I work out consistently and I fear their classes, but love them because of how good of a work out they are. To make it "fair to all" you should provide an exception if someone is willing to provide a diagnosis to you. If I have a seizure during the night it's ridiculous that you would be so black and white saying I should have anticipated that.** I went from being obsessed with the Riverside location, buying all their merch, to being unable to recommend them solely on policies and management. I want to preface, they can have whatever policy they want and that's great if they are unable to be able to relate to chronic health issues. If you have unpredictable health issues, conditions, disorders, they do not care. You either cancel 12 hours before a class or pay $18. Even if you explain this being an issue they will stick by you only get 2 absences waived a year. I understood that and then would loyally pay my missed class without saying anything. Then because it was such short notice (2 hours ish) I messaged them about the health concern I was facing and they said I already had my 2 waived cancellations and I said ok I just wanted to let you know. I didn't press about it again but had explained it was causing me to be unable to book classes because the fees from cancelling, the night prior. (I'm literally meaning 8:30 pm for a 7:30 am NOT WAITLISTED OR FULL class) I get if I'm no showing, if there was a waitlist, or they were missing pay because you held up a spot (with your unlimited membership), to full and waitlisted class, or if you were going to be the only one in the class. But if I have something happen 11 hours prior, and cancel a half full class that has no waitlist, because I know I will be throwing up all night, it's $18. So even though it isn't even until tomorrow at 7:30 am, cancel at 8:00 pm and you're charged. Late cancellation I tried speaking with them about this to explain and the only person who was genuinely making me feel apart of the community was Sonia. She was the primary reason that I was still going to get a class pack after saying I had to cancel the membership. I genuinely looked forward to her classes and it made me feel normal. Again, I am genuinely glad that management has not ever had longterm health issues that cause debilitating issues that are not predictable 12 hours in advance.

The gym members were friendly & happy to be working out together on a Saturday morning. The trainers, Trevor & Manny, were helpful by correcting members form & encouraging by pushing everyone to keep up the hard work. You can tell this is a tight community built on strong relationships. When I began my journey two months ago I was 135 lbs, and had a body fat percentage of 23%. My idea of a crunch was to grab the remote control without knocking my bowl of chips off my stomach. I had accepted that physical fitness just wasn't in the cards for me. My self confidence had begun to decline, which is a bad thing when your career is based upon making others feel confident and beautiful. I was scrolling Facebook and seen an ad for the gyms six week challenge and was intrigued. It was close to my salon, and I'd be able to go before work. Best of all it claimed to be a FREE six week challenge. Now like all things in life nothing is truly free without a catch. The fee for the challenge could be returned to you as long as you followed the guidelines and met your goal. I had a choice to make and let me add nothing is a better motivator than putting some serious cash on the line. I decided both for my self esteem, and my health that this was a decision I had to make. I needed guidance, structure, and positive reinforcement. I had joined other gyms in the past with the best of intentions; I'd go for a few weeks and get burnt out both with having no clue what types of workouts I'd be doing, and having zero accountability, and training. A lot of gyms like to play the family card and claim to have a membership that is full of encouragement and friendship. Unleashed however doesn't only claim it, they are. I've met so many wonderful and inspiring people outside of the trainers and that keeps me pushing to reach my next goal. There is people of all body types, and ages. Everyone always greets you, and helps encourage you when you're feeling that burn and contemplating giving up. I would have never been so successful if it weren't for people who have no idea how much they impacted me. I'm a researcher and after signing up I looked into just how reasonable 6% body fat loss on six weeks was. Needless to say the internet had me petrified I had just lost a lot of money. The average was 1% in 4 weeks. I needed a percent a week. I'm so very happy to say that it is more than possible. I followed the meal plan, never missed a workout, gave it 110% each time. Not only did I meet my initial goal, I surpassed it by double. As I type this review I'm currently down to 118 lbs, and a body fat % of 11.5. The meal plan was the hardest for me to change, yet has become a new way of life for me and my energy, and sleep have dramatically increased. Where I use to dread going to the gym I look forward to my early mornings and getting together with an extended family and pushing myself even further. If you're looking to change your life, and truly willing to follow the advice from some amazing people I highly recommend Unleashed. They changed my life and I can never truly express my admiration for the family I've joined. This is one decision you will not regret!!!!

I started at CrownTown CrossFit September 2024 and in three months I have dropped from 207 to 189…read morepounds and my waist went from 37 to 34 inches. In addition my compound lifts (squat, deadlift, bench-press) are increasing every week. I've never seen progress this quickly whether I tried to do it on my own or with an expensive personal trainer. CrossFit introduced me to Olympic style weightlifting at first I was hesitant because it's very technical but the coaches are careful to monitor your form and teach you the correct movements. The community is also very supportive and everyone motivates each other to do better. We use Telegram, Zen Planner, and SugarWOD to communicate, schedule, and track progress. It's neat to see the leaderboard on the screens. CrownTown CrossFit makes working out fun as hell. The music they play is always really good too. My fitness goals for the year are to drop to a 30 inch waist and make it to the 1000 pound club.

Class Schedule (With a LOT of classes, it's easy to find a time that fits your schedule. A lot of other crossfit gyms offer a limited number of classes.
