She was so kind and helpful and scheduled me for an 8am appointment the very next morning (a Saturday nonetheless). I am beyond satisfied with the results i got. My teeth look beautiful and natural. I went in today for a cleaning and an issue with a tooth where a crown hadn't been properly put on, and I've had sensitivity in that tooth for a couple of years. Each time ai expressed this to them, I was told it would get better. Today they recommended putting dental filling on the gap where the root is exposed and then trying to charge me $25 for numbing cream rather than fix the issue. It's unfortunate, but I will not be returning. I understand mistakes happen, but to offer to put a band aid on a prior error and then ask me to pay for cream to dull the pain is a rather poor customer experience.

So i completed the formalities and waited...Waited..waited and waited till 1015 after which i asked when i was going to be seen. I was informed that my appointment is at 10:30am and should be coming up soon. That was the first time i got to know that my appointment time was changed and i wasnt even informed on that. However, anyways i had no other option but to wait and finally at around 10:50am i was called inside. So essentially i waited an hour before i was seen. Dr. Vernoski was my doctor and as soon as he looked at me, he asked me if we are doing Xray today as i am pregnant. I said No. He made a very weird face and mentioned that "i should have come before i became pregnant. Without X Ray he cannot do anything and its only the 30% of what he will know whats going on". That was the memorial day weekend and i felt that his X ray money was out of the window and he got very annoyed looking at me. Somehow i maintained my cool and said "thats the precise reason i am visiting dentist to make sure i dont have major issue which you may get while being pregnant. He started with the floss and kept saying that he doesnt have time to teach me how to floss, though I never asked for it. My gums were bleeding because of this pregnancy and i was in pain and thats why i was visiting the dentist. 3 mins in floss and another 5 mins in cleaning the teeth with the manual tool and thats it. I am done with the annual cleaning. I have visited many dentists in the past and never ever experienced some thing like this where not more than 8 mins were spent on cleaning. Another 5 mins of polishing and i was out by 11 am. So i spent more time waiting and less time on the chair with all kinds of blabbering from the doctor. Although he gave me a tip on how to take care of my teeth during this time but it was a horrible experience. Will never ever come back again.

Me being new to the area we searched for the closest place and found Pebblewood Dental. They took my mom in right away and she saw Dr. Mendiola. My mom was hoping for something temporary until she returned home. Dr. Mendiola was honest with her in telling her that he did not want to charge her for a temporary fix and if she just kept it clean in the meantime to get it fixed with her dentist back home she should be just fine. Also, he did not charge my mom for the exam since he was unable to provide any type of service other then the exam. My mom and I were shocked. He was not looking out to just make money off of us, he was honest and caring! He was also very thorough and knowledgeable in explaining as to why the temporary fix wasn't necessary! Also, because of this great experience, I decided to return for myself. I was unable to find care for my 11 month old and Dr. Mendiola told me it was perfectly fine to bring him in. I can't explain to you how wonderful and patient all the staff members were to me and my son. Lets just say I will be hiring a babysitter for my next visit for my personal sanity but if I ever needed to bring him with me again I can trust that I have a wonderful staff to make my son and I feel comfortable. I was given state of the art preventive care that I had not experienced with any other dentists. Routine dental problems that I had struggled with in the past were resolved easily, painlessly and affordably. Dr. Alwan tackled a particularly complicated issue that I presented. Due to medication taken as an infant, I had permanent staining of my adult teeth. My 30 year old porcelain veneers needed to be replaced. The veneers and my permanent teeth were misshapen and there was decay underneath. He enjoys a good relationship with one of the best laboratories and porcelain dental veneer makers in the country. Fantastic Experience here with Dr. Flynn and his staff…read more Everyone is so welcoming and pleasant! Dr. Flynn is a major part of the team of specialists I selected to correct my smile. I have two 20+ year crowns on my front teeth (which caused decay, leading to bone loss) I saw him in March for a Bone Graft to correct the issue - it healed so nicely. Surgery was quick and almost painless. He has a very accurate with those injections! After waiting 6+ months, Dr Flynn then performed a gingivectomy (similar to crown lengthening) He did such fabulous work reshaping my gum line to prepare for new crowns. They look amazing. So natural.. I will come back to update with photos once I have my crowns placed! I highly recommend Dr. Flynn!!!
