The new location is easier to find than their previous location as they are now off the 95 and Lake Mead. In the past couple months I have attended their grand opening, a Thanksgiving charity workout and a boot camp with my Casspass membership. Even though my attendance here is sporadic Mel is always welcoming and the workouts are always challenging, different and fun. At that time my blood panel lab work showed an elevated ALT (liver enzyme reading) of 69, above the normal range of 56. A number that high tends to indicate the liver is being affected typically by high alcohol consumption or fatty liver aka excess visceral fat encasing the liver and I don't have a drinking problem. After following healthier eating habits and working out five days consistently at HCF, my new lab work taken the last week of April 2022 shows my ALT at 16. That is a decrease of 53 points. So while I've lost 31 pounds on the outside so far, this measurement tells me I am without question becoming healthier on the inside too.

I came here last week for a trial class, and unfortunately, this was not the type of class I was…read morehoping for. I left after just two stations/15 minutes. I was a bit grossed out by the "cleanliness" and the idea of lying down on the floor to stretch where people walk around in their shoes (there's so much nasty stuff from walking around outside!!). I was also under the impression/told this class was for all levels of fitness, but it seemed like it really didn't matter if we (the entire group) were literally of all different ages and levels of fitness or physique. I thought there would be more individual guidance for the movements we needed to do, but we were pretty much told (after the coach quickly explained each station), to go pick a station and get started. I wasn't sure if the positions I was standing in and sitting/squatting down in were correct or not. There's no way to see my reflection or have anyone who had experience tell me. One of the movements was to squat down while having one leg forward and across diagonally, so the knee is bent and at an angle, sort of like a curtsy position. I feel that because of that movement and not being told if I'm doing it correctly or not, I messed up my knee where I felt some sudden pain behind and around my knee area a couple days later. My vein specialist/doctor did an ultrasound on it today and saw that there's fluid in my knee that wasn't ever there before, and because of that it put pressure on another vein and caused it to "pop". He said it was probably due to straining and if the knee was twisted or at an angle. He mentioned that specifically before I ever said anything about trying out new exercises! Even despite my injury, my rating would probably be the same...the music was SO loud it was hurting my ears a bit, and I really did not want to be listening to club music. There's other music to work out to besides EDM. This just unfortunately and definitely was not what I was expecting based off of the business info and reviews I read up on.

They told us we could cancel anytime. When we tried to cancel, they lied to us. I had to go during my work hours because they wouldn't cancel the membership, and I lost hours of work looking for the manager. He was never there or offered no solution. When I finally found him, he told me to send an email and he would cancel it, which never happened. The day before yesterday, they tried to charge me $840, and I refused the transaction. Today, July 17, 2026, they charged the $840 directly from my savings account. This is robbery. I recommend you never, ever become a member because they don't honor their commitments.
