Interesting (disappointing) experience. I want to start by saying we never got to meet with an…read moreattorney so this review focuses on the office staff and my experience attempting to consult with the attorney. We had some estate issues to resolve so we called last week and were scheduled for an in person consultation today.We show up for our appointment on time and immediately upon opening the door we werent greeted by a receptionist but instead an empty lobby and the overwhelming stench of marijuana. Yes. Marijuana. LOTS of marijuana. It smelled as if someone was actively smoking it inside. Im surprised we didn't get high just sitting there. Since no one was at the front desk so we took a seat til an older blond woman noticed us and asked us why we are there. She looked like a deer caught in headlights. Clearly she wasn't expecting us to crash their party. We informed her we had a consultation and she asked us for our names and then excused herself. She did this a couple times before she finally comes back and tells us we are not on the calendar and that the receptionist is on vacation for the week. Then she says our appointment is tomorrow. Im sorry, what? Do we not have an appointment? Or is it tomorrow? Make up your mind. At this point we are over it and tell her we will not be coming back tomorrow and walked out. I highly doubt I made an error on the appt time because tomorrow is a Tuesday. We have a standing obligation that occupies us every Tuesday but I suppose anything is possible. It shouldn't however take that long to establish if and when we have an appointment. While I'm not one to pass judgement on marijuana use the strong overwhelming stench of it during business hours combined with a clearly confused and clueless staff member doesn't exactly instill a sense of confidence in their services.
