Was visiting relatives and booked a class here using classpass. I was a bit late and couldn't even enter the building. It was locked with no doorbell or other entrance. It was a waste of my time and very prohibitive and unwelcoming. I would not return in the future. read more

Absolutely love this studio This B3 is where I fell in love with barre I don't love in Morristown but always make an effort to go when I'm in for work. The clientele here are people who are looking for a good workout. The instructors aren't ex-ballerinas/actors (that I'm aware of) that are looking for their next chapter. Everyone is so real. As someone who lives in NYC and gets a healthy exposure of boutique fitness that is 25% for the workout and 75% for instagram, I fully appreciate that change in studio attitude. I have loved all the instructors at this B3 but I specifically love Rebecca's classes. They're challenging, different each time, and motivating. Motivation is why I keep coming back to Rebecca's classes because she has mastered how to provide suggestions/modifications without seeming condescending, something I have seen many fitness instructors outside of B3 fall culprit to. Alas, she is amazing and I hope to take many more of her classes in the future. I always think about the name of the song she uses for the series where you sumo squat and then slam your hands down to push back each leg individually and repeat. I was really hesitant to try barre as I do not like yoga and was never a ballerina. But my friend won a contest and urged (bribed) me to come try it with her just once. Well I am really glad I was open to trying to new things because I think I found my favorite new work out. Barre is way more than "yoga and ballet" that I stereotyped it to be. It is a full body work out in a calm atmosphere (nothing worse than an instructor yelling down your back). I enjoyed every minute of the 60 minute class and did not look at the clock once, which I am known to do. I had a more intense workout than I thought I every could during this barre workout. I am officially obsessed and highly recommend a barre workout especially at Barre3 in Morristown. The facility is clean and the staff is helpful and knowledgable. read more

Barre3 is amazing. 'Nuff said. Okay ... well, me being me, maybe I'll say a *little* bit more. I was a Bar Method devotee until a knee injury made it impossible for me to maintain the "bar tuck". The girls @ BM tried to give me modifications, but frankly, their classes are too crowded, and if you can't tuck, you really can't do anything. I gave up on barre workouts (and I was gravely disappointed about that). Enter Barre 3, which by chance, I read about in In Style magazine! Barre3 gives you a total body workout in one 60 minute studio class. You will sweat. You will shake. You will be sore. But you will leave truly feeling like you did something wonderful for your body. And you will feel graceful and beautiful and taller (true story - you will walk out with amazing posture!) The instructors are incredible and they will give multiple modifications for every exercise. Although this is a group fitness class, it doesn't feel that way, because everyone receives individualized attention. I am so glad to be back at the barre, and because Barre3 emphasizes primary posture, and doesn't demand that you work with an excessive pelvic tuck, I can do it without aggravating my knee. As a bonus, the space is amazing. Barre 3 Morristown is in the old Woolworth building, and it's simply gorgeous. Exposed brick, beamed ceilings, beautiful facilities, which include three lovely showers, lockers, and best of all: child care during the weekday morning classes. You simply can't beat Barre 3 - drop everything and head to the barre!! read more

Exercise gives you endorphines. Endorphines make you happy! I left my first Barre class grinning from ear to ear. This class was amazing, it worked every single muscle in my body. I left feeling super shaky but extremely satisfied knowing I got a great workout in. The classes are challenging but in a good way. The studio itself is super clean and accommodating (lockers, showers, child play area) and the instructors are very knowledgable and are able to keep you motivated throughout the entire class. I came here as part of a yelp fit event and left signing up for a class package, needless to say I will be back for more. read more

My first class here was a yelp elite event and it was great. I was 6 weeks post surgery and couldn't complete the class and spent the rest of class talking to the owners Lisa and Rebecca. They are awesome women! In May I did the spring challenge and have been going ever since. The instructors are all wonderful and will help with any problems you have. Classes are great and if you can't do a certain move there is a modification for you. Instructors are always checking to make sure you do the moves right. Classes are a good time and not the same each time. And you work up a sweat!!!! read more

Absolutely loved the 11 am barre class I took with Hali on Saturday. She was very high energy, positive, and easy to follow along with. She spent the first 2-3 minutes of class going around the room and introducing herself to new students like myself, and then we jumped right into a warmup. The class was challenging but went by quickly. The studio is in the center of Morristown, so make sure to leave time to find parking as there is no parking lot. It's on the second floor and if you choose a place at the barre by the window, you can distract yourself from the pain by people watching! read more

