Power Home Remodel's warranty is a complete scam. When our front door needed to be fixed, they scheduled an appointment six months out. Then, when it rained on the day of the appointment, we were pushed to the back of the line to wait another four months. Finally, after the technician showed up, he left us with the clear coat required to finish the job and told us to handle it ourselves. Great service! We have also had an order for a window to be replaced, covered under warranty. It's now been over a year and a half with no new window provided. They have made clear that we have no recourse to speed up the process, only that they are sorry and our order has been "expedited". I am horribly disappointed in their service. We had our Fascia replaced and wrapped. My husband did it when we purchased the house 27 years ago and it was holding up just fine - with two hurricanes!! However, some nails were starting to pop so we decided to have this company replace them for us at an astronomical price of $13k. First off, it was never done completely right, and within 8 months, it is tearing off on the front and back of my house. We waited over 6 weeks for their service team to come out only to be told that they do not have a ladder tall enough to reach so they will be back in July. My original review was on their installation of windows. They replaced all the windows in my house in a day. At the time I did not want to bad mouth the contractors but they didn't replace the damaged wood underneath the window sill caps. Not the worst but we were hoping they would do a more thorough job with it. Fast forward a year and we had our roof done too. That was a fun day, they damaged the vintage tiles in my bathroom with these huge nails they used. They put holes in my ceiling up stairs. Also, they left nails all over my property. (After two years I am still finding them). I tried to contact them about the tiles, they laid the blame on the contractor who couldn't replace the tiles. "They don't make those anymore", so I guess that's my problem now? They didn't even care about the holes they left. After a year or so I started noticing some roof tiles are popping up. I called to have someone come out and look at them back in Aug 2022, apparently they are so backed up that I have to wait until January 2023 (if I'm lucky). I'm kind of curious why they are so backed up? Why would they need to be fixing things if the job was done right the first time? This seriously makes me regret not shopping around. Even if the roof is under warranty for 30 years; how long would it take to repair any serious issues? If I wanted to have a new project done though; they would probably be here tomorrow. I will say that my house is warmer in the winter, especially upstairs with the new roof. The damage that was left behind, the nails that I'm still finding and the six month wait to have someone come out to look at something brought this down to 2 stars. I have now been dealing with this company and their warranty department for over 6 months to repair my roof that they installed entirely incorrectly and tried to cover it up with tar which has subsequently cracked and caused a leak. They have sent out 6 inspectors and they all deemed the roof was fine. I had to go out and get my own home inspector who was up there for 3 minutes and recognized the problem. They finally come out to repair the roof and I request pictures to which they take pictures of everywhere BUT where the problem was. I called the warranty department this morning, after being told I'd get a call back on Friday and didn't, to get the issue resolved so we can move on to fixing the damage that was done by the leak their called and was told before they fix the inside we have to wait to make sure the roof is finally fixed and that their next appointment is in May. When I asked to be put on this schedule I was told that was not an option because I did not wait for 4 heavy rains or snow. When I said that logically we can assume that will happen before May I was told "logic has nothing to do with it and I'm not going through this with you again. You have to wait and then you can be put on the schedule". I then asked to speak with a manager and was told "well they'll call you eventually but I'm not telling you when because I don't have access to their schedule" when I asked what their standard time frame is for these calls back the representative responded with "I can't tell you that" Then when I asked about the pictures the representative told me "that has nothing to do with your job being complete, it's just for your own records" to which I responded "which is part of the job you were supposed to do" and was only told "you'd have to be put on the schedule for someone to go out which is not until April or May" this is for a picture! How is it possible that this company cannot fix their issue that I have been dealing with for months and they still are in business. Makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. And before this company responds with "call us at xxx" I have been and don't get any of the service needed other than bad attitudes and failed promises. read more

