Very pleased with all aspects of the meal I had here. My spaghetti carbonara was excellent and one of the better carbonaras I have had. It was absolutely delicious with a thick creamy sauce and the Iberian ham definitely adds a unique flavor profile versus the stateside carbonara's I have had. The two red and white locally grown house wines were absolutely amazing as well and at four Euro's a generously poured glass was an amazing deal in my mind. I loved the white Portos so much that I actually went online to see if I could buy it in Michigan and unfortunately no luck! Relative to the restaurant and staff this was another big positive for this business. The restaurant has a very pleasant and inviting casual decor and the staff is super friendly with great follow up. Definitely strength on strength here at this restaurant where the overall dining experience was top-notch in my book. At 22 Euros for a oasta dish this good and two large glasses of nice locally produced wine is a deal in my book and worth checking out if you are in the area. read more

All I can say is excellent food, excellent service, and excellent ambiance. The upstairs was not open and it was busy on the main floor. As soon as one table left, there was another party to fill it. The burgers were excellent served on a brioche bun. Right amount of sweetness to pair with the flavors on the burgers. Just down the way from my hotel, Hotel Cortes in a narrow old street in Barcelona, this restaurant is beautiful. Small, cozy, charming. My husband found this restaurant as a favorite and most recommended on Trip Advisor so we decided to check it out. The restaurant seems small outside, but when you walk in they have two floors of seating areas for dinner. It was raining on and off that night and we made it in before the down pour. The line is long outside, but we waited about 20 mins. We ordered the spaghetti bolognese, carbonara and fried calamari as our appetizer. Everything was delicious and the cream sauce on the carbonara was not thick and rich; it was quite the opposite and makes the dish taste perfect. We stumbled into this place for dinner while in Barcelona. I was lured in by the beautiful entryway outside of the restaurant. Unfortunately, it went down hill from there. The service was great but I realized a little too late that this was where tourists ate and no locals. I really wanted Sangria and unfortunately they make theirs carbonated which I can't have. Great Choice Just North Of The Gothic Quarter..... For dinner on day 4 of our 5 days in Barcelona, we chose Prado de Flores. Here are the pros and cons of our experience. Pros: - The restaurant is centrally located on a pedestrian street (closed to most traffic) which connects Via Laietana and Las Ramblas (about 1 block from Las Ramblas). Since we stayed in the Hotel Ohla Barcelona next to Via Laeitana, it was an easy walk. - Prado is quite attractive, especially on the 2nd floor which has several cozy spots. - The menu is huge (that could be a negative) and leans toward tapas with lots of choices in each category. - The food was fine. We had generous portions of garlic prawns, cuttlefish in garlic sauce, Greek salad and large pieces of bread covered with diced tomatoes plus a large stein of draft beer. Everything was delicious...and for a very reasonable total of 55 Euros. - Rosi, our server, could not have been more gracious and helpful. Con: - None that come to mind! First night in Barcelona, we had a very lovely dinner at this restaurant , in a side street off Las Ramblas. The Black Sea food Paella was delicious, I think two people can easily share it. The Boloñesa pasta was also quite tasty, for one. The Peperoni Pizza, no comments!! The Copa de Vino Tinto ( red) a good value for €3.90. This was our first place we dined while in Barcelona and we went back another day. Their olives were our favorite during our 5 day stay. Their. Catalan style bread with tomato was our introduction to this dish, and had a great fresh flavor.Their staff was attentive, food was delivered quickly and with a lovely presentation. Their chicken on skewers had a delicious char on the onions and pepper with the chicken maintaining moisture. It was served with an artistically cut tomato wedge and a tiny flour. Theres a line outside when we got there, but the waiting time is pretty quick, less than 5 mins for 2 people. I guess they have a second floor accomodation. Food was awesome. We ordered Marisco paella, Iberico assortment, Goat cheese salad, patatas bravas and chiles. The olives were yummy too. STEFY was aboslutely on point with the orders and the timing of the courses. She is always smiling, very accomodating and gets what we wanted. I will come back here again, the paella was well cooked too and wasn't rushed. read more

The four of us enjoyed a delicious dinner the first night while visiting in Barcelona on Sunday, November 17th. The meal was so amazing and the service was absolutely over the top that we went back on the 18th and experienced the same high quality of food and service. The cava here is also some of my favorite i've tried while in Barcelona. Compared to other places i've tried the Jamon Iberico, it also seems to be of much higher quality here. Good ambiance in the restaurant, but sitting by the entry means lot of hot air entering with no perks of the AC. On hot days/ nights it makes it tough. This is a belated review from October 2022. It was a Sunday afternoon around 5ish when we came here for an early dinner. After we ordered we found out that the restaurant was closing soon and we ended up being the last customers of the day. The staff were so nice to tell us we didn't have to eat in a hurry at all. We had a green salad which had more than just green veggies, grilled squid and seafood paella. Everything was very good. The squid ink paella arrived hot, and it was rich in flavorful seafood essence from the langostines, clams, cuttlefish, and calamari.