I had always wanted to try a Barre class & then got the opportunity last month through work - omg I'm in love! I went to the first class with 2 coworkers and we thought we were going to die, then the next day at work it was like we had got hit by a Mack truck! In the best way possible, of course! The instructors are amazing, so motivational and its not like those cult classes where everyone is super intense. Its nice on the occassion for the teacher to say "I need this as bad as you today, its been a long one." Everyone's human there & while its challenging its welcoming and not intimidating. Great studio located in the center of Morristown. It's walkable from my house so I attend classes often. I have not found an instructor I do not like! They are all excellent and vary their classes daily. You can tell they care about you; they know your name and make sure you are navigating the moves correctly. I was addicted after one class! Awesome workout where you will see quick results and look forward to going each week. Beautiful, clean studio with everything you need. I like how you don't have to bring any supplies and the little extras such as complimentary lotion and deodorant are appreciated. Having actual hand towels in the bathroom and supplied for your workout is a nice touch. Being able to sign up for packages and schedule your classes online is so convenient and easy. I love how no one tries to hard sell you anything. (Katie the receptionist is a doll!) First time I arrived, an employee showed me around and explained how to sign in, use the lockers, etc. No one has ever tried to push me to buy a package or pressed me to sign up for classes. The instructors keep the class moving, motivated and appear to be masters at their craft. (Jess is the best!!) They're great about checking in prior to class to see if anyone has injuries or concerns and offer modifiers if some of the techniques may be too challenging. The only thing I would caution new people about is to not be taken aback by how unfriendly some of the classmates can be. Yes we are there to work out, not to socialize, but its common for someone to come up to the bar next to you or look you in the eye, say nothing and act like you don't exist. Again, not there for social time, but it would be nice to get a return smile or hello from a classmate without being looked at like you have three heads. If you do engage someone in small, generic conversation after class as you're getting your things together, I find you're not going to get a lot of warmth or chit-chat. I would never say I feel judged by anyone, however.....just kind of surprised at how aloof they are. read more

I'm in love with this place. This is the first time I have ever felt truly "taken care of" by any type of fitness studio I have ever been to. This is a complete total-body workout in 60 minutes- I have had some of the best quakes, sweats, and stretches in recent memory at this place- complete with modifications for anyone who needs them. The space is huge and beautiful- everything is brand new. The studio is kept at a comfortably warm temperature and I don't need to be in class for 30 minutes to feel "warmed up"- a huge plus for me. The owners, Lisa and Rebecca, are active and present at this location- they will know your name and you will know theirs. Same goes for all of the instructors- there isn't a single class that I avoid because of instructor disappointment that I have encountered with other group fitness classes. Barre3 changed my opinion of what barre class really means. This workout is a combination of bar work, floor work, mat work and cardiovascular work which really surprised me. The trick is not to cheat the workout, and trust me you will SWEAT. It's a lot of strength training using only your own body weight, a ball and some light weights with high repetitions. I took this class for a month while I was in Morristown but I wish I had it closer to home! I had several of the instructors over the course of a month, and all were fantastic. Not to mention the studio feels and smells like an Anthropologie.. I mean. Also, they have child care! Which I don't require, but I was nonetheless impressed. read more

I like that the instructors will modify the pose as to the participants capabilities. They show kindness even through the rigorous class. Everybody is friendly and happy to see you. I love the classes here! I've been going for about a month. All of the instructors are really nice and give many variations so you can work as hard as you are comfortable with. I always leave the classes drenched in sweat. I've gone to other studios in the area that offer barre/yoga/pilates/etc. and the barre classes are nowhere near as good as an actual Barre3 studio. read more

Went here the other day. I was mad skeptical. Never took any class that remotely compares to anything like this. The class leaving before me was all women (as I expected). My class had 2 other dudes who were there with their wives (as was I). The 2 owners of the spot are super nice. The facility itself is really well set up. My class was taught by a master instructor who just arrived from their Portland HQ. Her name was Meeghan. She's going to be running the soon-to-open spot in NYC. She was dominant. The workout itself was super intense. It's not super manly, but it's not super feminine either. If you're a guy, I recommend using the 4 LB weights for the arm exercises (1 LB, 2 LB, 3LB are the other options). My triceps, quads & abs were sore for days afterwards. I stretched my hips and hammies better than I ever had before in my entire life. The prices are cheap, and they offer a beginner deal. If you're single, this is certainly a nice place to meet hot ladies. They have clean modern locker rooms so you can shower and change after, in case you head straight to work. read more

I was given a group-on for Christmas for 4 classes. I took three classes in January and I would have continued if the exercises did not make my chronic back issues flare-up. The two owners are some of the nicest people I have ever met. They immediately made me feel comfortable. The same day they friended me on Facebook and followed me on Instagram. By the second class, everyone had my name memorized. It is obvious they really care about their students and want you to come back. The instructors are also very friendly and knowledgeable. I've been going here a few months and I am absolutely addicted! For the first time in my life I don't dread exercising or stare at the clock for the entire hour. Definitely similar to other barre type classes I've done but the prices are more reasonable and the class times are more convenient (schedules at other barre studios seem to indicate they aren't trying to appeal to working women). Since going here my whole body is more toned. I love that the workouts focus on areas that women are most concerned about. The instructors are friendly and all know me by name. Unlike other similar studios I've attended, the instructors at barre3 have enough moves in their repertoires to keep the classes varied and challenging. The workouts are easily modified based on your fitness level and I've found that I've moved from the easier modifications to the more difficult ones in the time I've been going. The studio itself is beautiful and parking is pretty easy despite its in-town location. read more
