From bandaids to food wrappers to hair ties to grocery bags -- it's all in the sand. The play structures are old. In looking at photos, they are at least a decade old and it shows. Things are weathered and warped. The grassy areas are very nice. There are lots of paved paths. The parking lot is really big. There is a small area of covered patio tables, and there are a lot of benches. Oh, and there are bees. In fact, there are signs warning about the bees. Not great for kids.

I really liked how the rec center provided 4 nets & all these pickleballs! This is the first time I've seen a rec center provide SO MANY balls. I really liked that the court outlines were clear and one singular color. It makes it way less confusing. I also liked that there's plenty of room for running/getting between baselines and the benches. Also loved that they used benches instead of bleachers. NO MORE PAINFUL clawing under bleachers/peoples' feets for smashed balls that rolled underneath. The wait gets pretty long here (prob 25-30min/game and you only get to play up to 8 when there is a crowd. Winners stay and can play up to 2 games (they split off in the second game). I like this system, as it balances out the skill set. Everyone faithfully honored this system, and would get out after their 2 games.

I had to find a way to post a review of the league because it is without question, the WORST experience I've ever had in a rec basketball league (and I've played in most in the SD area). They are without doubt the worst run league in San Diego county. The officiating is consistently awful - in multiple cases we had to explain the rules TO THE OFFICIAL. What's worse, they show clear favoritism to those in the league (same 2 teams every season) where the officials have personal relationships with some of the players, and ZERO consistency from week to week, or from team to team in terms of how they call the game. Im not usually one to complain about bad officiating, but with these guys it's sooo atrocious that it almost has to be intentional. I've seen plenty of poorly officiated games and leagues before, but I've never before felt cheated as I did after one season in this league. These guys are incompetent and I would highly recommend that those seeking a good adult mens basketball league seek elsewhere. I know for myself I will never again give them a single red cent of my money. If I could give a zero star review I would.

Not a well run club. Little to no communication on events, sports season timing, what new, etc,…read more You can leave a message but they never get back to you. They never have the information you need at the time if you do get a hold of them. Lots of potential here just need some leadership.

We've never felt more welcomed or as part of a church community than we do here. Restoration Church is truly a Jesus-centered church for all people--no matter who you are or where you are on your journey, whether you're new to faith or have been in church your whole life. The church (as the mission statement says) genuinely empowers all people to love and follow Jesus. The pastors and leadership are not only passionate about their mission, but they also deeply care about the growth of the people. They are focused on building up the individuals within the church, not just growing the church. If you are looking for a different kind of church - one that encourages personal growth and transformation not through pressure or rules, but through the natural result of loving and following Jesus, Restoration Church is it! If you are searching for a new church or have even given up on church altogether, we encourage you to give Restoration a try. As yet another plus of Restoration Church, the worship team is AMAZING!!

There is a main room with vaulted ceilings, a full-service kitchen, a grand lobby with Indian stone tile, and a plaza and gardens outside. Mainly, the facility is used for a variety of different church functions, fellowship and community events but is often opened up for use by the public. The two-story, $8 million dollar, 37,494 square-foot facility off Pomerado Road is quite impressive. The facility was built back in the turbulent recession of 2008. According to a story in the Pomerado News, "The Roman Catholic Diocese of San Diego, which asks a parish to have funding at least one-third to one-half of a project's total cost before breaking ground, gave St. Michael's its blessing to begin work." Generous contributions, donations and offerings by parishioners of St. Michael's allowed the Holy Family Center to spring to life in 2009. This is impressive since the times were rough but "despite tough economic times, St. Michael's families are showing their support for a project that will be beneficial for children, as well as adults, for years to come," said the Pomerado News. The large auditorium is great because it has the capability of being divided into three separate meeting spaces, if needed. This allows for any number of uses which will ease up facility congestion during busy holiday and school graduation periods. This coming Easter Sunday, the Church plans masses not just in the Church, but also in the Holy Family Center. That is how valuable a place the Holy Family Center really is to the Parish. 4 YELP STARS.
