My deep clean was scheduled at 8 am. They let me know cleaners might arrive separately and one would be there at 8:39. He arrived. Said his wife was getting a vacuum and he needed to get toilet bowl cleaner. Wife ended up having the toilet cleaner delivered. Cleaner was very nice, but had no idea what a deep clean was. I showed him the rooms to be cleaned. I would say something like did you dust this? He said, oh I didn't know you wanted that dusted. I'd say, this part of the floor is still dirty. He said, oh, I didn't mop that part ( a part of the room that was mopped and not under furniture. ) He was very tired and I from working hard the day before. On room was not swept or vacuumed, much less mopped. I sent pictures and was told they would come back in two days. He came back and was only about 25 minutes late and did some more work. I told him it was fine and he could leave although the work was still not done correctly, as he said he didn't have a good mop. After he left I realized that one room was not even dusted. The office called right away asking if the areas were addressed. I replied that they were "addressed" she said thank you. I didn't bother. The good news is that he did an amazing job on the oven.
