Power has a very slick sales process. That's... about the only positive thing I can say about them. We did a project to replace our soffits, gutters and three of our windows and it's still not done. The gutter crew just never showed up and instead of anyone from Power contacting me, my husband and I had to call them multiple times. When we said AGAIN that they hadn't shown up on Friday night, the response from the customer service rep was that 'we would just have to reschedule'. Not okay. The QA rep came over the next day and was late, rude, defensive, and frankly I felt uncomfortable around him due to his aggressive hostility and his continuing to insist that somehow this was our fault due to not understanding the industry. I will never use these guys again due to their lack of customer focus. read more

This will sound like other reviews, but they are very, very aggressive. I came home after a bike ride to find someone standing on my front porch. He introduced himself, then his partner, whom I didn't see. She jumped off my front porch yelling. I was taken aback. They said they were from Power about my windows and siding, and wanted to give me an estimate. I said I just had the windows done, and I am not interested in siding. They said a salesman would be by later to give me an estimate. What did I just say? They asked if 2 would work, and I said no, again, not interested. (Mind you, they totally ignored my 'No Soliciting' sign prominently on my door.) I thought that was the end of it, but nope, guess what...yep, another knock. The guy who wanted to give me an estimate showed up. What's with these people? I had to again tell this guy no, also while in front of my 'No Soliciting' sign. read more

Update to previous review from November 2020.  It has been 9 weeks since I replied to their outreach on review but have had NO reply. However... had one of their door to door sales people show up at my house this evening.  I tried to stay polite but informed the lady of our experience and that we still had no follow so unless she could get someone to follow up with us we would NOT be interested in having someone come out tonight (it was already 6pm) and I would not schedule again for another date to have someone come out and measure the window for the fourth time. Would be a better review if they actually lived up to their word that want to keep people as repeat customers. We had 2 windows replaced on first job. We were happy with results and had them quote to replace 3 more on front of house, that's were problems started. We wanted a garden window at kitchen sink total no problem, wrong. When pre-install person came to double check measurements were told it wouldn't work without removing a substantial amount of tile on back splash but they wouldn't do that we'd have to do it on our own. Nope no go. Said we'll then do a regular window, told we'd have to have first person come again to requote and then have it done. Ok. Then COVID hit understandable. Install of other two windows delayed again understandable. They were in production and told we come have kitchen one done at a later date. All good. Other two installed eventually and was fine. Requested they come quote for kitchen. Waited and waited. Finally received a follow up call 5 months later. Great please come quote. Asked if my husband would be home. He wouldn't be. Told me they wouldn't come quote without him there. *record scratch* excuse me? Ok call him and schedule with him then. They didn't call for another 5 weeks. All we want and need is last window done and only reason I agreed was because I want windows to match because they are on front of house. ONLY REASON at this point. Estimator came out this evening informed us they wouldn't even quote the one window because it isn't worth their installers' time to do one window. Told unless we have more than one window or other project to do they wouldn't do the work. Key piece to know is at start of this they know we have 4 additional windows on back of house that are not being replaced because they don't need to be. They refused repeat business because it wasn't worth their time. So while windows are nice and work was good, service stinks and their commitment to keeping repeat customers or not being misogynistic when dealing with females is horrendous. And since I can't have windows removed the best I can do is warn others to not use this company. Spend your money elsewhere! read more

A group of two, friendly enough, came by my house because they were "in the area". It became a sales pitch very quickly and while friendly, I was turned off immediately. They then got on a phone call with someone else who wanted to book out appointments for free estimates. This person began selling appointment times and asking me the same questions the team in front of me just asked and pushing me to commit to something I couldn't commit to. I said I wasn't available for appointment times for the next week and they kept selling appointments and pushing for me to book an appointment for something I didn't search out or ask for. Then, yesterday morning I get a call from another sales person who is trying to sell me on appointment times and asking and digging on all the same questions two other people have just asked me 14 hours earlier. They continued pressing and pushing for me to book an appointment time. I was beyond put off and asked to be taken off their lists. Home services are best earned through reputations and recommendations. Not hard sales and pressure on something I didn't ask for. If you are having to be sold to buy a good or service, usually means it's not worth the price. read more

