What stood out was how hard the staff worked to sort it out. Erin, the store manager, Kyle from the auto section, and several other associates all jumped in and genuinely tried to help. The nice blonde "roamer" as well as the young lady in the Chicago Bears at the front were great! In the end, Erin suggested canceling the order and purchasing it at the Broomfield location, which I did. Even so, the Loveland staff went out of their way to assist. Great customer service and excellent value overall.

I went to explore the new Jax recently, to see if her quote held true. My first impression was that they really did a nice job with the conversion. The only trace of the building's past is the old floor tiles, but that is nitpicking. Everything else is fresh and new, if you didn't look down you would never know. I didn't see a firearms counter, so it is either well hidden or they haven't got one. The cafe area is not open yet, but looks really nice. And I have never seen such a variety of candy in my life (apart from that one time that reclusive candy maker hid a ticket inside my candy bar and I got to tour his factory, watch some weird musical numbers, and eventually took over the factory from him). I want to especially call out Ilyssa, who was the Department Manager for the Work and Western Wear area. The very moment I stepped into her domain, she was there to offer assistance. She immediately pointed out their special Labor Day sales, and darn it if I didn't leave her section feeling like I wanted some Work and/or Western Wear. It is now under the name Bomgarrs and…read morethey are very different in quality so I will go ahead and kill two birds with one stone here by reviewing The Mercantile and Bomgarrs. As The Mercantile this was a great place. The overall quality of the merchandise was good! They had ranch and farming clothes, supplies, feed for all of your rural yard pets, gardening supplies, some building supplies and more! The thing that drew me to The Mercantile almost every year(and I am NOT a farm and ranch person, despite being raised on a ranch) was going to see the little baby birds that they sold. They had baby geese, turkeys, chickens and ducks! All very adorable and very tempting to buy! I have the property to have these birds as pets but I live near a pasture and there are foxes all over so I know that they wouldn't last two seconds at my house and unfortunately I don't have suitable accommodations for them. Now onto Bomgarrs. I would give them anywhere between 2.5 and 3 stars. When I was in here a few days ago I was expecting it to be more or less the same as the Mercantile, just the name change. While that is more or less true as to what happened there are differences that the picky consumer would notice. Some of the merchandise is not quite as high quality that The Mercantile had. Some things seemed very cheap looking and the prices didn't necessarily reflect that on everything. They did have baby birds still but only a handful of chicks which looked dirty, slightly sickly and wings that looked like they got ruffed up a bit like they into a fight. There were no other baby birds here but chickens this time though there were other cages than just the three occupied ones that were here but nothing was in them. Bomgarrs also seems to have an expanded hardware section that I didn't notice as much with The Mercantile as well as lawn furniture. In the hardware section I was looking at chainsaws that I was pondering on buying because I have a tree that should be sawed down at home. There wasn't really a modest price range with the chainsaws. Maybe since I don't have a clue about chainsaws that they all come between $170-$500 but if I remember correctly from last year browsing for one there were more modestly priced ones out there and seemed liked they would hold together after you started sawing. they had a chainsaw that was about $60.00 but looked like it couldn't hold up for very long. Bomgarrs has about all of the same merchandise as The Mercantile did after those said differences. I can't say that I won't ever go back to Bomgarrs but the overall impression was not very high as to when it was under The Mercantile moniker. The Mercantile must have sold to another company or something if there is that many 'subtle' differences going on.

I try to…read moreshop local and I love the North College store, they are always helpful and always offer carry out, even though I've never taken them up on it. but this location is on my way home from work. I knew what I was looking for and brought it to the front. The employee was annoyed because I did not put my bag of dog food on the counter where she wanted it. I couldn't tell which register she was at and set it on the counter near the east door. She was standing in the middle of the two registers. She slammed it down on the center counter and proceeded to complete the check out process. She seemed really frustrated and bothered that she had to stop what she was doing to help. Very disappointed in the service I received today.

We've been here several times mainly for treats. I have a German shepherd who is hard to walk…read more I've tried multiple collars and harnesses to no avail. I either have to walk her at night with limited distractions or we don't walk. If we don't walk she gets very antsy and paces constantly. I was speaking about this to one associate and another overheard me who apparently had the same breed and issue. She showed me the harness she uses and told me to bring it back if it didn't fit or didn't help with my issue. First walk...amazing. It doesn't choke my dog by pulling against her neck but absolutely helps with the insistent pulling and yanking. We were able to go for a 1.5 miles today with one of my other dogs with no issue. She couldn't wiggle out of it and it was super helpful with guiding her on where I needed/wanted her to go instead of the pulling. Her overall demeanor after the walk was night and day too. I think it was just an easier walk overall for both of us which was so much more enjoyable.
