I am getting bids for replacement windows. I got a call from them today from an online form I filled out. He was high energy, told me they were in the neighborhood and wanted to come over to give me a quote for vinyl windows. He then asked what time of day was best, I told him that changed every day. I am not sure but it seemed as if he did not want to set an appointment but wanted to stop by per my answer to that question. Very strange. I asked what lines they carry and he told me that they manufacture their own windows. I asked whether the vinyl was virgin or recycled. Consumer reports recommends virgin vinyl for longevity. He kept repeating that they were vinyl windows. I said you are not understanding my question. And he hung up on me. High pressure rude salesmen are to be avoided at all costs. I regret filling out that online form. read more

We have not purchased yet but their windows seem great and when the time comes we will give them a serious consideration. The ONE thing that people reading and at the company need to know is that. A)We have a huge no soliciting sign on our door yet the door to door folks still rang which I find very rude. B) we were told it would be a quick estimate however the estimate took more that 3 hours, on a Saturday, which is nuts. D) Annoying they gave three different prices and kept going down as we kept saying we cant make a decision right now. I feel bad for the folks who took the initial quote. read more

Asking for names and numbers from homeowners and spouse. At the end of the call, they needed consent to give out my number to other parties. Very disappointed in the customer services. When we signed up we told them we needed to get our shutters taken down. We call Power 36hrs before our install they said windows were in the truck and will be that Wednesday. So the next day we paid to get our shutters take down $1500. Then right after they were take 12hrs before windows were to be installed they called to days windows weren't in and they won't come for 3 months which took 4 and no updates by Power. Called Power on the situation and they said can we just move past this. So put the shutters back and and when windows finally windows came and we put another 1500 to take them off and on. Power wouldn't compensate us at all saying they don't do that. So must for there awesome 5 start service. Avoid customer service is bad and hold you over a barrel so you can never cancel your windows no matter how long they take. They were professional during install and quick. Windows seem very high quality and we will see how they do over time. read more

The guys came by the other day to install 3 windows for me in my downstairs bedrooms. The installers were very courteous, clean, efficient and on time. The installation went without a hitch and they were done by noon. Not a drop of clean up needed after they left either. The whole process from the sales person through scheduling and installation was encouraging that there are still great quality operations out there! You guys rock! read more

They have been consistently professional and easily replaced eight windows in just one day. The quality of the materials is excellent and they did a great job with the installation. I can actually feel how well insulated they are. The windows also look great and have some really cool features. Let me preface this review with the fact that the windows I had installed costed me $18,000 dollars. My car, when I bought it brand new with only 30 miles was $18,000. Power boasted about their wonderful warranty. Well, in the last year since their installation I have had to call the warranty hotline twice for the same thing. The first time I called was to have the clips for the screens replaced and for some faulty caulking to be redone. It took them more than a 2 weeks to come a do a repair. Now, the second time having to call due to yet another caulking problem. Only this time it has allowed rain water to seep into my home. I called power the moment they opened, I waited for 45 minutes to get through to an actual human and when I explain to said person about the issue he said the soonest they could get someone out to the house would be Aug. 17th. It is July 25th , and I checked, there are two days within the next week that look like there will be rain. Now tell me, doesn't that seem to be a issue. Sure, I can do the caulking my self, but if I paid damn near $20,000 to have brand new windows installed and they want me to wait a month to have someone repair the screw up that their crew created, I'm calling BS. Then after I explained the urgency to Nick, who was the person who "Assisted" me, he simply said that the 17th was the soonest he could do and basically hung up on me. Power, thanks for nothing. Power knocked on my door a few months ago. He was very polite and we were talking about windows. Had the sales guy come a few weeks later. It was a good conversation and I ended up getting all my windows replaced. Everyone has been really professional. The windows are double sliders, which is great. Also, as part of installation walk through, I was shown how to remove the windows. Very heavy. The sun was shinning on that window and I could not feel any heat on the window pane. We loved the presentation, we loved the simple product. However, other than they look better then our old ones, I am not satisfied at all. They really think highly of their products and charge top dollar. 1. Terrible installation requiring many repairs. 2. I was told I'd have to get new window coverings, that was fine, but the product doesn't allow for the style we had, that SHOULD have been pointed out. 3. Our deferred financing was for 6 mo, what we didn't know was the clock started when the contract was signed. So we were not deferred but 2 mo after the installation of all the work. 4. But the big thing is after window replacement and attic insulation my energy bill is 2% higher. 5. Basically everything used to secure the sale and promised did not come through. I wish I'd shopped, compared and got more estimates, read reviews. I will not be recommending or using POWER in the future. :-( read more

