I called the manufacturer who told me that my saw was defective and was covered under warranty. They told me to take it here and they would fix it. When I took it in on 11/7/19 Tori told me there was a $30 diagnostic fee. I said I didn't want to pay this since the saw costs about $50. She said she would call me if this was the case. I stressed this a couple of times that she needs should call me as I didn't want to pay for this. I never got a call so I called and Tori and she said she would call me back in about a week. She never called. Last week I called (2 months later) again and someone told me it was ready to be picked up. I went down there and they said it wasn't fixed and I couldn't have it back unless I paid the $30 fee. If they knew it needed to be diagnosed, they should have charged me this fee upfront as it's stated on the invoice and a sign on the wall that she pointed out to me. read more

You're not, do not I repeat use this company! They have had our ATV gator for over three months and every time we call it's a different excuse. I left a $300 deposit and every time I call now I get a voicemail or a continuous ringing with no pick up. Obviously this is a fraud company and I urge any of you not to use them. I am calling the Better Business Bureau on Monday and hopefully will get my gator and $300 back. Totally useless. read more

The repair technician at this company is very honest , knowledgeable and polite that is the good news! The bad is the nasty, impolite and hugely ignorant woman who owns this business; she sat on the phone with four people in line, nasty remarks if you ask for help or for them to clarify their charges. Find another rental or repair place as if there is any issues, the owner is in a class below belligerent. I had to remind her that a day in Small Claims court Might help adjust her verbal behavior, that seemed to restrain her ignorant behavior. read more

Avoid at all cost. Total Rip off. I dropped off a riding mower. Was told by tori that they would call me. No calls for 2 weeks. When I called in I was given the run around. No body had even looked at the mower yet. Tori is rude, beyond rude. Down right female dog. She must be a miserable human to behave the way she does. Somewhat feel sorry for her. After back and forth for almost a year, they never fixed the mower. When I threatened legal action they dumped it in front of my gate. They never repair your equipment and when they finally look at it, they claim it is beyond repair,but charge $$$ for diagnostic work. The owner Tori is extremely rude. They have tons of lawsuits from crapy customer service. Took the mower to A1 in San Martin and it was repaired for $120 in 3 days. read more

Had my riding mower serviced after it stopped running and they had to pick up and return it to me, and it was done quickly and for a very reasonable fee. When the riding mower stopped working all the worst possible issues went thru my head and when it was returned the only fee I paid was for the pickup/return, so they easily earned my return business. Next time I phoned my belt had broken, and though they could fix it they suggested I may want to look into replacing it myself, which I finally did with a little help of youtube. Clearly this is the first place I will phone with any issue on equipment. read more

Staff is rude, especially the woman who answers the phone (blonde) she is as rude as can be and really this is a way to attract customers??? Don't even think about calling to see how your repair is coming along-be prepared to be spoken to in a rude, unprofessional manner, she needs to get some customer service skills because she has absolutely none. Also get a written estimate while you are there as things change significantly once you leave, get the estimate while you are at the counter. I would not recommed this establishment due to arrogance, rudeness and not valuing their customers business, there are plenty of other places to go for your moving and euqipment needs that I am sure will welcome your business with open arms and treat you with the respect you deserve. read more

I have a Homelite chainsaw that required minor service, Power Equipment Co is the only authorized service in the San Jose area. I took it in, was told it would be four weeks. I called at four weeks, not yet. As closing in on seven weeks I started calling more frequently, I was always told I'd get a call back the next day, this never happened. I finally picked it up after a 30-minute repair. I hope I never need service again as I'll probably throw the Homelite out and buy something that can be serviced much closer to home. Two stars as it was repaired and I don't think I was over-charged. read more

Can I give this company NO stars? I took in a weed whacker / line trimmer to be serviced back in May 2016. I gave them the machine with all parts in the original box. They gave me a paper work order, but it had no estimated completion date. They said after their repairman diagnosed the problem, they would call me. They never did. In July, I called them to check on the status. They said they would have to order parts and they would call me when the parts came in. They never did. I called back in August, then September, then October, then November and each time it was the same runaround. They said they would have to order parts and they would call me when the parts came in (same story each time). They never called me! If I order parts from the Internet, I can usually get them within a week...not six months! I don't know exactly what was going on, or why they wanted to keep my line trimmer in storage. I was actually worried they might have sold it to somebody else! I had no idea they would keep it this long! I called them back again in December 2016 and they told me this part they were waiting for "would take until next January, or maybe February, or maybe March" 2017. That is ridiculous!!! I couldn't get a straight answer about when they were going to repair my broken machine, and now they're telling me it could be almost a YEAR later! I drove to Power Equipment Company in person with the original paperwork and asked the blonde woman at the counter for my line trimmer back. She was very rude and short with me. After checking on her computer, she went in the back and brought out my machine. I checked to see that all the parts were there and left with it. I will now take it to some other equipment repair service center (anywhere but here). read more

I first called and spoke to Ricardo about picking up my dad's tractor mower. I needed to get both of the V-belts replaced on it and couldn't find anybody local to fix. Tried Sears...they only work on Craftsmen...tried local mechanics...couldn't find anyone there either. Steve showed up to my house, picked up the tractor mower and towed it to his shop in Gilroy. Three days later it was returned and delivered, fixed and works great. He even sharpened the blades for free. All this service and labor totaled only $250.00 This place is like a big secret. Just wanted to share my experience with other people who might live in San Jose/Santa Clara and have the same trouble that I did with finding a good reputable Company that services tractor mowers! ZERO STARS...the most rude arrogant unprofessional place i have ever done business with. I was told 30 days to repair 2 pieces of equipment...5 months later...unrepaired and damaged and they could care less... ...today after every excuse and wasted hours of waiting for them...they delivered my ride on mower....they were supposed to call when they got to my gate so i could open it for them...no call....waited 4 hours today alone...i called them....they said we dumped it in front of your gate...yup they did..dumped on the side of the road..i cannot even get my car out of my gate.. i asked them to come put it inside my gate as i am unable to move it....nope they said....we are working.. working? nothing is working at this so called place of business.. shameful... the woman everyone is talking about in the reviews...her name is Tori...she is a piece of work...poison. After 5 MONTHS and hundreds of dollars and listening to every excuse...parts on back order..ha...they did not order them for over 4 months....and then they were just guessing or lying...went shopping...got broken into...had to go on a vacation...and more....i at least have my equipment back...not working and damaged...they did not even give me the key to my ride on mower back... will be taking my equipment elsewhere to have properly repaired read more