At the beginning of June, 2022 I noticed a top siding panel on the front of our house had somehow slipped out of it's top restraint and was bowing out. Never had an issue with squirrels for the 32 yrs I have lived in my house. 6 yrs ago I got new roof and siding which was very expensive but they sold me on the warranty which was for any reason for life. I called with a issue of a squirrel coming in thru a vent they replaced. I don't know if the squirrel broke the vent or if the squirrel in coming in due to a defective vent. As I have said, I never had this issue or any issues until I got the new siding. I was told it is not covered, so that "for whatever reason" was a lie. I had met power remodeling at the home expo last weekend. Everyone was super friendly and helpful at the expo. We scheduled an appointment immediately the following week. A representative arrived to my home within the appointment time frame. He was super friendly and was very personable... Almost too personable. I wanted quotes on my sliding door and Windows, however I live in a condo. I wanted something different than what I had and wanted an estimate for different doors to present to my homeowners association which the salesman did not recommend and could not provide me with. The salesman took about an hour to explain how great the power remodeling company is, which is fine and dandy but it was really late and I didn't really need to hear all the spiel. Finally he measured everything and explained what was going on with my windows and doors. Yes there were some physical problems and he did a great job answering all of our concerns. Then he went to his car and brought in a huge bag that included samples and a heating lamp. He showed us the durability of their windows for another hour. Finally he quoted us for the today price if we signed with him that day and the one year good for price which was a $2,000 difference. I guess my only problem with this is Why quote us for two different prices and then not give us obviously the cheaper price. The time and energy spent on a sale pitch should be worth it to get the sale within one year. It's too bad since he was my first estimate. My only tip would be to call this company for an estimate as your last estimate. They may be able to provide you with some discounts if you have other companies to compare to. read more

Here's the summary in case you don't read the entire review (which I would because you'll be spending a decent amount of money. Summary: You can go with them based on other reviews, but for my money, based on my experience as a homeowner for 35 years: their work is no better than many other contractors out there; their attention to detail is lacking; and their customer service is horrible. I've reached out to them to pay the bill, and they still haven't gotten back to me. I don'think they're doing it for free because I'm very unhappy with the whole experience. I see they respond to the reviews, so maybe? They say customer satisfaction is their top priority, but just read the reviews and they'll confirm my experience. I would definitely NOT recommend this company. I went with them because my neighbor used them and was happy. They seemed to do a good job for my neighbor. My experience, sadly, was completely different. This review encompasses two jobs that they did, my roof and later on trim. I'll explain why I used them a second time. The good: The first impression was positive. I didn't want to be rude, so I listened to the "sales pitch" which was extensive. They spent time in the attic and looked professional. The bad: They "misquoted" the price and added 10 percent due to unforeseen work. I guess that the extensive first inspection wasn't so extensive after all. They told me that they had to replace more of the old roof then anticipated, which confused me since the inspection in the attic did take some time. That said, even with the increased cost of plywood, they WAY overcharged for the boards they said they used. I asked for pictures of the boards, was told okay, but never saw the pictures or any plywood delivered. Maybe it was when I wasn't there. The roof came out good, except for one spot, which I asked them to remedy. They said that they did, but look at the picture and decide for yourself. I stopped counting the nails I picked up after 15. Look at pics of trim, with some nails not completely nailed in, others sent in too far, bending the aluminum, and fingerprints. I asked them early on to watch for fingerprints and was assured no more and those others would be cleaned. The scaffolding brackets were nailed into a brand new roof, and then the holes filled with different colored silicon. I guess they don't nail the brackets under shingles like they used to. The ugly: This is where the company is sorely lacking. If you look up the complaints on BBB site, you'll see why. The customer communication is horrible. Upon payment for the roof, the rep looked at my gutters and soffits and told me I could get a deal, since he was there and wouldn't need to send someone out again. One of the reasons I went with them a second time was the PROMISE that they would address my concerns regarding some of the finish work on the roof, including fixing the dip in the transition from the upper roof to the lower, on the front of the house. "I've got notes all over the place" I was told during the phone call to confirm the date of install. When they called to confirm delivery of materials, I reminded them of the details they'd said they'd address (see pics). I was told "absolutely." Promises made, promises