On the way in I was told 30 mins chair massage would be $35. Upon arrival I saw the price list for a chair massage offers 20 mins for $30 so I asked again to be sure.. I was then told 30 mins would be $40 which is not bad so I went with it. Upon paying I was told $45. I was hesitant to tip my usual $10 for these quick massages but I did it anyways. The shoulder massage was good but the inconsistency with pricing left me disappointed. I thought I found a place I could trust. I didn't argue the price and I wouldn't have mind if that was communicated in the beginning. They lost a returning customer and another client, because I intended for my husband to pay them a visit right after work.

They always have same-day availability when I call, and they even take walk-ins! I had different therapists each time, and they were all highly skilled. The therapists check with me throughout the massage to make sure the pressure is good, and they even include hot stones at no extra charge! The rooms are clean and spacious, the entire place is quiet, and the temperature is always perfect. It is in a neighborhood with lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance, and they have a parking lot behind the building. Five stars!

First the massage part... the room was large but also cozy. The electric fireplace was a really nice touch. Luz found all the knots... all of them. And worked through them with a firm but gentle touch. I knew my back was a mess but not how much of a mess until she started working on me. The cleansing ritual was not a typical facial... it was more like a face massage with a cleansing. I highly recommend this. I wasn't sure what to expect but I really enjoyed it. Again Luz was great! The location is a non-descript building which faces Lafayette St but the front door is actually on 18th St and their are reserved parking spots out front...love the painted parking spot detail.
