    Pottery Barn is the absolute worst place to purchase new furniture. Buyer beware! I purchased the NICASIO coffee. I waited for 3 months for it to arrive. When it finally did arrive it was damaged. I called PB customer service and was told I would have to disassemble it repackage it and ship it UPS. The local PB stores do not accept returns! My handy man had tossed the original packaging so I was told that I would have to purchase boxes to ship it back and they would not reimburse me for that cost. When I called customer service I asked to speak to a manager and was put on hold and told by the agent it's not possible but they would take $150 off the cost of the table. Seriously?! I wanted a replacement but PB was making it so difficult that after several calls to PB and getting nowhere I just took the $150 discount. Believe me. I will never shop at Pottery Barn again!!

    This is the new sofa that Pottery Barn in Pasadena, Ca thought it was ok to send me after paying almost $2000 in June 2025. It looks like an old worn out sofa, but it is not. Trying to get Pottery Barn to resolve this poorly made sofa has been so bad! Customer service seems to not take this seriously. I feel like they got their money and they do not care. So disappointed with Pottery Barn!!!

    One of my favorite locations of Pottery Barn. A lot of them are slowly closing. I'm happy this one is still open and they have a lot of beautiful things available. I got acorn jar candles that were on sale and perfect for the holidays. Lots of cute pumpkins and candleholders. The clearance section had a lot of vases, hurricane candle holders and more. Great deals. All the Christmas items are up but not on sale yet. I'll wait and check it out in a few weeks. Great location, two stories in a historical beautiful building.

    This is a great store in a great location, but the employees here have never been the best, or the most friendly, or helpful. That's why this store gets three stars. I have shopped here many times over the years and I have always enjoy my time here other than the employees attitudes. They have so much stuff here to look at and purchase and with it being two floors I could spend hours here looking around and especially during Christmas holiday month. Their selection is plentiful and they have just about anything you could possibly need for your living space and to be honest some of their stuff can be purchased at a fairly decent price for the quality you're getting. Enjoy your shopping here, I know I do :)

    Cracked umbrella stand

    I ordered a cantilever umbrella for $1500 white glove delivery. It was delivered and installed by PB in my backyard. After 4 months, it collapsed for no apparent reason. PB customer service will not replace or fix. It said it was my fault from either a backyard animal, weather ( sun) or needed to be placed in a shed every day. No one in management would speak to me. I sent a letter to Mr. Brown with pictures- no reply. The worst customer service - does not stand behind expensive merchandise.

    Beautiful Pottery barn in Old Town Pasadena. Stunning store front, awesome selections of home decor. Clean, beautiful store with the best home decor. Value is high, but you pay for what you get. Nobody greeted me or helped me in the store. Everyone seemed busy helping other customers. Beautiful display for October!

    Attended a design: How to Set the Holiday Table and visual merchandiser Efrain was very knowledgeable and friendly.

    Store wouldn't give us store credit even though the product clearly stated it was a Pottery Barn product.

    We were given a gift that came from the Pottery Barn. Unfortunately we didn't get a gift receipt. We had this happen before at other stores and it's never been an issue; they just give us store credit. But Pottery Barn would not take the item back, not even for store credit. The outside of the box said Pottery Barn on it (picture attached) and so it was clearly from Pottery Barn, they told that they still stock the item and so it was currently on their shelves, and it was brand new with nothing wrong with the item, and yet Pottery Barn wouldn't give us store credit for it. That is awful customer service. We used to shop at the Pottery Barn but they just lost our business forever. There is no reason they couldn't have given us store credit like EVERY other store did when we had this issue in the past.

    I literally spent several months looking for the perfect sofa. I'm very particular about what I…read morelike- Especially for a sofa since I'll spend so much time in it. I went into Sofa U Love once and eventually circled back around and gave them a shot. I mean, if you can't find what you're looking for, just have someone custom make it right? I was initially a little apprehensive because I never ordered a custom sofa before and didn't know how that would go. Check some stuff out in person, order it, but what if it arrives and it's not the same or I don't like it ect? There's something to sitting on the actual thing you're buying, so it made me a little nervous. But I loved everything about the place and the customer service was top notch so I decided to give it a shot and boy was I happy I did. First of all, their customer service is amazing. Second of all, you can customize just about anything. Third of all, down the line, you can have them alter or adjust anything you want. Like, if there's any issue down the road, they can fix it. If you decide you want to change the fabric to do different color, they can do that. How many sofa places do you know that offer that? When you order from them, you basically have a sofa partner for life if you want/need it. There's some real peace of mind there. And ps, the price isn't that bad for a sofa in general and these are custom high quality sofas that will last 15+ years. Good luck finding a better deal. Ya get what ya pay for. And you pay extra for custom work, although, if you compare custom sofa shops, their prices are extremely competitive. I'd post the price, but it's a bit irrelevant since it depends on what you need. I worked with Shelly the whole time and the experience was amazing from start to finish. She's very friendly, actually puts the customer first (which is rare these days), and is very smart. I wanted to get a 96" sofa and knowing I lived in Pasadena she recommended that I double check the elevator height first. I did, and whoops, the sofa wouldn't have fit haha. I measured it for the stairs and figured out a new length. I asked Shelly what would happen if I measured wrong and it didn't fit up the stairs and I can't get it in my place and she said no problem, we'll re-measure, bring it back to the factory and trim it to a size that will fit (there would have been a small fee fyi). Who does that? No one. That's amazing. The sofa and ottoman ended up arriving about a month earlier than expected which was extra amazing. The only bad experience I had in this whole process was that one of the drivers was incredibly rude. After the delivery, I let Shelly know and she apologized profusely. Later in the day, I got a call from the owner Vincent and he personally apologized to me. I couldn't believe that. You know it's a good company when the owner does stuff like that. It starts at the top. Clearly I just caught some annoyed delivery guy at the wrong time. Sometimes those things happen. An outlier of the whole experience. I had the sofa for a few days, and the back cushions of the sofa was starting to hurt my back because there was too much filling in it. My back is very sensitive and I need a very soft back pillow to sink into. I'm sure some people would like a more firm back pillow. Anyways, I called Shelly and asked if there was anything we can do about it and she said no problem, we'll pick it up and take some of the filling out (and they didn't charge for this, by the way). They grabbed it, brought it back to the factory, took some filling out, and within about 3 days, I had the back cushions back and they were sooooo comfortable. That totally did the trick. I love the sofa. It's beautiful, comfortable, the whole experience is amazing, and I love how I have the peace of mind that if there's some sort of issue I can hit them up. Not only are they a custom sofa place that can do basically whatever you need, they have the customer service and management that are eager to do whatever they can to help make your experience perfect. I don't normally write reviews, but they deserved a good one. I appreciate a well run business.

    I did purchase a sofa from here. They are not inexpensive, but you do get to personalize every…read moreaspect. How much fluff. What kind of fluff(or no fluff). What shape of every part, layout, color, texture. It really is a truly customizable experience. I'm happy with the product. I can't give a 5 because there were a few hiccups on communication starting on the first visit and going to the end. Will say that the owner called to apologize for the situation he knew and I can tell he really takes pride in this being a quality business.