We just had windows replaced/installed on all of our upstairs windows. We were incredibly impressed with Power and their product. Not only did they show us how great their product was by actually testing a window in front of us, their staff was very easy and professional to work with. They were flexible with us for our install date due to our personal travel schedule and were on time to every appointment. One of the best parts is that the install went much faster than we anticipated! The quality assurance appointment was helpful in fixing any issues we may have had... the best part is that we now have lifetime windows and will never have to pay for this again! Totally worth the investment for a product that allows us to be more energy efficient. We will use this company again in the future for further remodeling we may need. I made an appointment for a free estimate and when I got the confirmation call there was a long delay and then a recording telling me that I needed to call them to confirm. From first contact with this company it had a big business impersonal feel. Everything seemed scripted and fake to try and build rapport. I had the misfortune of opening my front door to a Power Window Salesperson. He wanted to talk to me about replacing my windows. When I politely and repeatedly told him I wasn't interested, he continued to aggressively pursue the issue. He INSISTED on giving me a quote, if not today, then next week. He would NOT leave! I have never been harassed by a sales rep like this before and it became very intimidating, and when you consider he was on my property, this grievance is even greater. I strongly believed his tactic was to coerce and intimidate me into doing business with his company. People should not have to experience what I did. WARNING:***Do not do business with this company! Had a sales rep randomly pull up and visit my house - which for a group like this seems pretty aggressive. This guy set up what was supposed to be an hour appointment for the sales man- when the sales man came he came for 6 hours and literally would not leave. HERES THE KICKER-After discussing windows and siding he went to inspect the attic. He spent a lot of time up there and came down to show me pictures. The pictures were HORRIFYING. Cracked beams, two inoperable fans, the pink insolation had turned "grey because of the excess heat." I couldn't believe the horrific sight! Finally the sales man left after, I signed up to get their services. THANK GOD I decided on a whim to go up and look at the attic the next day. Turns out he SHOWED ME ***SOMEONE ELSES DAMAGED ATTIC*** to trick me! Now after I wrote to them cancelling my contract, their home office is still calling me to "tie up loose ends". I sales person from Power just came to my door wanting to sell me new windows. Our home was renovated top to bottom in 16 years ago with fantastic new custom windows. The sales person argued with me that I didn't need new windows and said they were old. He criticized us for painting over them (we bought the home that way) and frankly I am not sure why that was bad to begin with. He then told me my windows are "trash" and that we needed his help. I told him to leave. I love someone coming to my door and criticizing our home and calling it trash. These guys aren't professional! read more

Used Power for attic insulation and skrim to help with the heat in our house. Our place is 50 years old and had the original insulation and man it was doing nothing. Power explained all the benefits along with providing a new Nest thermostat. They went though all the benefits and pricing, which compares very well to other companies. I work in construction and know they use good products as they are products I use in traditional commercial building. A pre-inspection meeting was set up and lasted 30 min and a construction date was set. Only reason not 5 stars is they were very late to show up but once they did they were professional, productive and clean! Def use them again as they are easy to work with and pricing is reasonable. read more

