Aside from doing quality, timely work (at my location), Scott was particularly helpful during my quote-gathering phase. With my detailed description of the symptoms, make, model, and year, he was able to text me a quote within a few minutes. A few minutes after that, he texted me links to the needed parts and an updated price, should I wish to buy the parts myself and pay him for labor only. That helped me save money, which is always appreciated! As this is his specialty, I did not need to take my car to him or schedule an appointment to get a quote. He came to me to verify the extra work I needed done. I ordered the parts that night. He stayed in touch while we waited for Amazon and UPS to deliver. Scott really saved the day! I rolled my left rear window down by accident and it failed to roll back up. I called Scott and he encouraged me to do the least expensive repair that would suit my needs. He could fix the window, so it just stayed up permanently or he would need to order a part and he could make the window roll up and down again. I told him I'd like the window to roll up and down again. He said he would come out right away and get the window up for me while waiting for the part to arrive. Then, he would come out the next day and finish the repair. He did NOT charge any extra to come out twice. Scott came out lightning-FAST. He was in my driveway about half an hour after I called him. He had the window up and secured very quickly, so no rain could get in my car and cats or other animals wouldn't crawl in overnight. He returned the next day exactly when he said he would. He fixed the window, so it rolls up and down again, just as it should. He did not charge extra to come out twice. He was FAST, efficient, and effective in the repair. We were on a work/vacation in the St. Petersburg area and heard a loud pop on the driver's side of our minivan. The window would not work and started to fall into the door, so we're able to pull off of the Interstate and tape the window overnight. Had the RR regulator on my 2005 Grand Prix (old car, I know but only 90K miles) snap about 6 months ago. Scotty came out at the time stated and replaced...all was great until last Friday when the 'new' regulator snapped. Now, as you guys know, working to get warranty work done is like pulling teeth, so I emailed Scotty and explained the situation expecting the same old song and dance and being put on the back burner since it was a 'FREE' job. While I didn't use Power Up Auto to service a broken window regulator on my car, this review is solely based on the pricing I received for a specific service. Scott was quick to answer my phone call which was great, but the pricing he offered just to raise and secure my broken window was $160. Compared to surrounding companies out there I found this to be quite high. For instance, "Power Window Repair Specialist" charges $125 (although their commitment & communication isn't great) and "All About Power Window Repair" charges $79 for the same service today. I ended up going with "All About Power Window Repair" and saved 50% over what Scott quoted me and had them come out to service my vehicle on time the next day. While all companies need to make money, I think $160's for a labor charge worth 30 minutes of work seems to be unreasonable for the service that would have been provided. While it seems that Scott provides great communication and would have done a good job servicing my vehicle, his price for that specific service was too high. Perhaps on other services his pricing is more reasonable. read more

Ordered a part for my trucks window , using the search option was bought to the specific part but the owner emailed back to verify - sent a photo of my truck as well as the information . Was sent the incorrect part for a truck that is years older than mine even though you could clearly see In the photo I included in the email that my truck would not have been those years ! I believe owner sent wrong part just to make a sale knowing it would be difficult to return as shipping is expensive and he plans to also subtract his original shipping from my refund . I would not hire this guy to do any kind of work on your vehicle because I did and I regret it. He busted a seat belt plastic piece that was on my drivers door, he busted the flap off of my fuse box and the motor he installed for my power windows in my drivers door does not work. When I called him about the damages he caused to my car he denied it 3 times then he admitted to the damages later then he laughed. This guy doesn't care about somebody elses property he rushes through the job and he is ignorant. I didn't watch him but later I thought I wished I did because I wouldn't have anything broken. He still wanted to get paid to. His business cards has no business address and now I know why because he busts and breaks everybodies property in the car and he thinks since he didn't put an address on his business card nobody can take him to court and sue him for damages or even report him to the attorney generals office in pinnellas county.
