More details about our experience below: We required a home inspection within 5 days of an accepted offer on a Friday night. Saturday morning, we called and a very kind woman answers. We informed of our situation and were given a Sunday appointment. Due to the Sunday service we thought we would get an unhelpful inspector, and charged an arm and a leg. Instead we were met by Garry who showed us elite level service, professionalism, and inspection. Explanations and details you'd receive from a master level inspector all delivered in a respectful tone, ie treated as equals. We first met Bill at our Homestretch (first time home buyer) class and knew he was a knowledgeable and honest person. We hired him to inspect our home in Minneapolis and we were impressed! He did a wonderful job walking us through the whole inspection and giving us a realistic picture of the house's condition. The only thing I wish Bill would have emphasized more was the condition of our home's electricity. He said there may be knob and tube present and that we should hire an electrician to inspect it. I wish he would have advocated for the electrician more than he did. In the long run, we did have to hire an electrician and had to pay A LOT of money to fix the faulty knob and tube wiring.
