Was seen quickly and my barber Henry gave me a great cut. Got a nice med skin fade. He always checked how I wanted it done and if I like how it was while cutting. At the end got a warm lather razer clean up. Got the hot towel and slight next shoulder massage. Great customer service from him and the rest of the staff. Good conversation and good people. Chris is the best barber I've ever been to! His communication, customer service, and attention to detail are top notch. Chris takes the time to give you exactly the cut you want and makes sure everything is lined up perfectly. I have a relatively long beard that gets pretty scruffy if I don't get trim it every couple months. Chris trimmed it up exactly how I wanted it, and made sure to clarify exactly how much I wanted taken off and not to go too short. Still my favorite place to get hair tuned up, and besides the usual full service Vee styled my hair into Mohawk and I loved it. This is man is accused of going through Menopause and don't care, you don't stop playing because you got old, you get old because you stop playing, have fun is the name of the game. If you feel yourself worthy, splurge and get yourself a hot towel straight razor shave it's hella worth it imo, and I regret getting such a late start in the game. The interior is a little basic and can use some refinement, but the real deal is the haircut and shave. Super hospitable, great barbers, and just a very thorough experience. I've been visiting the owners of this shop for almost 5 years where they used to work in Santee. They are so great, it is worth it for me to drive from Santee to Poway to see them for both me and my son. They do incredible cuts and fades, and the shave is the absolute best!