broken. The really ugly: Installing day has arrived and the work has begun. As the workers were installing the new trim, I noticed that they weren't addressing my earlier concerns. I tried to speak with them, but no one spoke English. The one worker who spoke enough, called his 'boss' and told me he'd be there within the hour. Two hours and fifteen minutes later, Juan arrived. He looked annoyed with me, but I spoke pleasantly enough. He also told me that he didn't understand my concerns due to language issues. He said he'd take pictures of what I pointed to, forward them, and the company would get back to my concerns. After 30 minutes, I had to go. The project manager on this job, who shall remain nameless, was non-existent. No help, no addressing my concerns. Had to pay for back stair repair they damage (had trouble uploading pic). The inexcusable: The details of what I'm not happy about (see pics) take a back seat to how the company responded to my concerns. This is the major complaint: they don't listen! The short of it is they give the responses they're trained to do, giving the customer the impression that they'll handle it. Unfortunately, they haven't in my case. Again, see BBB for similar complaints of lack of communication. I think they'd make great politicians. I'll expect a call so I can pay the bill. It's been a couple of months, and I guess if I didn't reach out to them, no bill would be sent. I hope that when they do send the bill, that they adjust for the money I had to lay out to have the rear steps repaired that they damaged. We'll see. read more

Being proactive, we sought to replace a 20 year old roof prior to waiting on any issues. Power HRG was our choice. In 20 years, no leaks to the old roof. In less than 2 years, the new roof is leaking. I called for service. It is December . They are not able to come out to inspect until April 24th. They do not have enough people working for them. Seriously, people, this is the information passed on to me! What kind of warranty is this? I have a leaky roof, seeping water into the kitchen ceiling (which is newly remodeled). Am I supposed to put a tarp over it until April and live with this leak throughout the winter weather and storms? Their sales people are quite convincing on how they stand by their product and workmanship. They spend HOURS telling you how great they are. Don't fall for it. I'm waiting for a representative to call me back anytime between now and Monday to "see if the time frame can be reduced". How about you send to me the guy who assessed my roof in the first place and told me it was a solid roof without problems. He was your "expert" at that time on roofing. We had moss growing on our roof, which is never a good sign. Luckily, a neighbor recommended Power and we requested a quote. The salesperson who came to our home, Chase, was courteous and knowledgeable. He gave us a detailed presentation on the materials and methods that Power uses to get the job done. As an engineer, I appreciated the detailed explanation that he provided so I could understand why they do what they do. Chase used a drone to capture information about what was going on with the roof, which was also cool to see. Ultimately, we agreed to have our roof, as well as the soffit/facia, and the gutters replaced. A few weeks later, the project manager Rae, came out to do a more detailed inspection and to confirm the details of our replacement. She climbed up on the roof and also took photographs to capture and explain what was going on with our roof. The roofing team came and completed the roof replacement in one day. They returned the next morning to finish cleaning up. The soffit and fascia team came the day after that, and the gutter team came the following Monday. The gutter team was responsive to my mother's requests to have two of the downspouts accommodate her rain barrels. Today, the quality assurance manager Matt came out to do a final inspection and get some feedback. He reviewed the notes the foreman left about the roof and informed us that there are some concerns about our siding and potential damage to the stucco underneath, and recommended that we have the siding replaced soon. Overall, it's good workmanship performed by a well organized company, and we are happy with what we've seen so far. read more

Do not believe in the good reviews. They are a group of lair. From the very 1st person to customer service, they all are laying until they got your money. The estimate person and pre installation inspector are the very 1st ones who are laying. They will try to get you signed the paperwork without stating the real agreements on the you will sign for. (Meaning is what they said from their mouth is totally different from w you are signing for.) They will not even let you really read the agreement and try to get your signature. I was naïve who trusted them and did really get a chance to read all from the agreement. I really like the installation crew members who are very straightforwar, hone and humanity on the wor. However I was very disappointed about the sales person and pre-installation inspector. They both are the main persons to get your money 1st. I only want to let others know about the lair company. Do not tru them. If they com to you, make sure to record what they said to you and let them print out all the paperwork before you consider to work with them.
