The PGA store botched my very expensive leather grips and installed them poorly so I needed a competent professional to correct the sloppy work . My PXG fitter was truly an ace, first class gentleman, and fully accommodating. My request was completed well within 24 hours and my clubs were presented to me as good as new. I am a loyal long time PXG customer and will continue to be based on my recent experience at the New Rochelle Westchester location. I HIGHLY recommend stopping into this new facility. They primarily carry women's clothing, jewelry and accessories (tending towards the funky side), as well as a few home accessories, games, etc. Most of it is out of my budget, but it's great to browse, and there's always the clearance rack or a couple of other lucky finds. Unique and bright, it adds a lot of color to preppy Bronxville :) They also have a Manhattan store, which I hope to check out soon.

Hilda and her daughter had accepted to take in my dress and that they would have it tailored in time for my wedding. They were so kind and accommodating, and they have tailored my dress to absolute perfection (even cutting all the layers of tulle to make sure it fit my height perfectly without losing the beautiful train and embroidery). We normally purchase every year from Repertoire in Scarsdale. The taps were uncomfortable in the heel, but the salesman said we could double up on socks or use tape. On returning home, we compared to the previous year's taps, and found a huge difference in quality. The other taps were smooth and soft inside, wearable from the time of purchase. Even with the school discount, the difference in price was just a few dollars, so we returned to our old store, and they sold us some excellent comfy taps. ***On returning to Centre Stage the following week, they offered store credit. I understand this, if that's their policy. When the woman opened the box, she said "These have been used!" in a very nasty voice. She pointed to some small indentations in the hard leather bottom. The shoes were pristine white all over, including inside the indentations. I had to repeat several times that we only wore them in the shop once and never took them to dance class. She gave the the credit slip with the most angry look on her face. Did she really think we abused the shoes for a week, re-painted them white, and came back to get our $25? ***If the shoes had really been used, then they sold them to us used. I should have asked for a full refund. But outside of that, what kind of business sense is that, to be nasty to a member of a school dance group? For merchandise quality and attitude, this shop gets one star.
