I'm very disappointed in the store and the new management as the store used to be run wonderfully by Luke however, he sold the business to people that obviously don't care about customer satisfaction.

I went to explore the new Jax recently, to see if her quote held true. My first impression was that they really did a nice job with the conversion. The only trace of the building's past is the old floor tiles, but that is nitpicking. Everything else is fresh and new, if you didn't look down you would never know. I didn't see a firearms counter, so it is either well hidden or they haven't got one. The cafe area is not open yet, but looks really nice. And I have never seen such a variety of candy in my life (apart from that one time that reclusive candy maker hid a ticket inside my candy bar and I got to tour his factory, watch some weird musical numbers, and eventually took over the factory from him). I want to especially call out Ilyssa, who was the Department Manager for the Work and Western Wear area. The very moment I stepped into her domain, she was there to offer assistance. She immediately pointed out their special Labor Day sales, and darn it if I didn't leave her section feeling like I wanted some Work and/or Western Wear. We have had chickens for going on three years now. We have also lived like 10 min from this place…read morefor three years too... and we didn't know it! We love going to feed stores for our chickens' feed and treats. But we thought the closest one was near Aspen Park. Weren't we pleasantly surprised! We got our chickens a new type of feed (made in Colorado as well!) And 5 lbs of homemade chicken scratch for way cheaper than Murdochs, Tractor Supply, or Big R! Plus, my chickens seem to love this Agland high protein feed way better than the Purina we have been getting from Murdochs. Another added benefit of shopping here is that it's all tax-free! The gentleman told me that's because it's considered agricultural. Plus, you can't beat small business customer service! The gentleman who helped us was super friendly and very informative.
