With the overwhelming amount of merchandise, items are overflowing into the aisles. It can be hard to find things if you're looking for anything specific. If you're looking for the latest HO releases from Rapido, Atlas, or Athearn, this isn't the place. ...but if you want to get some inexpensive freight cars and track for your favorite kid (or yourself), you're bound to find something here. In the back they have scratchbuilding supplies, books, and paint. I found some stuff here (O gauge vinyl roadbed) that hasn't been made in years. In talking with the staff, they purchase collections of stuff so they don't always know what they will have. It is like walking into a used train show, and the prices are very fair. I have never seen this one time in my entire time in the stores. Whoever said that in another review is lying. - Prices are compared against the market and 99% of the time, the store will give the customer the best price they can. - They have the most generous trade-in sale percentages of any store around.