Angelo, Nick, and Michael helped us replace our old rickety sliding glass door. We used to get frost on the inside of the door every time it snowed. Angelo showed us how energy efficient our new door could be and we were sold before he left. Nick was punctual, great with communication, and quick. Michael installed our glass door and was an absolute angel. We'll be requesting him for our front door install as well. Very transparent and trustworthy company. Also who else is going to give you a lifetime warranty on glass and screens? PS. When we had our quality inspector, Brian, came over we ended up getting a front door from him too. Pushy and shady sales tactics - Untrustworthy - Overpriced My wife and I had 5 windows replaced by Power in 10/2020. Every chance this company gets to try to make a sales pitch they will. Constantly juggling price so you never feel like you're getting a fair deal. They use lots of "either sign here saying you'll take this deal now or you lose the opportunity, no cancellations, no discussion." Despite the fact that I have a screaming baby I'm trying to feed and get to sleep, can't even get the night to discuss it with my wife and look at our finances. During the install the workers left our door wide open and let our cat out. My wife had to go running after her with our newborn baby in her hands, really not an ideal scene. And during a global pandemic, despite a statewide order, and a newborn at home, multiple workers and the salesperson still just came walking into our home without masks. I don't care what your beliefs are on this issue, if you're working in people's homes you should be wearing a mask until the homeowner tells you that you don't have to if you do not wish to. read more

Edit: adding one star back after my family's warranty repair was finally done only after a lot of complaining. I still think the service in listening to and resolving the issue was abysmal and will not be recommending. My best wishes to anyone who needs to use their warranty and expects to explain a problem only one time and see it fixed. They cannot do what they promise to do whenever they corner you in your front yard to pitch it to you, so don't buy in. As soon as you need help they pass you around to agents in offices all over the country like a sack of potatoes and not a single person you speak to will have a single clue what the history of your project is or offer any real support. I was approached by a door-to-door salesperson from PHRG who noticed some mold/mildew on my vinyl siding. I am a recent new homeowner, so the issues (and some more) were actually captured on my home inspection report. In the interest of educating myself more about what options were out there and receiving an estimate, I had an appointment scheduled a few days later with a local remodeling consultant. Adonae, the consultant, was extremely courteous and professional, and her knowledge of the company, product, and process was excellent. She spent over 2 hours showing examples, walking through all the details and options, demonstrating comparisons, and adequately answering ALL our questions. Not once did she reply with something like: "I'll have to get back to you on that." The end project was a complete remove and replace of vinyl siding, fascia, soffit, and gutters. I chose not to finance, so I have no comments to make there, but the overall project pricing presented to me appeared reasonable for the job, so I accepted. Project timing was a bit of a concern with supply chain disruptions and winter (supposedly) approaching, but PHRG was able to schedule the job in about a month from contract signing with Adonae. Materials were delivered on-time and work began on the date promised. The total job took 5 complete days. I was VERY pleased that everything was scheduled appropriately and there were no delays. The siding work crew was a family affair led by Joshua (son), his father, and a family friend. They were all on-time, polite, and detail-oriented. I appreciated that they always came to get me whenever a question arose. There were some minor issues discovered after job completion, and as of writing this review, I have a service date set to rectify the problems. Overall, I am very pleased with the end result and it looks excellent! Once the siding was replaced, a different crew led by Dan came to do the gutters. They were on-time, super efficient, and got the job done quickly, but right. They knocked it out of the park. Very impressed with the final result and it was obvious they take great pride in their work. Edward came to do the final QA inspection and we were able to go over the project and any outstanding questions and concerns. He was very active in making sure I was satisfied with the work and resolving the few issues discovered. My only comment is that my inspection was scheduled for 5pm when it was dark out and difficult to do a thorough review. I would have preferred an earlier appointment so that things would be better seen in the daylight. Total project communication was very satisfactory beginning to end. All promised dates were met, I always received answers to my questions, and at no time did I feel I couldn't get ahold of anyone. This review was highly pressured by Edward during his QA review which I did not appreciate, but I chose to write one anyway because I really was impressed with PHRG from the sales pitch, the quality of the product, the great crews, and most importantly the end result. My house looks fantastic, I have new siding in the colors I actually like, and peace of mind with knowing it will last a long time compared to the flimsy siding originally on my house. I look forward to enjoying my "new" home for many decades to come. read more