Alright, here's the thing. I answered a knock at the door to a friendly guy who said they were doing free estimates on window replacement. I said, sure we can do that. Then, another guy pops up that was standing out of sight of the door (weird) and got my information. Then he called someone to confirm our estimate. He then he handed me the phone to talk to mystery man. He asked me the same questions I had just been asked and then started badgering me to make an appointment. I told him the time the 2 guys told me they would call and see if we were home was fine, and he again was badgering me asking over and over when I would be home. With my work schedule, I can not guarantee any time I'm going to be home. Yet he kept asking. Then he told the guy at my door since I couldn't guarantee the appointment, they weren't gonna come by. Then he walked away. Just because of this GUY ON THE PHONE, I will not now, or in the future, use this company. I do not need to be pestered in my own home with men on the phone asking specifics of when I will and won't be there... a piece of advise to Power- STOP. Just stop. Please don't pester and annoy possible customers like this. Guess what? I will block your phone number when (as I'm sure you will) start calling me incessantly. read more

Hard sell, by wearing you down, and giving you the "today only price". Its Friday about 4 o'clock. i get he knock on the door. It is "another window guy". Here is my issue. Up front i tell the guy, Upfront I am not buying ANYTHING now not for a while why " I don't have the funds for that right now. What that means to them is " we can finance it". I was upfront about EVERYTHING. Blunt. Did not give info that was not relevant to the conversation. Asking leading questions only serves you not me. Being the savvy consumer that I am knowing high pressure sales when i see it and experience it. I am not buying ANYTHING because you came to my door and attempted to create a need. After giving only sparse info that i was comfortable with and knowing that they only wanted to get in front of me to pitch the sale i submitted to a short apt. Fast forward to the apt, 630 on a Friday night. The two hours was far too much. From what I read from other reviews short. Let alone the hard pitch at the end of the 'buy it now price'. Really that is what you are going to hit me with? Really? It you are going to pitch me something do not insult me by lowering the price right in front of me. Like a used carpet salesman. Give me the bottom line out the door, everything price. Your one year price is the price. Lowering it only cheapens the product and tells me there is more room for the price to fall. Most likely about 50%. Lets not waist each others time. Now the sales pitch aside I am still researching the windows themselves. Preliminary results tells me they are quality. read more

My husband and I thought this company was several notches above what is considered in our area the leader of the industry by advertising. I recommend that you comparison shop them against those companies as well as individual contractors. They will not be the cheapest nor the most expensive; however their product & service rivals the quality of the considered industry top. We choose POWER because for us, we felt that they excelled past that of the industry standard top tier. From their PRODUCT, sales representative, pre-install inspector, the installers to their product quality control reviewer they were professional, gracious and non-assuming. They fullfilled their promise on installation with care; quality expertise and cleanliness after completion. It was nice to be thanked for our business and provided with not only quality product, but quality service overall; WE Recommend without hesitation. I would only recommend working with Power Home Remodeling if you enjoy being held hostage in your own home. My father-in-law came across these guys while on his way out at Sams Club. We gave them a call, and had someone come out to perform an estimate (in September of 2018). I don't recall the guys name, but he was from out of town, working out of the Englewood office for a week. He spent 4 hours in our house! We reiterated on multiple occasions that we would not be signing anything that day, and yet, he still wouldn't leave. He even tried to make us feel guilty by asking "what have I done wrong?" when we said we weren't signing anything until we received more estimates from other builders. They train these sales guys to be class A scumbags. Trying any and every tactic in the book to try and get you to sign the dotted line. My wife and I were so exhausted after dealing with this guy for so long, we almost signed just to get rid of him. DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE INTO YOUR HOME! read more

This company is very unprofessional. I am always given the runaround. It took over 6 months to have my door installed. The company could not get in contact with my Homeowners Association and failed to let me know. I was able to get everything signed off on in 20 minutes. This pushed the project date back 6 months. When the team came to install the men played loud, inappropriate music and left water stains on my carpet. My screen door only works when it's upside down. My door wouldn't lock when it was first installed. Now my door unlocks after several pulls on the handle. There is always a two month wait for an appointment. There is no way to contact corporate. It is always a run around. I finally got an appointment and date for a new replacement door and they called at 7:57 to cancel my 8 o'clock appointment. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told he was on vacation. Emails go nowhere, calls are redirected,and no one is ever available to discuss how unprofessional this company really is. read more
