I cracked a tooth on a Wednesday night and by Thursday I was sitting in a chair at Ace Dental - By Friday they were extracting two wisdom teeth. The appointment was lighting fast and super affordable. The staff and Dentist are amazing and go above and beyond to make you feel super comfortable. The only issue was getting connected with someone at the elston location. The number listed on Yelp is disconnected. I recommend calling the Lombard location to get an appointment in Chicago. The office is super clean and very state of the art. The only feedback i have is i felt the dental assistant forgot to provide post op care instructions and I had to ask for the paperwork. I love at the Chicago location they have a pharmacy inside and I was able to fill my prescriptions right there on the spot. read more

Avoid Dr. Saeed, he missed my vein 3x for sedation, resulting in me waking up during surgery. He also said my skin was so translucent that I need some sun and my bf (who I don't have) to take me to Cancun. When I woke up and was shaking and crying he still continued the surgery and then questioned how I could handle getting a tattoo if I can't sit for this. Absolute nightmare of a practice! There have been multiple things over the years since my treatment started there that have been extraordinarily bad but this last one takes the cake. Scheduled for Botox injections for jaw muscle pain that I never had before I started going there and they messed up my teeth. They call me the day of my appointment to confirm it and then call me back an hour later and say oh by the way, we don't have enough of the Botox so we have to reschedule you to Thursday. I get a call Wednesday afternoon "oh the provider that does the Botox injections isn't going to be here tomorrow, but we didn't know that". That is an outright lie because when I scheduled the initial appointment, I was part of the conversation about the provider being out of town on vacation. This is not the first time that they have lied to me, but I can promise you it will be the last. Stay away. Stay far far away. read more

The worst. Every time I spoke to a representative of Ace Dental, they changed how long it would take for me to have the final Zirconia Dentures. At first it was supposed to be acrylic for the first 6 to 9 months until final healing of the screws took place, and gradually this time period was reduced to 3 weeks. At first they said that they would change the acrylic dentures until I was satisfied with the look and that was reduced to they give me whatever their technician made for them and I wouldn't have much to say about the look. The whole operation seems to be a "say anything" operation. Worse still, they denied ever making the promises that they made when I went to my consultation visit. I had taken notes. I read back those notes to them before I left. It seemed that they were trying to speed up the final process so they could get every bit of their money as fast as possible regardless of patient satisfaction. So, I asked for another consultation appointment where I intended to make them put every promise they made in writing and sign the document. This seemed to make them very angry. The final time I spoke to them by phone, their representative kept shouting me down every time I asked her any question. Whenever I spoke, the Ace representative would resume shouting over whatever I was asking so I couldn't even ask the question. Finally, I realized that this behavior was indicative of when kind of treatment I would receive if I was in any way unhappy with the implant dentures. So, while she was shouting, I kept repeating the words, "Don't call me back. I am not doing business with you." It took about 7 or 8 times of my repeating that sentence before she finally heard me and stopped shouting. In conclusion, these people are extremely rude and unprofessional. They will promise anything in order to get the money that you have earmarked for fixing your teeth as fast as possible regardless of your satisfaction. When spending an amount of money equivalent to that of the cost of a new luxury SUV, I am very careful. It's a good thing too because in an industry as unregulated as the dental industry, anything goes and the consumer is at extreme risk. Don't risk your hard earned money at Ace Dental Center. I will start by saying Dr. Saeed & his thoughtfully selected & Well trained team have got to be the BEST!! Now why would I say such a thing, and what makes me qualified to say it?! I was born with numerous dental problems & my parents spent a lot of time & money on my teeth & gums. I didn't make it better either with poor dental Hygiene. However, as an adult, I have been meticulous about the care of my teeth. Despite my best efforts, high expense, & many dentists; my teeth were getting worse. As a result of my latest career, I needed a dentist available on weekends. Ace Dental fit that criteria. As an added bonus they also had multiple locations - Nice! So I setup an appointment and