Vanessa was incredibly helpful and kind and you can tell she truly cares about the members. There's also another staff member who has been super helpful with guiding me on what exercises to do. I unfortunately can't remember his name, but he is truly awesome knowledgeable and very encouraging. Thank you all so much for making the gym such a welcoming and motivating place. I really appreciate everything you do keep up the great work!

So does everyone else in a 10-mile radius…read more I joined a gym, but somehow ended up participating in a live-action documentary about population density. Every bench is occupied. Every machine has a line. The sauna feels less like recovery and more like a refugee camp for exhausted gym-goers. The parking lot deserves its own reality show. Finding a spot requires the patience of a monk, the vision of an eagle, and the luck of someone who just won a scratcher. The craziest part is the timing. This isn't 5 PM after work. This is 10 PM on Sunday and 11 PM on random weeknights. Apparently everyone in town collectively decided sleep is optional and chest day is eternal. The staff has always been cool, and the facility itself isn't bad. The problem is that approximately 73% of the city's population appears to have the same membership. If EOS ever starts charging admission for spectators, they'll make a fortune because most of us spend half our workout watching other people use the equipment we're waiting for.

Chuze does get packed during peak hours but that's why I have 2 memberships, for options. I like that they enforce the no-tripods and recording policy too. I've been coming to this location for a while now and have to say that the condition of both of the saunas is pretty disgusting. My husband even jokes that I might catch ringworm. I heard one guy telling someone, "you know how I know they don't clean? This paper towel or wipe has been on the ground here every day this week." Twice now, I've noticed a really foul smell in the infrared sauna and it makes me think something is growing in there. The last time I tried to go in there, I didn't even make it 10 seconds before walking right back out. It's gross. This week, a lady had to point out a nail in the seat so the guy sitting next to her didn't get snagged up. Clearly nobody is going in and doing checks. Why aren't they doing daily cleanings and sanitization in there at the very least? The staff has always been super nice and friendly, in my experience. I've only gone to the smoothie bar once but the staff was great and the drink was amazing! When I'm coming in or leaving or even when I've had to ask questions a couple of times, I'm always met with a pleasant staff member. Just hope they start putting some regular sauna cleaning procedures in place.

Almost made me hesitant, but I was told it's usually quieter on Sundays. Everyone just wanted to get a workout in before the big game. I met Joel Hall - cool guy, funny, attentive, and a great salesman. They offer some nice recovery options like Cryolounge, compression boots, Hypervolt percussion massage, and human touch massage chairs. I was told those are an extra $10 a month, which isn't bad if you're into recovery stuff. Here's what Joel tried to pitch: personal training once a week for $50 plus a $50 sign-up fee= that's $100 total. Or twice a week for $94 a session with a $20 down payment=that's $55 per session. It felt a little steep, but if that works for you, definitely reach out to Joel. One thing to note; when I called the day before, I was told they had a steam room and dry sauna. Joel kept emphasizing the "dry sauna," but he never mentioned they didn't have a steam room at that location. Turns out, the steam room is at their Montclair location, just a heads up. They also don't have a pool. The dry sauna is not co-ed, which I personally like.

Okay I need everyone to stop what they are doing because I have to talk about HOTWORX right now…read more I walked in with zero expectations and a little bit of "what even is this place" energy, and this gym had the absolute audacity to completely change my life. The nerve. First of all -- the cleanliness. I am someone who will notice every little thing and this place gives me absolutely nothing to complain about. Spotless every single visit, equipment always working, saunas always up and running like clockwork, clean showers always accessible. No out of order signs, no disappointments, no cutting corners. Just a beautifully maintained facility that respects your time and your standards without fail. In the gym world that alone is worth five stars. But then you find out it is female owned, female managed, with an entire all female staff, and suddenly you understand exactly why everything feels so intentional, so warm, so exceptionally well run. The female touch on this business is visible in every single detail and it is nothing short of inspiring. Walking in and seeing women owning and operating a thriving, spotless, professionally run fitness space genuinely fills my heart every time. The 24 hour variety of hot classes will humble you, transform you, and have you completely addicted before you even realize what happened. Sign up, show up, earn the burn and watch yourself become someone new. Proudly supporting this gem for a long time to come.

Positives: This location is very nice, only a year old, has…read moretwo bathrooms, and has 10 saunas. Plus 1 star 24/7 access is beautiful! Going super early or super late you'll have the place to yourself or nearly. Plus 1 star There's parking inches away in the most safest locations! Plus 1 star The owner is super amazing! The location is a few feet away from a gorgeous coffee shop, multiple restaurants, a deli, and Trader Joe's. (This is awesome if you go during normal business hours) Negatives: Customer Service/Communication; this location is 20mins from me and a new location opened up walking distance, so I requested info on switching/canceling, but it took multiple attempts to get any response (via email) where they said "you'll have to cancel" (or upgrade which I don't need).... That was it, no "here's how you can upgrade and here's how you cancel", I've had better customer service from Walmart... And I'm still trying to get support on canceling. So where's it's super effortless to join, I got crickets when I want to cancel. Rather disappointing given a 60 days notice is required. Minus 2 stars Lots of sales emails and notification (this is from headquarters not the location, and the sales tactics from the dude who owns the whole thing loves to hear himself talk as there's ads before and after every class to buy a franchise or buy his product, the locations have no control over this, though I wish it was optional as he's super annoying- or heck have multiple commercials so we hear variations rather than the same ad a million times). Tips: If you go super early, super late, or on holidays get there about 10minutes early to turn on the sauna, otherwise you'll step into a cold/room temp. Bring ice cold water, or electrolyte water, it's super refreshing during your class. Gloves make a huge difference on the rowing machine. Don't see a class you want? Chose an empty session and turn down the volume and create your own class (I did this with mobility exercises). Just want a sauna? Choose an empty session and turn it into a sauna or meditation session.
