If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely the worst experience with a company I have ever had. My house has been a disaster for 10 months. Still waiting on windows to be fixed. Their communication is bad at best and the worst customer service. The windows were installed at two different depths from the back of the house (first install) and the front of the house (second install). It took 3 people coming out to recognize that the windows were installed wrong. Initially all concerns were completely brushed off. Not only were they wrong but it also prevented me from being able to hang the brand new blinds that were purchased. The caulking looks like it was done by a child. The damage to the drywall was unreal. After much arguing the company agreed to re-seat the windows on the second install to match the rest of the house. They brought in their drywall person to repair the damage (which still doesn't look like the rest of the house) but then stated that they were obligated to touch up the paint (that was clearly ruined from moving the windows twice). The job is still not complete 10 months later. read more

Note: This review is based on the Sales experience only. Power 'was in my neighborhood' on a Saturday. I was in the market for replacement windows, so I said, sure, give me the sales pitch. I had received a half dozen quotes for windows at that point, so I knew the approximate price range. The sales pitch took THREE HOURS. We started at $19k for ten windows. When we said no, it became $15k. When we said no (naively thinking they would get to the "real" price point of $5k-$7K soon) the saleslady had a 'friends and family discount' to give away at $13k. When we said no, suddenly she could give us a discount if we signed up today at $11k - still nearly double what I was expecting. This was the definition of high-pressure, obnoxious, door-to-door sales. I can't support businesses like this - woe is the sucker who accepts one of the first half dozen quotes from Power Home Remodeling. It was the biggest waste of 3 hours of my weekend. To top it off, they called back later where an associate left a nearly 8 minute message on my voicemail arguing with himself and his computer about not knowing if my call had connected or not. As a female, and the sole owner of my home, I am the sole decision maker of my household. Apparently, I made the mistake of mentioning that I also had a boyfriend. The company refused to set up an appointment for an estimate with me unless my boyfriend was also present as his "input was necessary." Mainly/ I want to share that they make a very hard sale and it took 2 hours and 15 mins of our time one evening. When we scheduled the free, "no obligation" quote, I asked how long it would be, they responded with a vague, "it depends." Well- we ended up delaying our dinner, having to put our kid down during the visit and kept saying we had to wrap this up. Basically they hard sell you, offer you a first visit discount and have many, many presentations planned to get you to choose their product. Had I not been so put off by how long they were taking, I'd have a better taste in my mouth. I have now done almost all of the windows in my home, as well as the front door and new gutters on the house through Power. I have been extremely satisfied with the entire process over both separate purchases (one the first round we did the door, some windows, and gutters, second round was finishing off 6 more windows). The products are very nice, staff has been always professional, and installation is easy and seamless. I had a couple small quality issues with the last install, but they have jumped on fixing those right away. The installation crews do good work and respect the home, they work clean and clean up after themselves. I didn't even have to vacuum after they left! I'm glad I worked with Power to do some renovations on my home, and would definitely work with them in the future. *SCAM*SCAM*SCAM*SCAM*SCAM*SCAM* I'm pretty sure they conned us, so... They came out and installed our windows two months after the date that the sales person gave us upon signing the contract. Whatever, I know thew pandemic has had a huge impact on supply chains, etc., so we let it go. They guys came out -- they did a great job, they were friendly, we grilled them burgers for lunch, all good!! They did let us know right away that they forgot the window to replace the existing one above the kitchen sink. Annoying (like, how? How did they forget that window? Side note: They also installed a totally ripped screen and told us they would replace it when they return to install this "forgotten" window...) Fast forward to TODAY (one month to the day I believe from the installation of all but one window), and we are notified that they are coming on the 17th to install that window, but that we have to reapply for the loan!?!?!?!?!?!? Now, through no fault of my own, my credit has dropped two points overnight due to their running a credit check on me again. Obviously I am not pleased about this, but that was this morning. Now I am FUMING. Around midday today, my husband and I receive the new DocuSign regarding the loan, and we go through the motions, clicking the "sign here" buttons because we both have jobs and it's midday on a freaking Wednesday. Then I get a call at work confirming our new loan info, including that our payment has gone from $271/mo to $426/mo, because not only did they forget to BRING that window, they apparently forgot to include it on the initial order or charge us for it as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am having a very difficult time not using profanity right now. Our EFFING INTEREST RATE ALSO WENT FROM 9.89% T0 17.97% WHAT IN THE ACTUAL YOU KNOW WHAT. None of this was our fault, and I wish they would just come rip the damn windows out. We can't afford that payment, period. The kicker is that our original total price with interest was $32,626, and now because of a mistake THEY MADE, our total price with interest will be $51,134. All for a tiny, above-the-kitchen-sink window that I don't even care about having replaced, that THEY FORGOT. And I feel like they forgot it intentionally, because this feels like a damn con if I ever saw one. I'm sending this to the BBB, all my friends and family, my clients (oh yeah, I am a real estate agent, btw), and Google reviews. DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING WITH THIS COMPANY. We've had the worst experience with Power and do not recommend using them. Would rate them a zero if we could. Their install was horrible and the locks on the windows popped off with very little force. We had to basically beg them to come back and fix so that we'd have safe locking windows. The sliding glass door has a screen that will not latch. They damaged the siding on 2 of our windows. They left screws in our driveway that punctured our car tire. Power has so far been very difficult to work with to get any compensation for the tires we needed to replace (we have an all wheel drive system so if one of the tires needs replaced they all do). The company has been very unresponsive and we can tell all they care about is getting the actual sale. I understand accidents happen, but for them to refuse to fully compensate us for their negligence is really disheartening. And the quality of their work and craftsmanship is severely lacking. Wish we never had these windows installed. The amount of time and stress this has caused has been really disappointing. We will be telling everyone we know to never use this company. And to top it off, they just came by the other day to try and sell us siding. Way to rub salt in the wound. read more

I purchased windows from this company a few years ago and have had problems getting my master bedroom double window replaced due to a leak in the seals of both windows. I was originally told that I would get new glass within 12-15 months and explained to them that I am trying to sell my house and the glass is definitely noticeable but they said that was the best that they could do. I contacted Yelp and the BBB and was contacted by Power within about 3 weeks and they sent an installer out in another 4 weeks to do the replacement. Unfortunately, the installer only arrived with 1 pane of glass instead of 2 and told that the person that ordered the first replacement made a mistake and only ordered one side. Now I am supposed to just be patient and wait for another 2-3 months for it to finally be fixed. I am not only trying to sell my house with this problem but I have to travel during the next few months. Power is now working with Pella windows but instead of replacing my window with a product that they can get right away, they want me to wait for the other company that they are not working with anymore on their new installs. Their products are supposed to come with a lifetime warranty but apparently not their customer service. read more

We agreed to buy and they set us up for our pre-install inspection date. The pre-install inspection was done very quickly, and we were set up for our install date.
