He wrote the lab order without it, stating how HSV 1 is really not a big deal and that he doesn't normally test because most people have it. I do not care- you do what the patient wants! You never discourage a patient from being holistically aware of their health. Fast forward, I had To request it again multiple times- via email and voicemail to no avail. When I finally spoke to him, he told me he was leaving for the day soon and would not be in on a Friday and would do it Monday. It's been 2 weeks, the blood work was already sent off- the modification was never done and I can not get in contact with the office. The first time I saw him things were mostly fine, though the "physical" seemed kind of old school: touch you toes, raise your hands to the ceiling, that kind of thing. The second time I went, I questioned something he had told me last time. Basically, I wanted to follow up on something another dr. had told me and he was furious. Raised his voice. Very condescending. I wanted to cry. I was actually scared at this point, but became more frightened when I told him I had a cold, he told me it was allergies, I questioned how that could be because I had passed whatever I had to my boyfriend, and he told me "I can't believe your questioning me again"... He said it so seriously and harshly, while his hands were on my hands for part of the physical...I felt unsafe. When he left the room to go get a form, I seriously considered just running out of the office. I thought about telling the front staff but I was scared and decided to just leave and write a review on zocdoc. He read the review and sent me a "dismissal" letter. It's not like I planned to go back there anyway, but I've never heard of a professional doctor discharging someone because they wrote a bad review. I emailed him back to clarify why I wrote the review and he wrote back "you lack class". Just take a second and think of a doctor, an educated man, an adult saying that. to a young woman. for advocating for her symptoms...I'm stunned. I also saw that he responded to another woman's review with her personal medical information, insinuating that she is crazy and needs psychiatric meds. How is this person allowed to practice with so many reviews stating aggressive behavior? This is so concerning to me.

The want you to schedule an appointment to refill prescriptions, meaning you will be without your medications. They will waste your time sending you out to specialists in order to get prescription refills for pre-existing conditions that your previous Primary had no problem issuing. Generally speaking they pass the buck and shirk their responsibility, failing in their role to manage you healthcare comprehensively. They don't study your medical record, which can be extensive for elderly patients, or take good notes, or acknowledge your complications. They only had half of my allergies on their chart. Their web portal absolutely sucks. I expected so more from Amazon. They will treat you like a drug addict, if you need pain medications for a chronic pain, treating chronic conditions like an acute condition, where your pharmacy will issue no more pills than your dentist for tooth ache, which will only last a few days for conditions like mine that were previously agreed regime going back 10 years. They don't read their email messages unless you call them first. Communication and doctor's rapport is abysmal. My health has suffered since choosing to work with One Medical.