interviewed with Dr. Saeed & Ahmed who handled the financial aspects. They gave me an extensive 4 step plan that should have been extremely expensive beyond the shadow of a doubt. So when I was told my out of pocket amount, I was blown away. I just knew I was being suckered in & they were going to hit me with more out pocket cost later on this '4 step plan of theirs!' However, that never happened. They even allowed me to pay my out of pocket in payments to avoid the need to finance it. I should also ad that I paid my part quick before they came to their senses - which was not necessary, they knew exactly what they were doing. Anyway, although I was skeptical of the low cost quoted, I decided I was going to go with Dr. Saeed because also in the interview Dr. Saeed said something that had a huge impact on me. He said that he spends so much of his time on cosmetic dentistry that he has virtually no time to do checkups & cleanings. Dr. Saeed furthermore said, he probably does more than any other doctor in Chicago. At that moment, I thought of something . . . I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times. Bruce Lee Dr. Saeed is this man! His work has to be good having done so much in the area of cosmetic dentistry. And with pricing this low, he's got to be extremely busy doing the same kick 10,000 times! My previous bad experiences was with dentist who said they do Cosmetic dentistry but in actuality, they spent the majority of the time on other than & was practicing Cosmetic dentistry on me . . . Had my braces taken off a week ago at the lombard location and am very disappointed in the results. My teeth are not straight and it seemed like they just wanted to push me out as quick as possible. I told the doctor that i wasn't happy with my teeth and she said "no they look great" each time i spoke up. nothing in my mouth is okay. Ok, I'm not gonna lie - this was not the first place I went to for a consult regarding my wisdom teeth. It was actually the third. The first two I went to I didn't feel compelled to go to, and the last guy was actually rude to me so I decided to get one final consult - so glad I did!!! I have to say, I was really skeptical once I heard they don't put you to sleep for the procedure. However, Dr. Saeed completely put me at ease with his confidence and "bedside manner" if you will - very easy to talk to, down to earth, keeps it real. I was VERY nervous when I went back to the office, but after I was numbed up it literally took about 5 minutes for him to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth out, one partially impacted and one almost fully impacted. I was bracing myself for the worst, but there wasn't even any pain. I can't believe it went so smoothly, and it honestly would have been silly to get anesthesia for that short time frame. So far, I haven't even needed the pain pills - only took 3 and they are just high dose Ibuprofen. I go back next week for a checkup - hopefully all is good. This is an honest review of my overall experience and how I feel after two years of getting veneers at this place. The process was honestly very stressful and I felt like the doctor didn't care on what I wanted and envisioned for my teeth. They had a digital software that showed what the best fit for your face would be. It honestly looked way to big for my face. My original teeth were NEVER that big. Yet they tried to convince me it would fit my face. After going back and forth and expressing my concern they made them a little smaller but I still felt that they were way too big. After yet another tug with them which took forever they had made them a little smaller but at that point there was no return because they made that on the final veneers that would be going in my mouth. Prior to this I had an appointment they canceled the day of without calling me. They just texted me as I was on my way there. I called off for work and everything for this appointment I made in advance and they just cancelled it and only texted me which I thought was super unprofessional. And then the day I got my veneers, Dr. Saeed told me I should get a lip flip on my top lip. I never asked his opinion but he told me for the picture to wear makeup and to get a few drops of filler on my top lip. I have never once been insecure about my lips. In fact, throughout my life I've gotten so many compliments on them and this one comment that I thought was inappropriate. Because he said my bottom lip was fine but my top lip should get a lip flip. Really has affected me. Now I think about getting one and everyone around me tells me it would not suit me. My parents are really upset and wanted to speak to him for saying that but I told them I really don't want to ever go back. I think it was super unprofessional and honestly inappropriate. It's been 2 years since I got my veneers. Not one. Not one person has complimented them. And my own family trying to be kind tells me it looks fine. That's all. But my family was honest with me and told me it looked