Before the end of my last session, my Physical Therapist Aide said, "We are all done here, and I hope we don't see you again." Now, before you criticize, let me tell the amazing job they did. My insurance scheduled 5 sessions with me. The first session was sort of an introduction and assessment of my needs. You know, arrive early to complete paperwork, make payment, and be introduced to the facility. The front desk secretaries are excellent at their job. They are social, quick, and multi-taskers. Pro-tip: If you want consistency in your therapy, schedule your sessions ahead of time with the front desk. If possible, don't cancel or reschedule. You are likely to get the same trainers, assistants, and aides, and you can grow with your routine. I don't recall it being busy in the seating area because there is a Physical Aide Therapist that pops their head out the door to call your name within minutes of checking in with the front desk. My initial meeting was quick, almost overwhelming, because so much goes on in this one large room. Cardio equipment, seats, massage tables (not the type you get at a spa but the types you see in a sports locker room), and colorful latex bands hanging over equipment. There is also a therapy pool where clients are doing exercises. Lots going on. There's no lounging around here. With the exception of the clients and their physical pherapy needs, there is always a Physical Therapist Aide turning off a timer, working with a client (maybe 2 or more at a time), wiping down benches, updating your chart, or standing by while a client is stretching. And by standing by, they are not hovering. They are literally standing a distance away, so you can do your exercise on your own. Meanwhile, the actual physical therapist (whom you meet initially) is on the side reading notes or heading over to speak with or work with clients. I remember asking my Physical Therapist Aide a question, and he didn't just give me an answer. He said he would ask for me, and the Physical Therapist appeared while I stretched to thoroughly answer my question. This place is attentive to your needs, and as long as you do your exercises, the healing process will continue. Thus, the reason they hope to not see you again: because you have learned and gone through the therapy to know how to take care of yourself. And that is what I did. You go here for therapy, training, and learning. It caters to a variety of clients, including young athletes. My specific condition is likely to return, but I now know some preventive strategies that will help support me. It's good to know that I can always call to ask questions. read more

So, I was referred by Kaiser to this location, which was awesome. But it looks like I mixed up my dates. I thought my appointment was on the 15th instead of the 14th of this month. That time won't work for me because I work during the week, except for Tuesdays when I get off earlier. I tried to reschedule, but they said they don't have any later appointments available...they always book at 3:30 for the initial, and they don't do Tuesdays at all. Since I can't take a whole day off work, and they weren't able to accommodate my schedule, I asked them to just cancel it. I totally understand they have their set hours, so I let them know I'd call Kaiser back to see if I could get referred somewhere else. But while I was still on the phone talking to the receptionist, she just said "okay" and hung up on me. It was incredibly rude, totally unnecessary, and really disappointing. read more

I love the staff here. They are so professional and always kind. I go for water therapy and everyone here is so helpful. The pool area is large. There are 2 changing rooms with lockers. There's weights, floats, and dumbbells all for the water. They do offer water aerobics classes (I personally don't know too much about them) and open water workouts. They have sports therapy and water therapy. Your physical therapy experience will be a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Rancho Physical Therapy has a pool for water therapy. I love the water therapy. It is a way for me to exercise and not be in pain for a little while. The water is soothing to all the sore muscles. I can get better stretching in the warm pool water. I exercise on the steps to slowly build up my knee strength. I leave feeling so much better physically and mentally! read more

Had therapy there for a full knee replacement before Covid they were amazing. So much so that when I was the last person to have surgery when Covid hit for my 2nd knee replacement I was able to do all my own exercises at home. No one was permitted to go to therapy. I was on my own. Both knees are healed. The second one did take a bit longer but with what I learned at Rancho I implemented at home. I set up my own gym. Last October I had a total hip replacement. I was going to Allstar Physical therapy and went for 5 or 6 months but was at a plato. So I went back to the ortho and told him I was still having pain. So he order more PT. So I wanted to try another place maybe one with aquatic therapy. It's been three weeks now and I haven't done the aquatics yet. But I started a new treatment plan with weights and the typical stretches but I am finally getting some relief. I feel like my legs and hips are a little stronger. I think the key was using weights. Allstar had no machines with weights. All we did was just stretching and maybe 2 times ankle weights. Just so glad I found this place. It has everything I need to get myself back on track so I can get myself back to the gym and do this on my own. I'm starting to do more things I couldn't do before and now I can do things longer without taking a break. Every week seems a little stronger and less pain. Definitely less spasms. I love this place. Hands down the best therapists I've worked with. And I've been through a few over the last couple of months. Susan and Cari are awesome. Always willing to work with me when I'm unable to do certain exercises due to physical limitations. And the rest of the staff is very hands on with all the patients. They even offer gym memberships for 20 bucks a month. Can't beat that. I actually had to buy one because there has been a lapse in my therapy due to a lagging insurance company. I get access to all the same gym equipment and there are no restrictions when it comes to using it along side actual therapy patients. They even have a pool! I went in today for my second visit. It was supposed to be the second half of my evaluation since I was going for my neck and back. The first evaluated my neck and I was told today was to evaluate my back so they could start treatment. Instead a (so called) trainer wanted to put me on a bicycle. When I told him I didn't think that was right he looked at me like a clerk at McDonalds when you ask for no pickles. Then apparently his boss came over and then got my therapist who confirmed that's what they wanted me to do. How can you start therapy when the evaluations aren't even done? If you choose to go here prepare to be disappointed. read more

I made fast progress following my 2nd hip replacement, thanks to the folks at Rancho. Randy and Kari were great at recognizing me as a gym rat who needed a lot of independence, while guiding me or asking questions about how I felt. Randy provided more advanced exercises each week, and the time flew by. If you are one of those people who enjoys working out, headphones on, rock music motivating you, without a PT in your face every two minutes,then this is a great place. If you need constant guidance, they will provide that as well, for I witnessed those folks getting the requisite help they needed. This venue has everything most gyms offer, as well as a pool for an additional price. I had another PT venue after my first hip replacement and it was very limited, while the PT were not well trained. In fact, I found out that some of what I was doing was actually dangerous. These folks are cautious but not confining. read more
