It helps your photographer out a lot when you come with a "shot list" (list of ideas for how you want to take pics/poses). For my business photos I did 3 outfit changes and the vibes never became dull throughout our hours together, which is so needed for this process. During our shoot with my sorority sisters on campus, he made all 4 of us feel comfortable and that's just a gift. He's hilarious, personable, and makes you feel super comfortable behind the camera. He has consistently turned pics around in less than 2 weeks. Shane is my go to photographer and I truly appreciate all that he does and who he is to capture meaningful moments in my life. Everyone deserves to have a professional shoot pics of them at various moments in their life and you want to do that with someone who makes you feel comfortable. He's patient and doesn't mind taking his time to make sure you get what you want from the process. The process: I email him to schedule the shoot with details, location, number of people, and purpose of the shoot. He responds ASAP. Payment is sent via invoice and I love that so I can pay with my CC (for flight points). It's professional and I love that. Photos are delivered via a link afterwards for you to be able to access and you can save the pics from there.

I've had the pleasure of working with Elyse on a number of photo shoots. Initially, she took…read morematernity photos and then photos of my newborn daughter. Ultimately, I happily used Elyse to capture my business. As a local small business owner, Elyse encouraged me to develop a branding strategy that would tell a story on my business website and social media outlets. I really wanted the photos to enhance my mission, but also show the real me! We worked in a professional studio setting where Elyse took hundreds of photos over the course of 5 hours. There was no rushing and I felt so heard! She did an amazing job of listening to what I wanted, while also suggesting ideas that would make my vision that much better. It's obvious Elyse puts a lot of time and hard work into delivering quality photos. During post production she clearly takes the extra hours to comb through the details-things that I wouldn't normally deem important (ie symmetry, complimentary colors, and proper lighting.) She is a perfectionist, so I trusted that she would take the time to make sure I'd be happy with the end result. One of the biggest differences between Elyse and most other photographers that I've worked with is this: she makes you feel super comfortable while guiding you on how to pose. As a woman this is so crucial because it's really difficult to find a flattering stance. I never know how to stand or smile! I also have a hard time just looking natural. Elyse helped me figure this out in like 5 minutes! It always felt like Elyse had my back when creating images for me and my brand. I couldn't recommend her more. Aside from being super knowledgeable in her field, she truly has an eye for what looks incredible and I would recommend her to anyone who wants the very best photos.

So much so that I have four of his black and whites up in my dining room. The first thing people notice when entering that room are the photographs. The first time I saw his work was at McLean Animal Hospital. He used to be a photographer with UPI and began working for himself. There were some postcards about the artist in the waiting room so I took one and got in touch. At the time I had a specialty retail store and I called to let him know he's welcome to display his work there. It added so much to the decor and feel of the place. He certainly wasn't the cheapest but he had the most impressive body of work. We hired him for our quinceanera, and did he deliver. My daughter unfortunately takes after her mother-inlaw.