way to big for my face which I expected and look like super fake and too box like. I really wished the staff at Ace Dental took their time and listened to what I had to say. I honestly wish I never got my veneers. And I will definitely have to get them redone somewhere else. 2 years later I'm still paying for them because they cost so much and every time a payment is due and they contact me it hurts to know I am and have payed thousands of dollars for this whole situation. Honestly I would recommend to do research and if you still go with this place to really communicate and tell them exactly what you want and listen to what you know is best for yourself. When I got my wisdom teeth out I had a better experience and that's why I thought this experience would go well but it honestly went the complete opposite and that in an extreme way. OK, this is my third update on Delta. As you can see below, I was pretty unhappy several years back when it looked like the orthodonture did not achieve the desired results, and I didn't feel like we got good communication from ACE about the whole procedure. Dr. Saeed, the son who has taken over the practice, got in touch and offered to follow up. He did, and I updated with the four-star review, withholding the last star until we saw the results. The long wait is over (I know you've all be anxiously wondering how this would come out) and my daughter got her braces off this past week. The results are terrific! The overbite seems fully corrected. The teeth are straight and pearly and beautiful. The office was so hospitable and professional. We couldn't be happier. I'm a fan. I highly recommend ACE for braces. In fact, my daughter needs to get her wisdom teeth out, and I think we'll be back at ACE for this (have to check the insurance, but if it's covered, I can't see a reason to go anywhere else.) I came to Ace because of the good reviews, but I had a terrible experience. Short version: The office was disorganized and I did not feel as if the staff was concerned about putting my needs as the patient first. The doctor himself was much too rough with my cleaning and was very condescending when he spoke about the work I needed done, not to mention he quoted my needing thousands of dollars worth of work I later learned I did not actually need. I felt the entire staff, while friendly, lacked professionalism for the sake of trying to be the "cool" doctor. I would not recommend Ace Dental. Long version: First, I came in for their free consultation. I was led into a room for x-rays that also looked like it doubled as a storage closet. The room was cluttered and disorganized and I was surprised they would bring patients into a room like that. I thought they were a fairly new office though, so I let it go. I met with the doctor who was very nice and emphasized that he wanted me to feel at home, as if he were a friend. I was apprehensive, but I always am at the dentist so I gave him the benefit of the doubt and scheduled my appointment. The day I came in I sat for almost two hours before they even brought me back to a room. I was about to get up and leave when they finally called me back. But that was a mistake, so I was returned to the waiting room for another ten minutes before they were actually ready. In order to get there I had to walk through an open, hallway like area with people being worked on, so not everyone gets a private room. I do not like the idea of random people being able to walk through my dentist appointment and so I was uneasy from the get go. I also went through the x-ray room I had been in for my consultation and it was still just as cluttered and disorganized as it had been two months previously. Next I was taken to a private room, but the door was left open. Random staff members were walking in and out of my room to have leisurely conversations with each other while I waited for the doctor. It made me uncomfortable and not well taken care of. It just seemed way too laid back and unprofessional. The doctor finally came in to work on me and I was merely getting a cleaning. I get anxious being at the dentist and he did nothing to make me feel better. He kept telling me I was fine in a dismissive manner. He also snapped at his assistant as they were working on my teeth, which made me even more anxious that they didn't know what they were doing. The doctor was incredibly rough with me and then scolded me about all the work I still needed done and that he needed to lecture me about proper teeth brushing. He quoted me as needing nearly $4000 worth of work. I left the office feeling even more anxious than when I arrived and ended up in tears it was such a horrible experience. After going to another dentist, I was told I only needed about $800 worth of work done, not $4000 like Ace Dental quoted me. Needless to say, I am very glad I did not go back to Ace Dental. I would've given them a zero if possible, but as I said the one redeeming quality of the place was that the staff was at least friendly. read more
