Andrea and Liza are also incredibly kind and welcoming--they make every visit comfortable from the moment I walk in. I originally went in because years of grinding my teeth had started chipping them away, to the point where I actually broke one. Dr. Hamdan recommended trying Botox for my TMJ and grinding. I had never had Botox before, and it honestly wasn't something I was looking to do. But if it meant protecting my teeth, I was willing to give it a try. Two weeks later, I can confidently say my grinding has decreased by about 80%. I barely clench my jaw anymore, the constant pressure and soreness are gone, and it's made a huge difference in my day-to-day comfort. As a bonus, it even slimmed my jawline a bit! Between the Botox treatment and my new crown, I'm extremely happy with the results. I couldn't recommend Dr. Hamdan and her team enough

She numbed me with novocaine and then kept asking "does that feel ok now." I had no idea what she was doing or what "ok" meant. I'm completely numb, how am I supposed to know that I'm biting on a filling? So she just kept shaving more and more of my tooth off. When I accused her of being rushed in an email I was told that she took her time. So I guess I will say that she very thoughtfully and methodically shaved the inside of my molar flat and to a tiny sharp point. For weeks until I could get into another dentist I chewed on one side and had headaches and jaw pain. I can't believe that my bite is never going to line up and again and my tooth will feel misshapen and deformed from now on. Now the right side of my jaw clicks because my teeth don't line up. I wake up every morning in shock because I can't believe someone would do this to me. On top of that, this "dentist" and the rest of the staff seem to have no idea what's going on. When I initially came in for a cleaning I asked for an out-of-pocket quote for a mouthguard and was told it was a little over $500. Also, I asked about making an appointment for both the cavity and to fix a loose filling, but was told to only do one at a time. When I get there for my filling appointment I was told that the appointment was for both, even though I only made the appointment for the cavity filling. I was also told by the receptionist that they hadn't heard back about the night guard. Then 10 minutes later the "dentist" tells me that insurance denied it and it was about $900. On top of that, when I told them what I was originally quoted for, they basically called me a liar saying they have no idea how I would even get that information. After she ruined my tooth, she did offer for me to come back and look at it, but if this person can't even complete a routine filling without ruining my tooth, I would have to be crazy to go back and let her cause more damage. I had to go to another dentist who was absolutely shocked at how horrible of a job she did. He did his best to smooth it out, but it's still jagged and catches my tongue. On top of that, they billed my insurance and billed me and then wouldn't even reply to my email when I told them they owed me a reimbursement.

Me being new to the area we searched for the closest place and found Pebblewood Dental. They took my mom in right away and she saw Dr. Mendiola. My mom was hoping for something temporary until she returned home. Dr. Mendiola was honest with her in telling her that he did not want to charge her for a temporary fix and if she just kept it clean in the meantime to get it fixed with her dentist back home she should be just fine. Also, he did not charge my mom for the exam since he was unable to provide any type of service other then the exam. My mom and I were shocked. He was not looking out to just make money off of us, he was honest and caring! He was also very thorough and knowledgeable in explaining as to why the temporary fix wasn't necessary! Also, because of this great experience, I decided to return for myself. I was unable to find care for my 11 month old and Dr. Mendiola told me it was perfectly fine to bring him in. I can't explain to you how wonderful and patient all the staff members were to me and my son. Lets just say I will be hiring a babysitter for my next visit for my personal sanity but if I ever needed to bring him with me again I can trust that I have a wonderful staff to make my son and I feel comfortable. I highly recommend this place to all my family and friends!

I went in today for a cleaning and an issue with a tooth where a crown hadn't been properly put on, and I've had sensitivity in that tooth for a couple of years. Each time ai expressed this to them, I was told it would get better. Today they recommended putting dental filling on the gap where the root is exposed and then trying to charge me $25 for numbing cream rather than fix the issue. It's unfortunate, but I will not be returning. I understand mistakes happen, but to offer to put a band aid on a prior error and then ask me to pay for cream to dull the pain is a rather poor customer experience.

My new dentist did a very poor job addressing my problems. My new fillings are rough to the touch and sharper than my chipped tooth was previously. One of the main reasons I went was not addressed and the tooth next to it was drilled instead. On top of that the dental hygienist used a slew of terms that are not even dental terms to describe my teeth telling me they would fall out by the time I was an age I pretty much already am. I have considerable dental work and this is by far the worst I've gotten. Probably will find someone else to redo the work I had done. Honestly atrocious experience, I do not recommend at all and will be changing dentists.