Gave one a shot, called 3 times a day every day after filling out a free inquiry. Asked them not to call only email. After I told them I was no longer interested had to block the number after a month of non stop calling. I do not recommend Power Home Remodeling. I purchased new windows for my entire home through them because the sales representative promised me (multiple times) that there was a lifetime guarantee for the windows and screens as long as I was the owner of the house. He told me that I could have screens replaced for free no matter what the cause of damage was. I specifically asked him if that would even include my cat scratching the screen and he guaranteed me that it did. I believed him and thought it was a good bargain, so I signed the contract. However, when one of my window screens became very damaged by my cat and I called Power Home Remodeling to get a replacement screen, I was told that the guarantee was only for manufacturer deficiency and so if I wanted a new screen I would have to pay over $100 for it (I don't recall the exact price but I believe it was $120). After I got the windows installed I was also severely pressured by the same representative to get new siding for my home too, and he used all kinds of tactics to make me feel like I my home was going to rot away if I did not. I felt like he was not being honest and so I refused (I even had a friend come over to support me because his pressure was so severe). I was then told by a subsequent contractor that his stories were nonsense and I did not need new siding. The frames for the windows are also shoddy and easily damaged. But all in all, I was scammed and so I don't recommend this company. read more

I'm so close giving 5-stars but a few reasons why I can't - 1) when I scheduled my initial conversation to go over my options, what they can do for me, why their product is best, etc. etc. I as expecting it to take maybe an hour, 90 mins at most, but it turned out to be 3+ hours of my time. A little heads up that it could take that long would have been nice. 2) (the good part) they installed my first set of windows, and someone came by that same day to do a quality assessment and go over the installation with me + pitch more windows and a door, which I agreed to (the price was great, how could I not?), but what should have been one more day of installations for the rest of the windows, front door and patio door, turned into two more installation days due to the front door not being shipped with everything else... 3) the front door installation had to be rescheduled a third time! 4) But my biggest grievance, and why the 4 stars, is that they don't put back the blinds they take down or the storm door they took off (why did it need to come off in the first place?). The installer tried to explain to me that due to the warranty of the new door they couldn't put the storm door back on... huh? 5) Also, I have yet to hear from an quality assessment person to schedule a visit to inspect the final installations. I am still hoping that will happen. I'm happy with my new windows and doors, my home feels warmer already in these colder months, but it seems now that they are done and payments are being made, they don't need to speak to me anymore or check in. I will still recommend them, because their product is great, but I wish they would stay in touch as often as they do at the beginning until the very end... i.e. final inspections would be helpful and appreciated! read more

This time Juan was totally alone installing arch windows by himself. He did a wonderful job, but had to endure rain and hail while on a ladder. We scheduled an appointment with power home remodeling while we were at a home show. When we scheduled the appointment we were told canceling or rescheduling looked poorly for the sales person that was helping us. On the day of our appointment they rescheduled it for another day. On that day they rescheduled it for another time. Then called at the time they were supposed to be here and asked what they were coming for. We told them attic insulation and were told that they did not do quotes for just attic insulation we would have to include with that at least four new windows. Just attic insulation was not worth their time. We informed them that we had just replaced all of our windows and they said then we are canceling the appointment. Don't bother with this company. I am simply giving them one star because you have to give a star but I would give them negative stars if I could. read more

I was practically forced into making a review to get a 'discount' on the price so here I am updating it. The work was actually really well done and the contractors they work with are fantastic. The part of this business that drives down my review is the 'Quality Inspectors'. After day one of the project, they sent two inspectors over to make sure the work was going well. After looking at the second story soffets from the ground for 3 minutes they came inside and pressured me for an hour to add extra services to the project. They continued to make up bogus reasons they could reduce the price and heavily pressured us to do some financing that would end up costing us more. It revealed to be that the pricing was all made up and they charged whatever they wanted. In the end, I'm happy with my product and I'm not bitter, but the quality inspectors ended up souring my experience. read more
