I have never bought from this company before, and liked their clothes on IG so went ahead and made the purchase, knowing my size felt good about ordering my correct size. Upon receiving the items, every single one of the clothing did not fit, either too small or too large, and they were all a size M , which is what size I am. I tried to return them, but was told that they will not authorize my return because it was final sale items and did not want to work with me, but told me to sell them on ebay, etc. Who does that? I will never order from this company again, all their advertising seems false to me. Beware ordering from this company. read more

I wish I could recommend them, as I try to support local Roswell businesses, but I feel I need to share my experience to warn others. I walked by the store this past January and saw a dining table I wanted to purchase. They encouraged me to let them sell me a new one, rather than getting the one off the floor which was covered in tabletop items they had for sale and would need to be placed somewhere else. They pointed out that a new one would be free of any scratches, and because they had one in their warehouse, it would only take a few weeks to receive. I agreed and they charged my credit card for the full amount. A week goes by, and they notify me I need to sign an order form before they can submit the order. The order form indicates it will take 10-12 WEEKS for the table to arrive. I understand that furniture orders are taking a while to process because of the recent pandemic, but what about the one they said was in their warehouse? I should have just walked away at that point, but I decided to be patient and stuck with the order. 17 weeks later I haven't heard a word about the status of the order. I requested that they cancel it and refund my money. They refused, stating that there are no refunds on "special orders". They did not state at the time they charged my credit card - and nowhere on the form does it state - that the table was non-refundable; only that CUSTOM orders are not refundable. The staff has always been upfront that ordering an upholstery item in a particular fabric would be considered custom and therefore non-refundable, which is completely reasonable. But there is NOTHING CUSTOM about this order. The table I ordered was exactly like the one on the floor I intended to buy in the first place and was presumably already sitting in their warehouse. In my experience, they have shown poor customer service and poor handling of a straightforward transaction. I opted to purchase through L&F because I want to support a local business. But I can no longer support them and caution other would-be customers to seriously pay attention to my experience and those of other reviewers before giving them your business. read more

Cute cute cute. This store is so warm and inviting and boasts so much charm. She has beautiful things, reasonably priced and it's the perfect spot to grab a gift. Candles, creams, kitchen goodies, linens, arrangements, sweet signs, pillows, precious little statues, awesome furniture, mirrors, lighting and architectural pieces. This place is a gem. We met the owner Saturday and she was soo sweet! I'll be sure to get back there my next trip to Roswell, and i hope they offer shipping soon! You need to visit. It's great. I would love to be able to recommend this store my friends but feel that I can't because of the lack of transparency from the staff on return policies. My wife and I spent close to $400 at Linen & Flax on a Saturday and decided that one of the pieces just didn't work in our home. They aren't open on Sunday so we figured we would return the item next weekend when we both had the time away from work. We went to return the item today and were informed that they only have a 48 return policy. This is very disappointing. Again no one told us as first time shoppers. Yes, I know it was in the fine print on the receipt but I think that if they are going to have such an abnormal policy it should be pointed out by the staff. Again wish would could shop here but such strict policy doesn't allow working couples much leeway. read more

Chaz and her team fully described the process with an initial "interview," a paid consultation fee (that we knew was just that - a fee), an on-site consultation (to ensure we were fit for each other) an additional design fee (that we fully expected), and purchase of Linen & Flax furniture and all of their goodies!! My friend & I visited both the home and clothing store. She's from So. Cal & loves shopping in Atl. We both purchased items at both locations and later spoke of the experience. Nice things, but in both stores on Dec. 5, 2018 we couldn't help but notice that the customer service was less than desirable. They didn't ask if we needed assistance. When we would ask for help, they weren't very accommodating. Although it's holiday season, both stores were not busy, so the slight inconvenience we felt really wasn't warranted. Definitely not the southern hospitality that my sister friend is accustomed to. read more

I visited this store for the first time a couple of days ago and I'm so happy I did. I was warmly greeted by the ladies working at the front desk. I explained to them what I was looking for and they were excellent at recommending pieces that might work. I left with several items, displayed them, and realized they were all too small and a little too bright white for the space. I returned my items first thing the following morning , showed them pictures of how it looked and explained what I was looking for to help fine tune my selections. They were so kind and helpful again! I was a little nervous they might be frustrated since we had to start over, but nope, they were attentive and immediately started looking for some alternatives. We swapped everything, found some gorgeous more natural earthy-toned pieces, I spent a little more on this second trip and was happy to do so because of the beautiful pieces and excellent customer service. I got home, put it all together and it was perfect! I can't wait to go back and show them picture of how it turned out. This place is an absolute gem! My grandmother and I stopped by a few weeks ago just to kill time and look around. We had a warm welcome and instantly began to make friends with staff! Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this store or designer to anyone! I feel as though I have been scammed out of $300. I booked Chaz to come for a consultation in my home. I was told before booking that at this visit she would walk my ENTIRE home and recommend different things for us to do. To begin, she and her associate were LATE getting to my home(mind you I took off work to be there in time). They did not have the courtesy to call to inform me they would be late either. When they finally arrived, I believe they were in my home for a total of 5-10 minutes. They walked only the first floor and took measurements of different walls. They gave very vague information and would not give a clear answer on any questions I asked. I asked questions about colors for drapes or barn doors and she said we would just have to see. She gave no true answers or recommendations. Before they left she said that they would email me in two days to let me know the DESIGN FEE and if we were ok with the design fee they would start working on my home and we would go "shopping" in her OWN store for items. I had no idea what the design fee would be and she could not give me an answer. I was worried being that I had just spent $300 on nothing. They left and two days later I received the email. $2500 for a design fee!!! I asked if the $300 I had already paid would go towards the design fee or the items purchased for my home as I know a lot of designers work like that. I also asked if the products purchased for my home would be wholesale price or the marked up price that her normal everyday store customers pay. I was told NO the $300 goes to nothing and the items we would choose be the same store price every other person pays. So basically Chaz pockets $2800 and then also pockets the upcharge money you pay for the overpriced(though pretty) items from her OWN store. I get that this is a job and she isn't working for free but all these hidden fees are a little outrageous. I would have been happy had she said the $300 went toward something but no I paid $300 for someone to walk in my house LATE and measure a wall. Ridiculous. I received a call from Chaz tonight stating that she came across a review my husband had left for her store. She called to "appologize" and said had she known that I wasn't happy the next day she would have given me my $300 back but since I didn't call her the next day she wouldn't do that. Well, I never heard back from anyone to follow up after the consultation/design fee email. It took 4 days to get a response with my questions about the $300. They weren't loosing sleep about me and getting a customer until they saw the review. They still haven't made it right and she told me we could just leave the review up. You're right, I will leave my husbands review up AND I'll write my own as well. Stay away unless you like wasting money! read more

So my wife and I were in Roswell to pickup some paint and drove by this store. Its very cute on the outside and we figured while we were there why not stop in. When we walked in we were not greeted very welcomely at all. The sales lady looked at us like "these bitches can't afford anything" and didn't even say hi. We said hi and began to look around. We quickly realized we could not afford anything in this store. There was a pillow that was $163, a plastic pumpkin that was $34 and an antique watering can for $89. Now most items in the store are full of charm and very cute but are nowhere near the asking prices. I guess I'm just kinda over the Joanna Gaines wannabe stores. We personally enjoy taking on a project and you can get way better deals at thrift and antique stores if you put in a little work. And at least at antique stores the sales people and owners will acknowledge you. read more
