For a straightforward, uncontested divorce with no children, no 401ks, and a clear division of assets (house and cars), his strategy was minimal. When my ex-wife delayed signing the simple waiver and eventually retained her own counsel, my lawyer completely vanished. He refused to schedule a call with her attorney, leaving me stranded and stressed. I constantly had to deal with his paralegal, who only provided sparse, unhelpful answers. Marble's Complete Lack of Accountability: To make matters worse, the attorney marked my case as "closed" without setting up the next phase or finishing the job, effectively abandoning me while remaining the retained lawyer of record. When I contacted Marble to complain, they shielded the attorney, stating there was no recourse or refund because he had marked the case complete. The Outcome: After two months of zero progress and immense stress due to this lawyer's laziness, I had to spend another $3,500 out-of-pocket to hire an independent attorney. I call every 2 hours for the receptionist to repeat the same lie. Long story short no notice , no settlemen, no continued PT , they treated me like yesterday's news. In regards to the letter the suggested I show find another attorney to pick up my case. Guess my case wasn't worth much. Very unprofessional.
