My wife and I had such an exceptional experience at Prado de Flores that we ended up going back twice- it was that good! Our server Eira made the experience even better. She clearly knows the menu well and added a lot to our visit. The restaurant has a cozy, inviting atmosphere that makes us want to linger.

My husband found this restaurant as a favorite and most recommended on Trip Advisor so we decided to check it out. The restaurant seems small outside, but when you walk in they have two floors of seating areas for dinner. It was raining on and off that night and we made it in before the down pour. The line is long outside, but we waited about 20 mins. We ordered the spaghetti bolognese, carbonara and fried calamari as our appetizer. Everything was delicious and the cream sauce on the carbonara was not thick and rich; it was quite the opposite and makes the dish taste perfect. We loved the ice tea and pineapple drink and it went well with our entrees. The staff were very helpful and nice. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We stumbled into this place for dinner while in Barcelona. I was lured in by the beautiful entryway outside of the restaurant. Unfortunately, it went down hill from there. The service was great but I realized a little too late that this was where tourists ate and no locals. I really wanted Sangria and unfortunately they make theirs carbonated which I can't have. We ordered the paella and I've had better paella in New York so I was a bit disappointed. We also ordered octopus and it was tough. I'd eat else where for a more authentic experience.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was amazing., This place had my wife's favorite paella out of all the places in Spain that she's tried. The place is really clean, and they had seating on the main floor and upstairs. Please make reservations, it seems like this place fills up quickly. The prices were fair. This place is a gem. I forgot the server's name, but she was a Filipino young woman, and she did a wonderful job!

Great Choice Just North Of The Gothic Quarter..... For dinner on day 4 of our 5 days in Barcelona, we chose Prado de Flores. Here are the pros and cons of our experience. Pros: - The restaurant is centrally located on a pedestrian street (closed to most traffic) which connects Via Laietana and Las Ramblas (about 1 block from Las Ramblas). Since we stayed in the Hotel Ohla Barcelona next to Via Laeitana, it was an easy walk. - Prado is quite attractive, especially on the 2nd floor which has several cozy spots. - The menu is huge (that could be a negative) and leans toward tapas with lots of choices in each category. - The food was fine. We had generous portions of garlic prawns, cuttlefish in garlic sauce, Greek salad and large pieces of bread covered with diced tomatoes plus a large stein of draft beer. Everything was delicious...and for a very reasonable total of 55 Euros. - Rosi, our server, could not have been more gracious and helpful. Con: - None that come to mind! The overall experience was so good we almost went back a second time!

First night in Barcelona, we had a very lovely dinner at this restaurant , in a side street off Las Ramblas. The Black Sea food Paella was delicious, I think two people can easily share it. The Boloñesa pasta was also quite tasty, for one. The Peperoni Pizza, no comments!! The Copa de Vino Tinto ( red) a good value for €3.90. Our lovely waitress Mel was very attentive checking on us often. All in all it was a fun night. Now we rest until tomorrow morning, it's been a long day. By the way, skip the desert, and the coffee.

This was our first place we dined while in Barcelona and we went back another day. Their olives were our favorite during our 5 day stay. Their. Catalan style bread with tomato was our introduction to this dish, and had a great fresh flavor.Their staff was attentive, food was delivered quickly and with a lovely presentation. Their chicken on skewers had a delicious char on the onions and pepper with the chicken maintaining moisture. It was served with an artistically cut tomato wedge and a tiny flour. Clean, cute, friendly place to grab a bite.

Had a fantastic, late night dining experience here. Our waitress, Laura, was outstanding. Her recommendations for the food were perfect. It has been our ultimate tapas experience in Barcelona.

This was really a 5 star for me but the bartender was so rude. I wish I can give it 5 stars. The mussels, ocand sangria were amazing and place looks super cute

This was our best restaurant experience. The food was excellent. We had the stuffed eggplant, Greek salad and spaghetti bolognese. All were delicious. Service was good. She checked on us periodically. It's small on the first floor but there is an upstairs. I felt very comfortable. It's not a stuffy environment. I would go back if we weren't leaving the city.

We are in Barcelona for the first time and just came across this place while walking. It was such a good find and our server Dulce was amazing she suggested some paella and it was delicious! Highly recommend

Great lunch spot, and a group pleaser with tapas to pizza and pasta. The service was extremely accommodating to tourists. Kimpton Vividora guests, this is right around the corner. The star of the show was the octopus tapas. Pizza was good and other tapas, pardon peppers and Iberico jamon lovely and beautifully presented.

This is a belated review from October 2022. It was a Sunday afternoon around 5ish when we came here for an early dinner. After we ordered we found out that the restaurant was closing soon and we ended up being the last customers of the day. The staff were so nice to tell us we didn't have to eat in a hurry at all. We had a green salad which had more than just green veggies, grilled squid and seafood paella. Everything was very good. We finished eating while they were cleaning and closing the restaurant. :)

My Greek salad was very authentic and was as good as any salad I had while I lived in Greece. Very fresh vegetables, great Feta and seasoned to perfection. The shrimp scampi under the Tapas menu with garlic was equally good and oh so tasty. The smallish inside restaurant is best described as rustic and a tad warm. Instead I opted for the outside dining area, which has just a few tables but offered a very pleasant ambiance in the small side street this business is located on with low foot traffic and a very nice breeze on the warm day I dined here. The relaxed dining on the outside is definitely the way to go here especially during the summer months. From a negative standpoint, certain aspects of the service were too slow. I was seated pretty quickly upon arrival but I waited a tad bit too long to get my order in. Once ordered though, the food came pretty quickly on a positive note. However, for all intents and purposes the service stopped at that point where I had no follow up and literally had to walk inside the business to get my bill. Overall, the dining experience was still great for me slow service aside as the quality of the food and outdoor ambiance far outweighed the negatives. I would say if you are in a bit of there rush you may want to look elsewhere. However, if you are looking for a relaxing dining experience with great food than this business will be definitely fit the bill!

Ziryab seemed to fit the bill, so we made plans to stop here during our first night in the city. Ziryab is located close to the Gothic Quarter, on side street. It's kind of inconspicuous from the outside, but the interior gives way to a really welcoming space. The restaurant is separated into two main areas, with an earth-tone color scheme that has a rustic, almost cave-like aesthetic. The high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows keep the dining room open and spacious. The tapas menu had a good selection, and we decided on several items: pan con tomate, sweet potato rolls, chicken cannelloni, bacon-wrapped figs, croquettes, falafel, and a charcuterie board. All the tapas were great - my favorites were the chicken cannelloni, pan con tomate, and the charcuterie board. The cannelloni especially was a standout - definitely a unique dish, and the chicken was super flavorful. We opted for dessert, and got the feta whip cheesecake - this was great as well. The combination of tang and sweet was a good finisher to our meal. Service was great - everyone was friendly and our dishes were served at a good pace. Overall, I'm glad I tried out Ziryab - the tapas were delicious and atypical of ones you find elsewhere in Barcelona. I would have no qualms returning here for another meal.

We ordered fresh salmon with dill, coroquetas de jamón iberico, a cod fritter, and chicken cannelloni with foie gras and black truffle sauce. It's done so right, juicy tangy, bursting with flavors and the pita in the salad is made into a curly flower and gives a delicious crunch. We liked the dish of garbanzo and yogurt a bit less, as it was quite heavy and lacked flavor. My son was very pleased with shish tavouk with chicken, and I loved my halloumi dish.
